- This is a video showing the making of painting done predominantly with Indigo color. It ended up being very long so I have removed a few sections and put the end detailing in a separate, short video that you can watch if you want to see the final touches.
This is one of a series of four paintings I did with the same color combinations. All can be found on my website at:

Materials:
Nara paper 12 x 18" (30x46cm)
Isopropyl Alcohol 99%
Ranger inks in Indigo, Mushroom, and Aqua
Copic blending pen (just a fine tip with alcohol in the pen)
Revlon hair dryer
Fine paint and silcone brushes

Thank you for sharing this amazing video!
I am glad you like it. Paintings always start as a mess then evolve as you keep working and adding layers 👏
Thank you, such an informative video and in real time, so helpful. Beautiful!
Thank you. Happy it was helpful 👏
What model is your Revlon hair dryer? I am only seeing ones with the L shape. Thank you. Even with my small travel dryer I have to hold the paper down so that I can use the hair dryer without it lifting my paper off the work surface.
I looked up the one I got on amazon and it is no longer available. What you are looking for is a hair dryer volumizer brush. Mine was had a removable brush, but if you cant find a removable one, I would just cut the brush off. With any dyer you can also use my favorite tool - a foot pedal speed controller. It will let you slow down the air to almost nothing.

@@tangledartisticdesigns Thank you. I did see one that is only 500 watts and has two brush heads that can be removed or so it would seem.
@@beckystout2231 That would be perfect 👏
