Abstract Alcohol Ink Painting - a Mossy Outburst

Join me as I paint on a whim, no plan, just put down some ink and see where it goes. I cut out a fair bit of the detailing portion as it is just dotting alcohol so pretty boring.
Materials:
Nara paper 9x12
99% isopropyl alcohol
Ranger ink - Moss, Willow, Sunset Orange
Pinata brass alcohol ink
Small paint brush to guide ink flow and for dotting details
Q-tips for soaking up excess ink
Revlon hair dryer

I had it on low and cool. I have a peddle speed control too so I can have it very low speed. Not expensive and one of my favourite tools. ☺️

This is beautiful but the music choice was driving me crazy with that continual loop. I’m much rather hear you explaining what you were doing.

Thanks for the feedback Sandy. I am not great with music and have stopped adding as I think most people turn it off anyway as I do. I am doing these more to show the process vs as a tutorial, so I just enjoy the painting and pass that on to those who want to see.
