    I'm about to make you a pasta you can't refuse.
    To me, there is nothing like a big, piled high Italian hero (or sub/hoagie/grinder) LOADED with meat, cheese, peppers and a tangy Italian dressing sauce with a little mayo making an appearance. (I legit drooled just typing that out).
    And you know me - always coming up with crazy ideas on how to marry dishes. So I decided to take the best and richest flavors of an Italian hero and transform it into the most decadent, creamy, tangy, cheesy and meaty pasta ever. Folks, this one's called Godfather Pasta and its only fitting as this is a dish to make the Don himself proud.
    Not only are the flavors abundant and magical in the way they combine, this is a SNAP and takes NO TIME AT ALL to make in your Instant Pot!

    Jeff I'm in Australia I made this awesome pasta last night I could not get Asiago cheese anywhere in Australia even after intensive google searches, so I ended up using Grana Padano cheese which many people say is the number 1 substitute for Asiago cheese, also I had to use fresh banana peppers because they don't sell jars of them down under here in Australia, anyway I got around those little annoying problem and cooked this Godfather Pasta in my Breville Fast Slow Cooker which is just like a Instant Pot and all I can say WOW & more WOWS this flavor in this pasta is so beyond words it mind boggling it would be in the top 3 pasta dishes I've ever eaten in my lifetime and I've eaten tons of pasta dishes in my life, Jeff every one of your Instant Pot recipes I've cooked has been excellent and I've tried many of them, dead set I believe coming across your website when I was looking for pressure cooking recipes when I was searching Google the day after getting my Breville at the beginning of the year was a godsend all I can say Jeff is thank you and thank you again please don't ever stop doing what you're doing I'm sharing your recipes and website with many people I know because many people in Australia are finally catching up with the concept of multi cookers, I also brought a Ninja Foodi as well after your recommendation anyway thanks again Jeff.

      Only Jesus can forgive sins !!!
      The pope and priests and any other person is flesh and blood like you and me and do not have the authority or power from Jesus to forgive sins. Jesus is high priest from the order of Melchizedek (Hebrews 5:10). “Seeing then that we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the son of God, let us hold fast our ‘confession’” (Hebrews 4:14/3:1/6:20/8:1). Confess to “infallible” Jesus, not “fallible” man. The Roman Catholic Church, changed the word and made it manmade and tweaked it according to their satisfaction and specifications. However, religions and denominations has perverted the word . However, it's Vital that you seek the Lord Jesus Christ and in Spirit and truth . It's crucial you read the Bible and have an RELATIONSHIP with our Lord and Savior the Messiah.. The clock is ticking ! Jesus himself said that Scripture cannot be altered (John 10:35).
      Only Jesus can forgive sins. “Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins” (Hebrews 9:22). Only Jesus shed blood for us by dying on the cross and since he was the only one who was sinless (1 Peter 1:19/2:22). God sent him to be the perfect “propitiation” for the sins of the whole world (1 John 2:2/4:10) “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace” (Ephesians 1:7). “The blood of Jesus cleanseth us from all sin” (1 John 1:7). “To him who loved us and washed us from our sins in his own blood” (Revelation 1:5)
      While dying on the cross, Jesus said, “It is finished!” (John 19:30). He meant exactly that but the Roman Catholic Church, Muslim, and etc... insists that his perfect, sinless sacrifice of himself was not good enough to take away all our sins, although there are a lot of scriptural references that say otherwise. We now have direct access to Jesus for forgiveness. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

      (1 John 1:9). Jesus by himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the majesty on high (Hebrews 1:3). “For the father judges no one but has committed all judgment to the son” (John 5:22/Acts 17:31/2 Timothy 4:1).
      God answer's prayers according to his will
      Jesus died once, for all of us, for all time (Hebrews 10:10,12,14). “There is none righteous, not one” (Romans 3:10). “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). “The wages of sin is death but the free gift of God is eternal life” (Romans 6:23). “The only mediator between God and man is Jesus Christ” (1 Timothy 2:5,6). “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me” (John 4:16).
      “And the truth shall set you free!” (John 8:32). Be blessed! May Yeshua give you wisdom and knowledge and understanding of the word of GOD and asked Holy Spirit to give you spiritual eyes, heart and mind and to understand what's is the truth so you be able to discern between good and evil. However without Holy Spirit you will not be able to understand the word of GOD. You cannot either hot or cold Jewish or Catholic, As believers we cannot follow mankind's, we must follow Jesus Christ because He's perfect and sinless sacrifice... However, you cannot serve two master's Devil or GOD ! We must not be lukewarm. We ALL need Yeshua for our sins, None of us are perfect, nor am I. We ALL bleed one red BLOOD , and we ALL needs a Savior for our salvation. We ALL are one HUMAN RACE ! And we ALL will face judgment day HEAVEN or HELL. Plz read your Bible, the clock is ticking. King James Version Bible . MayJesus Christ bless you and yours family's.

      God made it simple to be saved. He loves us so much that He does not want us to die in our sin. So He gave us the free gift of salvation. All you have to do is receive His gift while you still can. If you want to be saved today, all you have to do is trust God and receive Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. Pray this simple prayer OUT LOUD and mean it in your heart:
      SINNER'S PRAYER:
      Dear God, I know that I'm a sinner and I need a Savior. I want to turn away from my sinful life to the life You have planned for me. Please forgive me for my sins. Cleanse me of my past, make me new. I confess Your Son Jesus Christ, died for me. I believe in my heart that He rose from the dead. At this very moment, I accept Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Thank you Jesus for Your grace that has saved me from my sins... and given me eternal life. Please send Your Holy Spirit to guide me, and to help me do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus name, Amen.
      It is not saying the prayer that saves us, but the true belief in Jesus Christ in our hearts that does. The sinner’s prayer is a verbal expression of what has happened in our hearts. It is THAT genuine belief that God sees in us when He promises to forgive us and give us eternal life.Thank You Jesus!!!
      2 Corinthians 5:17
      “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
      THE HOLY SPIRIT
      Those who have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. We can feel Him.... He teaches, He leads, guides, and comforts us. He confirms our adoption to the Father! Listen for His guidance to you in your new walk with the Lord! The next step, if you are able... is to be baptized. Baptism is a public action that declares your decision to follow Christ. It is the outward action of your inward faith commitment to Him.

    • @itstimetorepent234
      @itstimetorepent234 4 роки тому

      Water baptism of what Jesus has done for us. As we go down into the water, it symbolizes our burial with the Lord. When we are raised out of the water, we are symbolically resurrected... raised to a new life in Christ to be with Him forever.
      Peter said to them, "Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." - Acts 2:38
      STANDING STRONG - ARMOR OF GOD
      Once you are saved, a battle has begun. You are also now a target to the enemy, satan. Be prepared to stand strong. Pray for supernatural protection and put on the full armor of God daily. God has given us all the tools we need to protect oursleves. Use the word of God. We have been given authority over the enemy... satan does not want you to believe that. There is supernatural power in the name of Jesus. Use it!!

      “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe.” - Proverbs 18:10
      “Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you. Luke 10:19. and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you. - Luke 10:19
      Also - Psalm 44:5, Deuteronomy 28:7, Mark 16:17-18, Matthew 28:18-19, Luke 10:17 & Acts 4:30. This video is about Spiritual warfare and the Armor of God. Fighting in the supernatural battle begins at salvation. When we belong to Christ, the enemy never has the final word over our lives. We are secure in God's hands, Stand strong! The battle belongs to the Lord, and He has the final victory.
      Ephesians 6:10-17
      Jesus, I pray for the full armor of God, the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the shield of faith by which I will be able to extinguish flaming arrows of the evil one, the belt of truth and that you would shod my feet with the preparation of the Gospel of peace, and for the sword of the Spirit which is Your word; in Your name, Jesus Christ

      Just like we need physical food every day for our physical bodies, we need spiritual food every day for our spirits. Skip a day and you are hungry. Skip several days and you begin to starve. If we don’t connect with God through prayer and the Bible on a daily basis, we gradually starve our spirits.
      Junk food may keep you from starving but it won’t keep you healthy. What we put into our minds and hearts is spiritual food. It’s what our minds think about, or digest, during the day. Just as the carrots or cheese you eat are what you eat physical and mentally Your mind chews on what it is fed and it becomes part of you, for better or for worse. When we pray, "Give us this day our daily bread," we are asking not only for physical food but spiritual food. In Amos 8:11, a famine is prophesied, not a famine of food or a thirst for water, but a famine of hearing the words of the Lord.
      Read your Bible ! 👉 Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth Bible.. Remember, Yeshua is watching and so is the Devil

      brilliantatbreakfast exactly what I was thinking. Between all the meat, the sodium in the banana peppers and roasted peppers and meats and the fat and salt in the boursin that is a really unhealthy mix for those who aren’t supposed to eat salt or that much fat. I realize that Jeff probably doesn’t always eat like this (everything in moderation) but my heart hurts just from watching this. I think the sauce would’ve been creamy enough with just the heavy cream. I also would make my own italian dressing as that is where you can cut the fat and sodium too. I would use half that amount of meat too. Then again I am at least 20 years older than Jeffrey and I worry about the sodium in the meals I cook for myself, my hubby and my son.Not saying it doesn’t look delicious (it does).

    This is like Texas Mac & Cheese but with slightly different fatty meats. If you're like me and want some crispiness, you could hit saute' after adding the last ingredients to just brown (not blacken) the bottom side, but if not careful, the pot clean-up could be a lot tougher if you brown too long. You can let the pot soak overnight in soapy water and use sos to expidite the clean-up. It's worth it to some. Alternative: transfer Godfather Pasta to a non-stick pan and brown over stove OR transfer into caserole dish and finish browning on broil in oven.

    This looks great, you may think i'm crazy, but i would have no problem putting this mixture on a toasted hero/grinder/ hoagie bun and eating it as a sandwich, maybe even some garlic butter brushed on the top bun. Possibly some raw baby spinach tucked into the inside for texture. I know, i am a P-I-G = H-O-G. But i can come up with some food concoctions that are delicious. 1st time i've seen your site and i am subbing right now my friend, btw, i'm from rural kentucky, we eat about anything, lol

      I think somewhere he mentioned that the Ultra took longer to quick release so he went back to the original.

      @@brantmyers3619 Thanks Bryant ;) This is a good thing to know. The Ultra is my first Instant Pot so I wouldn't have known this otherwise.

    This is one of those recipes that as I see the ingredients ..... I think I won't like that, because it has so many things in it that I am just like ? what is that. BUT......I bet it is one of those recipes that if I was served in a restaurant or at a friends house, I would def ask for the recipe and be very surprised at the ingredients and how good they are.

    Always add the meat first and then deglaze with the onions. Color is flavor.

    Jeffrey, I have a question for you. First off, this recipe was phenomenal, like all your others. I work at a DV Shelter and make your recipes for the victims almost every night. I use an 8qt. My question is, when making your recipes, particularly this one, do I add extra pressure cook time if I am doubling the recipe? Or will 2 pounds of pasta cook in the 6 minutes ? You are the man!

    I made this today 9/27/19, personally I liked it wife didn't care for it.
    Adding the sliced hot banana peppers gave it a sour taste to start then you got the Italian flavor.
    I'd make it again just without the hot peppers to taste the difference.

    I have a request please please ...I see you love Chinesse food and have made few dishes but how about Mongolian Beef? I would love to see your take on it ... love your pastas too and many of your dishes, but please give Mongolian Beef in the instant pot a go, it is a unsung hero... I love so much and now days can not find a place that makes it the old original taste of the chinesse restarants. Please? Come on, you can do it....

    Pancetta = salt
    Butter = some salt
    Italian Dressing = loads of salt
    Pepperoni = salt
    Salami = salt
    lol
    Wonder how many days with of salt the whole batch contains.
    Other than that, looks yummy.

    OK, I made it per instructions. It was way to vinegary for me - maybe cut down on the yellow peppers and cut back on Italian dressing - because I could not taste the meats that I got fresh from the deli. Cellentani pasta didn't quite make it to al dente (7 minutes PC maybe?) Not sure I want to experiment with this further. Thanks, though.

    That is a great idea! I love my instant pot and will make my own version of this kind of spicy version. I really enjoy your personality. Thanks for the inspiration. Is it very salty? Have a great day!--Tressa Daigle

      He does have great presentations, but IMO he uses too many garbage ingredients. And if he thinks that the stuff in processed food is not put there with intent by Big Pharma he has another think coming. My recommendation would be all natural ingredients and NO refined sugar or at the most very minimal amounts. The weight of sugar in a bottle of Catsup would astound you. There was little to no chronic disease in the world until the massive trafficking of white flour and refined sugar began in the 1800s.
