Beautiful man with an outstanding voice!! Just discovered this band a few years ago. Yes, I was around ,but America wasn't playing their music.❤Rip Tommy!!
What a voice. Dean Ford is one of the great vocalists that has stood the test of time. The Glasgow Road is his latest before the release of his album.
Dean Ford has such a great voice!
Scotlands, Crosby, Stills, and Nash...Great harmonies!
I adore Dean Ford of marmalade, he's not lost his voice or looks through the years. I wish him well and plan to buy his music as he produces it can't wait for whole album to be finished. I would have his posters up anytime, way to get back on the horse and start again. You write such beautiful and touching lyrics still today.
Sadly departed now Kim...

Before my time, but as I got older I learned that this was it!!! 🎶❤️
They were a great band!
Brilliant band, still love their music. 😊💗
Davina you seem to pop up on every marmalade tribute site
Wonderful band ! Better than most of the modern ones today
Great band the lead has a voice that is a mixture of soul and rock, and there is and actor that he favors but I can't think of him right now. This part I am writing after his death may he rest in peace, he was so handsome and talented, now I can tell you who he favors to me, and actor name Terence Stamp when he was in the movie called the collector, very good movie 1965.
I can see it. In the young Stamp photos. You are so right. I also was wondering who he favored. :)
Peter Cetera.
Dean e lindo.
I've spoken with both Dean and Alan on the phone and their voices are loverly. Each has a very soft voice which has retained its lilt and of course each was charming.
Real insight . . . very interesting . . . thanks for the upload.
By the way you can be proud of yourself for finding yourself and going sober

Gracias por este regalo. Ellos son maravillosos
Brilliant, well done Nimmie! thanks so much :)
Love these guys!
There must be a vid of the whole of that live 'Can You Help Me' out there somewhere! The Marms was superb when they sneaked in great recordings, away from the record companies commercial bilge, that they wanted them to record. It's sorting the chaff out from the nuggets of great sounds.....
Wonderful
Zappa always a cheerful fella
@sandicb1 Very kind of you - Thank you very much, my pleasure.
Una canción con Una melodía tan linda, pero la letra tan triste, pero hermosa también,si muy linda
This is was Scotland was able to produce in the '60s-'70s, and there were plenty of these. Proud tae be.
The 70s esp were a high point for Scottish artists.
Rod Stewart (does he count?) , Frankie Millar, Sutherland Brothers, Gallagher and Lyle, Average White Band and Gerry Rafferty to name but a few.

How come , till 2019 , I’d never heard Can You Help Me ? Amazing track.
It is an amazing track Joan. 1 of my favorites💕
Dean Ford RIP. I played with an Aberdeen based band in late 1960s and we supported Marmalade in Dundee in December of 1970. Dearest memories and look back with fondness. Junior Campbell was an incredible musician and guitarist. Left handed guitar player. I remember them when they were called Dean Ford and the Gaylords before they changed their name to Marmalade. We still play some of their songs today. Rainbow, Reflections, Obla Di (Lennon/McCartney) Radancer etc. Dean was replaced by Sandy Newman around 1971/1972. Dean sadly passed away a few years ago. If you really want to cry take a look at this. ua-cam.com/video/Dn9bAvWS4RU/v-deo.html This was recorded just before his death. Please take a look. You will be enlightened. Bless you Dean
Still my favorite song of all time!! anyone know where to write to Dean Ford!!!!
Damn Dean had a pure voice!!
Interesting comments. - JGL
👍👍
Dean Ford died in 2018 and his daughter Tracy died in 2020. RIP to you both
It*s SUPER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Who was the lead singer of the group?
Gloria Salsman Dean Ford. Sadly, he passed away 3 days ago on January 1st.
They are so adorable so sad Dean is singing with the angels now miss you so much god bless you xxx
Dean was marmalade so glad I can call him a friend people used to say he was stuck up but he was so shy miss my phone chats last spoke to him two days before he passed away he sounded great but he wouldn’t say anything singing with the angels now until we meet again I will never forget you god bless you babe 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Dean's voice doesn't seem to match what he looks like. He's so small but has this solid delivery. I look at him and think there is no way he is going to hit those notes. He's got that soul singer edge like Steve Winwood or Peter Hoorelbeke.
Alas the 80s happened and the world went in the wrong direction
and we were robbed of what should have been and now here we are in hell congratulations.
