    Thank you these are really useful tips. I’m on my phone before I sleep, I intend to read a book but I hardly do because I have messages/notifications then I watch videos then it takes months to finish the book. 😊

      That really is one of the dangers of having them in your room @helenuk9582 - The addiction to attending to all messages and notifications is on the rise and it's a real shame. I really hope you're able to make the decision to turn your phone off a couple of hours before bed, plug it in outside of your room, and leave it there until the morning (...and not make checking it the first thing you do in the morning).     So good! Thank you for doing all the research and sharing with us! I am guilty of all of that! I wonder how long, if at all, we can reverse the bad effects. Also I would like to know if tablets have same detrimental side effects?

    How about Apple Watches? Should we not sleep with them on and/ or leave them behind?

      @yanelimota2907 - The ideal would be to take them off and charge them elsewhere over night, but I do understand that they have functions that monitor your sleep, have vibrating alarms, etc. so it depends what you use them for during the night.
      If you're not tracking anything, and you don't have an alarm set, I would suggest you can do without it on overnight.

      @user-mp1fp4xf8o - Keeping your phone out of the room during the night is a very easy but beneficial thing to do. Good luck with staying consistent with the practice.
