I'm always amazed at how people can add electronics and lighting to a model kit, those pieces look so small. Very creative work, I like all the added jewellery and accessories, especially the hair. Cool build.
@scalemodelsnail I see you a lot on Fred Henry's chat & Brian's as well. I met you briefly at the Simpsonville, SC show. Just subbed & liked. Your vids crack me up, love your sense of humor.
Thanks for the sub! I’m glad I can keep you entertained with my modeling madness lol will you be attending ACME or our little show here in Charleston? :)
Wow! That is an amazing build Jess. Lot of detail. Love the haunted house tattoo you have. Have a great weekend coming up and see you in the hangouts. Senior
Great video Jess, and wow the finished result is amazing you've probably heard me saying that if i tryed lightning anything up, i would light myself up like a Xmas tree 😂, excellent work love it ❤
Nice work, came out great! I like the added details like the bling on the pants and the lights, way to take it up a notch. I'm sure your tattoo artist is gonna love it. -David
I love my "Weird Ohs"! Built 4 so far and have a few more in my stash. I too like to make 'mods' as I build, adding extras and electronics. Well done. (Subbed!)
No worries! I too get behind on videos. We’re all trying to support one another the best we can, when we can. Thank you for taking the time to watch. It’s greatly appreciated 😊
How did you drill out those exhaust pipes< or were they already hollow. Built mind years ago and can't remember but I'd love to try that on a future build.
I used a vise drill. I broke them many times and had to glue them and apply tiny amounts of putty trying to drill straight through. I recommend cutting them in half, then drill a hole through each half and glue halves back together. -thats how I should have done it. Hope that helps :)
@@scalemodelsnail Thanks for that. The kit looks great and I loved the lighting effect. Looking forward to your next build. You build a lot of the stuff I really like. I've built all the Weird-Ohs, silly surfers and all but now of the Frantics, also most of the Ed Roth kits that Atlantis has brought out.
@@thegluebombshow I started off building the Mr. Gasser. I enjoyed it so much, I was curious if there were any lady monsters I could build. When I found out there was, I went hog wild! Thanks for being a loyal subscriber :]
THANK YOU! Shed is still a work in progress. Unfortunately it’s rained just about every weekend here. I’d be mud wrestling with support beams 3x my height. Next time you see me it would be on an episode of 1000 ways to die 😂
I came over from Mark Batsons channel where I am a subscriber. Your build is off the hook, but I wish to make a small suggestion. When gluing those legs and other pieces together instead of a cyano use a styrene cement please 1: the bond is far stronger. 2: if you cement the pieces well using a nice bead, the seam will not require filler. The welded plastic will fill the gap with molten plastic and once cured it should only need to be sanded smooth. 3: the shear properties of cyano are such that the joints tend to be brittle. One slip and cracks will show quickly, whereas styrene cement will have welded the seam and no such cracks will occur. Other than that you are skilled and are welcome to car and weirdo modeling of which I am a big fan. Not that you need my approval.
Hey Thanks for the sub! I appreciate the compliment and the constructive feedback. This was the most brittle plastic I’ve worked with as of yet. It’s a way tougher build then it appeared. I’ve learned a lot of new things because of the hag and received a lot of important modeling advice from our great community. I’m currently doing a repair on her arm and I’m going to attempt the method you’ve just described. I’m willing to try anything to cut the filling and sanding times down! Thanks so much again and welcome to my channel of modeling madness!!🐌✌️
Hey, Thank you for taking the time to watch my video and leave a comment. I really appreciate it! :] The bleed was rough but nothing spotting in with a brush couldn’t fix. I applied clear coat after the touch up fixes ✌️🐌
WOW very creative,, do you have shop cards? I would love to trade shop cards with you,, my email is in the description under the title of my videos,, later Glen
All the "Extras" you did to this classic kit, really brings it to life. Very well done. Thanks for giving us a look.
Thank You! N thanks for watching! I’m glad you enjoyed seeing what I did with the hag! ☺️
I'm always amazed at how people can add electronics and lighting to a model kit, those pieces look so small. Very creative work, I like all the added jewellery and accessories, especially the hair. Cool build.
Thanks for the compliment! The LED’s are so small. I had a lot of fun with all the details.
Beautiful model, original. The Alclad chrome is impressive. The assembly of the lamps is cool. Good work.👍👍👍👍
The alclad chrome is difficult to work with but it looks really nice. Thank you!
I love the way you added the crazy wig - makes a big difference.
Thank you. I really think adding the hair on these models brings them to life!
