Model building is all about planning and problem solving; even when you are working with a kit that has (presumably) been pre-engineered and test fitted to make clear and precise instructions. But since mistakes do happen, it's always advisable to "dry-fit" parts to ensure they will fit before assembly. But you seem to be 'counterpunching' well when problems arise, and your project is looking very good! Have fun painting your Munster House. I'm looking forward to seeing this when it's finished! 72nd Like.

For an HO Scale house, that's pretty HUGE. I think that, if I were to build it, I would assemble the walls on the base, but only cement the walls together and paint sub assemblies. Most of the HO and N scale structures that I've built have been fairly simple (four walls). Still, it's looking sharp, Ms. Snail.

Great work so far, nice catch on the instructions. Excellent idea on the resin for light blocking. If you are keeping that color for the roof if you have a flat coat hit it with that and you should be good to go :)

That resin idea is definitely a good one. Never thought of that myself. I use hot glue and do a similar thing along the seams and then paint it flat black as well to keep the light in. How will you be lighting this one up??......I'll be looking forward to that one!!!!! 👻👻👻👻

The house is coming along great. Nice solution to your window installation opportunity! I started using white glue to mock all my builds a couple of years ago. Just something to consider for next time. I would reshoot the roof sections. Worst case is that there will be no change....or could you spray a dull clear over them.

Jess, No idea about the shiny roof tiles - sounds very odd to me. On dry-fitting the walls, would liberal use of Tamiya or Mr. Hobby masking tape have helped to hold enough things together, for long enough, to get everything fit? I'm not sure if this idea has any merit at all for solving the problem of installing the window inserts post-priming. Finally, you may wish to include more Zelda in some of your videos - a very nice touch to include her in this one.

That going to look good. plastic should all be the same, so it was the change in temp and moistier in the shed. Dose makes an interesting problem to resolve.

Yes!! 100% only if I had a local hobby shop........I have to drive across state line to go to a hobby shop of any kind......but I drive the 40ish miles and smile when I walk in to the little shop
