Looking good! i built one of these and painted it metallic red. IT went under in the 2013 High River Flood. I was able to save it all, but that river mud is hard to get off it. It needs a rebuild in a major way. I like your teal paint job and the work on your boards. I painted one of my boards to look like the one Frankie Avalon had in "Back To the Beach". Cool pipes as well!
They are fun but a bit of a challenge with the seams in visible places. If I was doing it again I would glue his arm on and then paint around it rather than painting it then gluing it on. Then I could hide the seam better. Haul it out and give it a try. If I can help let me know. ...............Steve.
It's Awesome, love The Details etc. His Sunburn & The Exhaust Extensions/ wire brace Tip ,Fantastic Everything !! It's Making Me Want 2 of Them LOL, have a Blessed wknd Brother.
That's why I love your work so much Steve, because you go the extra mile. Looking at the California in your license plate that you detailed out... I can't even get the tires lettered up on my NASCAR😣 lol
Woodie's Surfari is looking great Steve. Some interesting tips like the wire for the base, and the straws for the extended exhausts. The woody's paint choices and execution are excellent. Woodie's paint looks terrific, though there's a real cringing ouch to it. Too many times I looked like that myself I guess.
Thanks for the comment Vince, always glad to hear from you. I don't think I've ever been that tanned but I don't live in California. lol. I'm really happy with the way the effects turned out.
Musta been a really fun build. Looks great, though. Would have liked to see with the driver. All in all, a fantastic build. We're you pleased with the Krylon? How did it act? Just wondering. Great job. Thx again. God Bless you n b safe, have fun. Tom T4 out
Thanks for the comment Tom, I'm working on the Beach Bunny video then there will be a final video showing both completed builds so stay tuned. The Krylon chrome works well over the black primer, I gave them a day to dry before spraying on the chrome or touching them. I understand the new Rustoleum chrome works well also, Chris at the hpiguys Workshop uses it and highly recommends it.
Great kit thanks for sharing your build a friend from Canada Rob ✌
Glad you were able to check out some of my older builds.
Cool little build Steve. Looks great so far.
Thanks Gary, stay tuned, the Beach Bunny build is coming up next and then the finale for both of them together.
Awesome awesome build great detailing. Cool vid
Thanks Edgar, stay tuned for the Beach Bunny build then the final of them both.

I can't even get the tires lettered up on my NASCAR😣 lol
@@Stevesscaleworkz4504 It helps that the scale of these kits is larger than 1/25. lol.
LMBO!! So......... true ; )
Wow, this is awesome Steve! The sunburn touch and then the straws at the end is genius

Thanks Ron, I'm working on the Beach Bunny video then the finale.
Great job that would look good on my surf Dio 👍👍👍

I used to go to the Jersey shore and can testify to burning. I'm fair skinned and always forgot to bring lotion with me. Woodie has nothing over me.
That is great work, Steve! I really like what you did with the exhaust pipes. - Jeff
Thanks Jeff, when I saw them on the box art I had to do something to create the look.
Looks awesome Steve, :)
Thanks Tom, it took a lot of seam work and brush painting and took longer than I expected but turned out better than I'd hoped.
@@ModelCarMinion It's definitely worth the effort, looks awesome, :)
Awesome brother

Thanks Big C, they are fun kits, lots of detail brush painting and some seam work.
