This L’Oréal Nude True Match Serum Foundation is my new holy grail. I don’t need a full coverage foundation and I feel this also has amazing buildable coverage. I’m 53 and this doesn’t settle into my pores or wrinkles… and lasts all day.
I keep meaning to try it. Seems like L’Oréal is doing marvelous n foundations. I been using the L’Oréal Lumi and I love how it looks and feel. Just beautiful and no greasy look. A refreshed plump healthy skin! 😍

I've been using the L'Oreal foundation for the past 3 days and I love it. I'm 53 and it's real thin it just makes my skin look super healthy and not wrinkly. This is probably the prettiest foundation I've put on ever.

I just bought this make up today and tried it on the store and got the medium light 5-2 shade. It glides on so smoothly. Even on skin that hasn't been moisturized. I'm 69 years old and I look 10 years younger than all my friends And I mostly hang out with people that are 10 years younger than myself. I want to keep up with staying young so I spent $47 on the bare minerals face make up and it really is beautiful but I just can't bear the thought of spending $47 on make up. So I've been testing various different drugstore make ups and I tried the ELF, it's nice but it's a little too drying for my skin. When I saw the hyaluronic acid on the true match L'Oreal makeup, decided I found the perfect color and I took it home and I am happy with it. I'm not worried about trying this because I use face oil underneath. I have a whole regiment of cleanser, toner, moisturizer, and face oil. You can also use, a face balm by Burt's Bees. The foundation glides on very smoothly and the shade is perfect. Now I can return the bare minerals and get a refund. I'd rather spend $18 than $47 as long as I am getting the same results.
Angie your self tanner looks so natural, with great coverage. It gives long-term wear foundation vibes. You totally can go out without makeup and look beautiful!

I am glad to know that I am not the only one who does not like the Lash Princess. I am good with the back ground noises, it just makes it real (love seeing the dogs). Glad future Angie came back to give more info about the foundation, I was going to buy it but I am a dry skinned person and so I think I will steer clear from it since there are so many others that will work for my skin.

Angie, thanks for the video! Thanks for calling out the alcohol in the L’Oreal True Match Nude foundation. The No7 Serum Concealer also has it. Alcohol or fragrance in makeup products is a dealbreaker for me because I have dry, sensitive skin. So I look very carefully at ingredients. And a shout out to your cute dog!

Great tip on using tape for fallout. Brushing it away never works for me. My base is always too hydrating and everything powder sticks. Love this look Angie. Appreciate you always use a great mix of affordable and luxury on your channel.
Yes I love the honest cream blushes!!! It definitely has a glowy highlighter effect on its own
Need to try them! Similar to Milani baked powder blushes which add a bit of luminous glow. This young n Cream would be a dream on Summer or aging skin.

After seeing your review, I had to run out and get the L'Oreal True Match Nude. I went to 5 stores -Target, Walmart, 2 CVSs, and finally found it at Walgreens. It cost more than I was expecting for a drugstore foundation, but when I dashed home and tried it, I fell in love. Never have I tried such a great drugstore foundation. Skin-like, natural looking and a great color match for me (2-3 Light). Thanks so much for your great product review.

Oh my gosh, thank you for the "future Angie" disclaimer! I was almost ready to buy it when I heard your comment, I have super dry skin, so I don't think I would have been happy with it. Thank you for saving me from yet another failed foundation purchase! I did buy the self tanning serum, the eyebrow pencil & glue, & the IT setting powder. I love Loreal foundations. I will be trying the new one out, great for warmer days. I use the NYX butter gloss and really like it. The color is more staying than the Ulta lip butter.

Not sure if you have ever reviewed the Tarte Maneater mascara but I tried it recently and was impressed. It has the type of short bristled wand you seem to favor. Thanks so much for doing a video of your viewer requests. I am going to give the serum True Match a try.
I've used the No 7 Lift & Luminate Concealer for a few years, awesome stuff. I set it with their Lift & Luminate pressed powder and it stays all day. No breaking up or patchiness. I even dot it on my nose and other areas that need help and don't wear foundation, just spot conceal with that stuff.
The foundation looks phenomenal!!! It makes your skin look fabulous, I'm definitely going to try that one!
the Elf primer and the Loreal serum are exactly what I used today too! I put the tint on with my hands, it looks great and I'm happy not to have to wash a sponge aka makeup dishes lol

You look fabulous Angie…your skin is just fantastic. As far as drugstore eyeliners go, the Epic Wear by NYX is just great…goes on so smoothly, sets in a second, does NOT budge or smudge and has really great pigmentation…I use the brown one all the time and it’s better than most high end liners I’ve tried. Even on the water line, it’s gorgeous.
I bought the true match and blend it with other foundations..LOVE the tape roll idea!!

Your lip color with the blush you used is very flattering. I use a lash comb. Doesn’t do much.
You rarely mention your brows. The colors are dark or blonde on me.

Love your channel! And I agree on the NYX snatchbrow. The only one better I found is Glossier Browflick.

I love drugstore makeup! I am not a big loose powder person because they're messy. I love the No 7 pressed translucent powder. Thanks for the last minute update on the foundation regarding alcohol. I'm a dry girl. It might not work. I must try the new lip liners. Thanks so much!
If you ever do decide to get a loose powder, don't completely remove the sticker that covers the holes in the sifter. Lift the sticker to expose some of the holes, and cut it off at that point. Leave the rest covered. This way you only get a small amount of powder in the lid when you tip it upside down.

The la for the video. When I tried this foundation I thought about you as I felt it very similar to the Canel Velvet we love. I have to apply it with a sponge instead of brush as I normally apply the Chanel one because I saw lots of patches applied with the brush but it could also be because the brush was not cleaned and I had a peeling some weeks ago so with the sponge I avoid the exfoliation the brush could cost me. I’m 32 but I have 99% of the skin concerns you have and same type so I really appreciate your videos. Thank you so much for all the time and money you put on them for us and I hope you continue here ages 🥰
That L'Oreal foundation actually applies best using just your fingers. I think that's even what L'Oreal recommends. I've been using it for a few weeks now and I love it.

Thank you for that tip on how to clean eyeshadow fallout with a tape roll arround your finger! I usually do my eye makeup first to be able to clean-up fallout more easily, but sometimes it's more convenient to do the face first.. I didn't know better tricks than using a ton of translucent powder or sticker guards under the eyes, but I have to give this a try! Thank you for sharing! ^^
As always great video Angie! I purchased the L’Oréal true match serum yesterday and I found it quite drying as you said! I do have quite dry skin so I’ll make sure to alternate it with my other foundations. Such as pity as the finish is beautiful!

Seems L'Oreal came out with a couple new different True Match foundations. In Canada the new True Match foundation is an alcohol free 'super blendable' foundation with hyaluronic acid (vs tinted serum) and comes in a pump bottle identical to the Fresh Wear foundation (except the top and lid are silver and clear vs black and red).
@indigoangel258 Thank you for the information on the Canadian version of the new True Match, what is the pricing running CAD? I live in the US but have friends in CA and if it would be a good potential replacement for the foundation I was using it may be worth looking into. How is the coverage and finish and not sure you could answer, but does it settle in any fine lines? Thanks, Lynn
It could be bc of animal testing regulations. Some countries allow it, others don’t. China requires it 🙀
So while you may buy a product that’s not tested here, it might be selling in China where animal testing is required. Such as IT cosmetics, now owned by Estee Lauder, which sells the product in China, and does do animal testing. This is the case with any cosmetics you buy in us that also sells in china which claims no animal testing

There is L’Oréal true match and true match nude and it contains a lot of alcohol....very drying! Not for dry skin or sensitive skin!

The look you created was beautiful, Angie, and I think I'll give the L'Oeal True Match a try. Since I switched from the Timeless 20% vit C serum to the 10% my skin is in a normal state. (Thank you for telling us about it. I'm using up my 20% on my chest and hands.) The eye shadow (the tape trick is genius!!), cheek products, brow glue and lip products are on my to buy list and I may try the concealer, but I love the Lancome (Thanks for reviewing it!). What I noticed most was how glowingly beautiful you looked at the end of the day after spending the evening with your family.
