My fave is the wet n wild foundation I love that they still kept their price to less than $10 a true drugstore gem! Even Tati loves it too so I know how good it is my holy grail when I am broke!

Maybelline City Bronzer Powder in light rivals my high-end products (undertone and fine powder) and the NYX Wonder Stick in universal light is the perfect neutral undertone for my neutral skin, and it spreads so easily.
The Essence highlighter is amazing, so are the blushes and mascara. I do think you may have linked the wrong one though. You showed the 'The Highlighter' line but the link was for the 'Pure Nude' line. Not being mean just wanted to point it out. We're all human ❤😊😂

I’m 47 and you listed a lot of my holy grail products I love. The L’Oréal serum foundation is my favorite. I find it very similar to Armani Luminous Silk. It’s beautiful on mature skin. I also love NYX can’t stop won’t stop pressed powder. It’s so blurring but not drying or cakey. A good Charlotte Tillbury dupe❤

I also picked up the dermablend flawless creator that you were so thoughtful to answer back to me in the comments a few weeks ago Ms back in an unrelated video. I still have to try it but I used to love that brand to cover up my acne scars on my back when I competed in ballroom competitions.
Yes! Let me know how you like it. OK, so it's REALLY pigmented so I use as a concealer. If it's too pigmentation, just mix with another foundation or a little bit of moisturizer

Finally, someone sharing that the Amazon triangle puffs can be put in the washer and dryer! They clean up perfectly and I've seen people saying, "they're cheap, I just toss them."

Great video, great choices! I used to pay insane amounts of money for makeup (Clé de Eau foundation, Dior, Chanel, Guerlain), but when traveling about a year or two ago, I arrived and realized that my makeup bag was still on my bathroom vanity at home. I went to the drugstore nearby and bought some drugstore makeup - and was blown away at how good most of it was! I now use Revlon Illuminance foundation of L"Oreal Age Perfect foundation, Essence or Milani blushes, L"Oreal eye pencils and mascara and Revlon or L"Oreal lipsticks. I do still have some favorite MAC eyeshadows, and Bobbi Brown shadow sticks, Clinique lipstick, but I am mostly drugstore now, and It's not a cost issue, but a quality issue. I have found that some high end (Looking at you Chanel) are declining in quality, while drugstore has greatly improved in quality.

I love the L'Oreal Freshwear powder foundation, a similar product to the bronzer. It covers beautifully! I don't use it as my regular foundation, but the powder foundation goes on fast and easy, just what I need when I'm headed out the door for a quick errand and don't want a bare face.
I have just discovered e.l.f. Lash Xtend Mascara. It lengthens amazingly!

YES people are sleeping on Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless!! With all the newer foundations at the drugstore, it’s so easy to overlook such an oldie but a goodie!

The --> Loreal Brow Stylist Definer Waterproof Eyebrow Pencil definitively belongs here and the --> Revlon Colorstay lipliners where longevity is concerned although the best texture is from the --> Maybelline Lifter Lip liners. Super creamy and pigmented if they both had a baby it would be perfection. For people not prone to breakouts, the --> Revlon Full cover foundation is amazing, especially if you need overage for an event; super smooth.
I'm a huge fan of the Elf Soft Glam foundation, the L'Oreal Fresh Wear Foundation, and the Wet n Wild Tinted Hydrator. For concealer, the NYX Bare With Me concealer is just as good as any high end product! I also just discovered my holy grail mascara, the Essence Lash Without Limits in brown!
I find Nyx bare with me doesn't stay put as well when sweating as say Dior Forever concealer, but I like it for winter and fall.
I’m so excited you like my Milani eyeliner. I use semi-sweet. Have backups at all times. It does not budge!💄💋
I love the Maybelline matte & poreless! Been using it for years and find myself reaching for it over my high end foundations. I also have 3 of the Essence baked blushes they are phenomenal

I wish drugstore makeup could do a better job of olive undertones. They assume olive is warm green but I’m cool olive and I know I’m not the only one and it’s SO hard to find. Even in higher end. But I understand it would be near impossible to achieve everyone’s undertones. Just about everything else in my makeup drawer is ELF and L’Oréal except my foundation. And my makeup geek palette. I don’t care if it’s 6 years old I will use all of it and never get rid of it 🥹lol
Have you tried NYX serum concealer? I love it and it’s in a little pump tube which I feel like you never see with concealer
I am also cool olive and finally found About Face Foundation in L2 Olive and it’s fantastic! Try it!
Bourjois 123 is foundation who is olivish. good pricepoint (iam in Europe)
I also have a cool olive undertone. I have very fair skin as well. The only brand I've had luck with is Estee Lauder. Drug store brands either make me look pink or orange!! I have to only use super sheer drug store foundation products to make it look okay

I’m not sleeping on the Milani Stay Put liner. I saw a creator that used it and it did last. The Essence blush didn’t work great for me at first but, then I realized it was the top layer that acted weird. Thank you, Marlena

The elf tubing mascara is actually legit. I’m a mascara snob plus I only use cruelty free products so it’s not easy to find great ones. Def suggest it. Nikki uses it too!

It's hard to beat L'Oreal mascara. I've been using it for years too. Every once in a while I'll buy a higher end one but I always go back to L'oreal. I also love Milani products too. Maybelline build a brow is my favorite brow product.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nobody ever talks about the Loreal Voluminous mascara and I love it in blue and plum because I have brown eyes, it really helps with my fine lashes!
I love Milani baked blushes, Wet n Wild highlighter, Wunderbrow mascara, Maybelline fit me powder& Flower Beauty one as well, L'Oreal& Revlon super lustrous lipsticks
Butter glosses really are the best. I also use and love Maybelline matte and poreless. I'm 48 and oily and it's great! Just use a little powder and perfection!❤️

I also love the Loreal True Match Nude Hyaluronic Tinted Serum. The light-medium is the PERFECT color for my skin tone. Lately, I have been loving the Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream. It's a light coverage that evens and smooths out my complexion. I also like Makeup Revolution's Eye Bright Concealer. It provides light coverage, and doesn't cake on my 62 year old dry undereyes.

I prefer revlon color stay over the fit me foundation. It lasts longer, stays matte longer and it doesn’t look cakey like the fit me one.

Colourpop definitely has top quality for affordable pricing. Also, their eyeshadow formula doesn't crease on my oil slick eyelids😅 (yes, I wear primer, and most eyeshadow formulas still crease a bit, but not Colourpop 😅) . Also agreed milani products. I'm really enjoying their antigravity mascara, and their new primer, in the lilac colored tub. That stuff is Amazing, and I don't really wear primers that often. It smoothes out my skin, and blurs pores, to the point that I could almost go without foundation. Speaking of foundation, yes! Maybelline Matte and Poreless, and also their Dewey version are both really nice looking base products. For me, it looks better the longer I wear it. I never thought I could wear lashes, but those look really easy to use, I may have to try them❤

And I buy my pumps from Amazon. I have it for the Maybelline and the L'oreal one with the dropper. Those 2 are my favorite foundations.

Great video-I love good drugstore recommendations! I love the Maybelline Sky High curves mascara in the pink tube that was all over tik tok a few years ago. It is amazing and rivals my Dior Iconic mascara. I also love the L’Oréal Infallible blushes-the pigment is unbelievable! I love their lipsticks, too! So creamy. For bronzer I love the Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer-smooth, pigmented and smells like coconut and vanilla. Thank you for sharing your faves with us! ❤
Love the Sky high mascaras. Only issue is that I need to use micellar water to remove them. Face wash or cleansing oil wont remove them.
Some of my favorite drugstore products are: L’Oreal Infallible Foundation, Maybelline Fit Me powder for on the go, Maybelline Baby Lips, Milani baked blushes, wet and wild brow pencil, Elf pore putty liquid primer, NYX Matte Setting Spray, Wet N Wild Highlighter, Elf liquid eyeshadows, Rimmel Bronzer, Maybelline Colorstay Lip Pencils, NYX Suede Lipstick, NYX lipliners and Essence gel eyeliners.
I love my Wet n Wild highlighters.
My fav drugstore brand is Nicka K brand. It’s a Beauty supply brand. I would like you to do a video on it and try out ❤

I've been using Voluminous mascara for close to 30 (yes, THIRTY) years. I buy others, including Dior, YSL, Lisa Eldridge, Chanel, Lancome, Maybelline, Essence, Tower, Ilia, Thrive, Covergirl...but always return to Voluminous.
I have the Colour Pop Stone Cold pallet and the colors are beautiful but they really are not pigmented and have no staying power. I use foundation underneath and setting spray on top but I just doesn't give me enough. You see these gorgeous colors and you want to use them and all you get is a hint of the color.
The Essence blush is on the Prime sale today and less than $5 ❤

@@MarlenaStell you’re so sweet. I’ve bought many drugstore products, it would be a long list. I feel like they sit on my skin and line my wrinkles. I watch tons of videos and they what different women are doing, but it just doesn’t look right. Even my blush, yes I have many for me, don’t seem to go on right. I can go from barely there to holy smokes that’s a lot of blush with just a slight more😁🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
If it’s one product, it’s the foundations, which I have many.
@@stephaniescofield9433 foundations I would aim to get either cream ones or a lightweight liquid like a serum foundation and the key is using a buffing brush to work the product into the skin so it doesn’t sit on top. For my mature beauties, I always recommend a cream blush as it’s more forgiving to blend and tap on the cheeks with your fingers or a beauty blender

I am 62. What kind of coverage are you looking for? I am in love with the Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream. It's very light coverage, very moisturizing. I feel like it just smooths out my skin tones...very flattering. I use the color medium (my normal foundation color is light/medium cool or neutral.

I would be happy to purchase more drugstore products but I've had so many color fails that I felt I was wasting money. I do like some Milani products and I had the original Joah foundation which was fantastic. I also like the Maybelline Lifter glosses and pencils but I'm very wary of spending more on foundations and powders.

So there’s the pressed powder and the bronzer- both formulas feel the same so either would work as a bronzer. I have both and use both ❤

I'll be doing an update soon :). The website is getting redone, so that's why the silence a bit as I've been working to streamline it and make it more user friendly. Also, I haven't been able to focus on it like I like this year due to my pregnancy complications and miscarriage. But I'll do update in the near future

It does- that's the only thing :( If you are ok spending a bit more for higher end one, that Dior one I showed is really beautiful and is neutral so not warm at all and blends beautifully
If you like the Maybelline more than DB… I don’t know what to say. Have them both and in NO way the Fit Me Matte Poreless is better. I wish I thought so, though! 😅
Try the newest version of double wear- I think they changed it recently as it’s super tacky now and smells. My prior experience with double wear was amazing but now I’m not loving quite as much (still a good one but not my favorite anymore)
I love the classic Revlon Super Lustrous Lipsticks. the other Essence highlighter - the pure nude one, NYX Glitter Glue, Colourpop Gel liner in Honeydude for my waterline, Physcians Formula Butter Glow Concealer (for covering blemishes, creases a little under my eyes), and the Elf O Face lipsticks especially the shade No Doubt. Also love the LA girl lip Ultimate Lip Liners.
My face is like fair light olive cool and then the rest of my body tans easily to like medium tan 😔
I need SPF 200 for the rest of my body because I'm having to match my face to my body 😔. The reason why my face is so light is because I use exfoliant leave on everyday and put retinol on top so now I'm not matching and on top of that I have to use two foundations and blue mixer because I'm a cool olive complexion 😩
This is such a dissatisfaction in my life that I wish I could create the highest SPF ever.
You need to stay in the shade, is what you need to do, and when you go out, wear long sleeves and pants. Keep your hands super sunscreened and off the sunlight!
PS-Lisa Eldridge has light olive foundations that you wouldn't have to mix or use blue drops for. She sells sample packs, too.
Why do some of my eyeshadows stay put with some of my primers? As in they don't blend at all.
Try patting a translucent pressed powder over the primer before applying shadow.
