I am over 70 and tried many high end foundations and the L’Oréal foundation was far outstanding and rose to the top! It goes on smoothly (I have primed my face) blends well, lasted well and looks awesome. I highly recommend.

L’Oréal Le Liner Signature Mechanical Pencil is the best IMO as is Milani Anti Gravity mascara. I will be trying this foundation, it looks so nice on Angie. I appreciate how Angie gets right into her videos and doesn’t have a long drawn out intro. So enjoy her content ❤️

Every time I pass the Chanel #1 display at Ulta I think about how unbelievable that price is, even though I could afford it if I really wanted it. I HAVE worn sunscreen for the last 40 years so I don't have horrible skin its just everything falling south at 66! So it was great to see you test an affordable foundation and like it!!! Thanks !
Hi Angie. I love your brush set. I only wish each brush had a label on it designating it's intended use. I find I have to research what the numbers mean, but honestly, is a pain. I can often tell by the brush head itself, however, it's the nuanced usages that would really benefit from the labels.
I’m sure it’s to late now but there was a card with her brush set and it told you what brush does what. There’s a video of her going through each brush you could go and watch and write down what each one does. I hope that helps. My mom didn’t get a card in her box but I took a copy for her. If you want I could put a copy of it on my IG?
Angie, every time I use your brushes (which is every single day), I say to myself "I've got to leave a comment about how amazing these brushes are!". OMG I'm blown away by these. I'm in my mid 60s, makeup obsessed since age 13, particularly eye shadow, and if I could've designed the perfect eyeshadow brushes, they'd be these brushes which you've already designed and made available to us! They're mature eye perfection. What wrinkles? What patchiness? They are worth every penny and more. These brushes are perfectly sized, firm yet soft. A grand slam! ❤️PS that L'oreal Unlimited mascara is positively incredible, it gives volume and length, doesn't smear or flake, and the tube lasts longer than most other mascaras in my "arsenal". Another fantastic recommendation of yours.
I really agree that you do such a great job of getting into the information, not talking forever beforehand, and your information is very useful. I turn off many others’ videos where they talk forever.
I use Revlon lip colourstay. It's amazing! That colour looks really good on you Angie - nicer than your usual colour if I may be so bold to say, sorry! In fact, this whole makeup look today really looks good. Just shows what can be achieved. I think those lovely BK brushes and your brushes have a lot to do with the look as well.
I cannot live without my Revlon ColorStay lipstick. It addition to my sunscreen, it's one of my holy grails that I never leave the house without applying.

The tip I use for liquid eye liner is to always do your “wrong” eye first (we all have that one eye that is harder to do). Don’t know what it works but it does but I then end up with sister liners rather than cousins 😂 Ps: always enjoy your videos. Are you vlogging the sofa arriving and set up??

Do you feel like the coverage is good? I have some annoying redness that I’m always stuck having to cover with a second product. Hoping to find a one and done foundation product that covers the redness and is good for dry skin.
@@katherinefuller5267 I have eczema so I know redness but I use a colour corrector because I don’t like full coverage-too heavy. So no, this is not a one and done since it’s light to medium coverage. It’s moisturizing, light weight non sticky; those are my criteria.
Such a fun, realistic video! It's always helpful to see that we all have issues putting on makeup sometimes. LOL! It's interesting to see how much more pink the lipstick looks in the natural sunlight than in your studio. I have a few of those Revlon lipsticks and do like them.
I just got this L’Oréal tinted balm foundation and have been LOVING it!! I never wear foundation because I hate how heavy it feels but this one I can’t feel at all and it looks like my skin just more even. Great recommendation!
I bought the Loreal Age Perfect 4 in 1 tinted balm and I love it!!! I also bought the eyeliner stamp. It's going to take some practice. My eyes are pretty hooded so not really sure about the placement. Also, may I add that I loved the finish of the lipstick on you. I am almost 56 and have been wearing matte lipstick s. Weirdly enough they are just more flattering on me as long as I exfoliate lips and keep them hydrated. My lips just look more full and plump.🤷
OMG... I just used the L'Oreal 4 in 1 Tinted Balm last night and my make up was flawless! My skin never looked so good and it looked like I had my make up done by a professional artist. It was amazing! I did get a little shine about 5 hours. in, so I'lll have to play around with the primer and powder, but the foundation was amazing!

I was checking out the Loreal balm, yesterday, at Walmart, and I was having a really hard time deciding between the two shades you used. I didn't buy it yet, but I had decided on the 10, and now I don't know. Maybe I'll have to buy both and use them the way you did. I'm excited that so many "mature" gals are loving this one.
I got this balm a little lighter than I thought I would need (figured I could always warm it up with bronzer). It seemed a bit too dark on the sponge and when first applied, but the color blends in flawlessly and becomes sheer and dewy. It is super natural looking. I love it!

And iv got a Nu face for my 60th birthday on Thursday I can't wait to start using it it's only taken a year of hinting to my hubby lol.
For my skin, Cover Girl Tru Blend is better than anything else I've tried, whether drug store or high-end. I'm 63 with combination skin, all the attendant issues that come with age, as well as rosacea and seborrheic dermatitis. So, I need real coverage, but still want a "natural" look. Tru Blend gives me a soft, even finish, is very easy to blend, whether with a sponge, a brush or fingers, and plays well with concealer, powder, or cream makeup. No problem with settling into creases. Importantly, it doesn't feel heavy or hot, even in summer. With a decent sealing spray (I swear by, of all things, Wet 'n Wild), it holds up very well over the course of even a long day. It's very good quality, and I believe it comes in a lot of shades. I always had problems finding a base that wasn't either too yellow or too pink, too thick or too slidey. I found this in my mid-fiftes, and it's still a great choice for me. It does not have sunscreen. It does have a mild fragrance which could be irritating -- though despite my skin ailments, that has been a problem.
OMG! I laughed so hard with the wing stamp.I think I will give that a hard pass. I do love your brush set. I bought it when it first came out and I use them every single day. Thanks for the discount to BK Beauty. I will have to purchase a smudger and maybe a under eye powder brush. I recently tried the Covergirl Skin Milk Foundation and fell in love with it. I was shocked, as I had used expensive foundations forever. It's nice to see the drugstores are stepping up their game. Thanks for trying all these.

I think my favorite product was the foundation balm… I already have those two in my cart and I love a simple and quick smoothing, lightweight foundation on days where I just want to easy look in the finish on that was absolutely beautiful! Awesome video, thank you! I actually LOVED the eyeliner wing and darker, fuller brow on you! Not that we mature ladies “need” to look younger, but those two items did give you a younger vibe. I’ve overplucked in my past and my brows have really lightened up, so I’ve been experimenting with a bolder brow. It does take some getting used to, but I am kinda liking it!
I have been using Wet & Wild's bare focus Tinted Hydrator. I am a snob when it comes to tinted moisturizers, but since watching your channel and a couple of others I have ventured out to the Drugstore finds (I am now going to try that Loreal tinted Balm). This Wet & Wild has been really amazing. I am 60 in May. I don't wear foundation, haven't in years. I am a tinted moisturizer lover. Laura Mercier was one of my favorites for years. But this Wet and Wild is really good. Not drying and wears well. Its drawback is not a great range of shades. I am hoping that at some point you could do a Laura Mercier full face and include the new tinted moisturizer blush, along with her Caviar sticks. I love the line as well as the Bobbi Brown line. Another that I would love for you to do a full face of is Bobbie Brown's new line (she sold her signature name company), Jones Road Beauty. It's coming to summer and this line is very light and natural. Anyway, thank you for this. Was fun to watch and informative as always.
Based on your recommendations I purchased your Bk brush set and purchased a few for Christmas gifts...for my birthday in December, my husband purchased a couple of foundation and powder brushes from Bk beauty and one of the brush handles split...after 3 months and was not happy that they are made in China....my Elf brushes...foundation and powder have lasted longer.....and wash much better.
I think the new Loreal foundation looks really great on you!! I may give it a try. Also, no matter what eyeliner I try I have always had a problem with it wearing off or transferring where it shouldn't. I so appreciate your suggestions for no budge eyeliner.

I just bought the l'oreal foundation after watching this video!! I would love to see you do a video about "hair that ages you". For example ....trying different wigs with different hair styles and seeing if there are certain cuts colors and styles that are aging. Especially because you are "mature" (I dislike that word) but you look so incredibly young. It would be interesting.
Hey, Angie! Good to hear the sofa is finally coming. As far as drugstore eyeshadows go,I enjoy No7’s formula. It’s creamy, pigmented and blend-able. They’re mature eye-friendly. I have the Blossom trio and the cool-toned 8-pan palette. I like the Maybelline quads as well in Mocha Motion and the soft lilac color. They feel luxe and blend well.
With my eyebrows stamps I find that if you place the stencil and use a stamping motion instead of a dragging motion with the stamp itself the color is more true to what is in the lid and it goes on the brows a little more true to color of what you're looking for. Your videos are amazing and I look forward to them. God bless! The Age Perfect Baum has replaced all others :foundation, BB & CC creams in my arsenal. It’s perfect for this 58 yo dry skin. I highly recommend it.

It's very good quality, and I believe it comes in a lot of shades. I always had problems finding a base that wasn't either too yellow or too pink, too thick or too slidey. I found this in my mid-fiftes, and it's still a great choice for me.
It does not have sunscreen. It does have a mild fragrance which could be irritating -- though despite my skin ailments, that has been a problem.

OMG! I laughed so hard with the wing stamp.I think I will give that a hard pass. I do love your brush set. I bought it when it first came out and I use them every single day. Thanks for the discount to BK Beauty. I will have to purchase a smudger and maybe a under eye powder brush. I recently tried the Covergirl Skin Milk Foundation and fell in love with it. I was shocked, as I had used expensive foundations forever. It's nice to see the drugstores are stepping up their game. Thanks for trying all these.

I think my favorite product was the foundation balm… I already have those two in my cart and I love a simple and quick smoothing, lightweight foundation on days where I just want to easy look in the finish on that was absolutely beautiful! Awesome video, thank you! I actually LOVED the eyeliner wing and darker, fuller brow on you! Not that we mature ladies “need” to look younger, but those two items did give you a younger vibe. I’ve overplucked in my past and my brows have really lightened up, so I’ve been experimenting with a bolder brow. It does take some getting used to, but I am kinda liking it!
How would you compare the Loreal tinted balm compared to the Loreal true match tinted serum foundation???? Which one do you prefer??

I have been using Wet & Wild's bare focus Tinted Hydrator. I am a snob when it comes to tinted moisturizers, but since watching your channel and a couple of others I have ventured out to the Drugstore finds (I am now going to try that Loreal tinted Balm). This Wet & Wild has been really amazing. I am 60 in May. I don't wear foundation, haven't in years. I am a tinted moisturizer lover. Laura Mercier was one of my favorites for years. But this Wet and Wild is really good. Not drying and wears well. Its drawback is not a great range of shades. I am hoping that at some point you could do a Laura Mercier full face and include the new tinted moisturizer blush, along with her Caviar sticks. I love the line as well as the Bobbi Brown line. Another that I would love for you to do a full face of is Bobbie Brown's new line (she sold her signature name company), Jones Road Beauty. It's coming to summer and this line is very light and natural. Anyway, thank you for this. Was fun to watch and informative as always.

Based on your recommendations I purchased your Bk brush set and purchased a few for Christmas gifts...for my birthday in December, my husband purchased a couple of foundation and powder brushes from Bk beauty and one of the brush handles split...after 3 months and was not happy that they are made in China....my Elf brushes...foundation and powder have lasted longer.....and wash much better.
I think the new Loreal foundation looks really great on you!! I may give it a try. Also, no matter what eyeliner I try I have always had a problem with it wearing off or transferring where it shouldn't. I so appreciate your suggestions for no budge eyeliner.

I would love to see you do a video about "hair that ages you". For example ....trying different wigs with different hair styles and seeing if there are certain cuts colors and styles that are aging. Especially because you are "mature" (I dislike that word) but you look so incredibly young. It would be interesting.
You may enjoy Justin Hickox videos. He analyzes hair styles for why they age someone and makes suggestions for improvement.

Hey, Angie! Good to hear the sofa is finally coming. As far as drugstore eyeshadows go,I enjoy No7’s formula. It’s creamy, pigmented and blend-able. They’re mature eye-friendly. I have the Blossom trio and the cool-toned 8-pan palette. I like the Maybelline quads as well in Mocha Motion and the soft lilac color. They feel luxe and blend well.

With my eyebrows stamps I find that if you place the stencil and use a stamping motion instead of a dragging motion with the stamp itself the color is more true to what is in the lid and it goes on the brows a little more true to color of what you're looking for. I always do eyeliner on the harder eye first (for me it's the right eye since I'm right handed). It's easier to match up the easy eye.
