I have a Tesla Model S and that engine looked like a slab of bacon to me. I just want to eat that damn thing!! The power of the Tesla scares me, but that thing would make me pee myself. That thing is gonna kill some people.

Chrysler has always had gear heads in their engineering. It's a shame what happened to them as a company, but Dodge has carried the torch.
Mopar is all engineering, from the fuel injected late 50’s Chrysler 300’s to the Hellephant today, they continue to be out in front.
Look at the Dodge Daytona and the Plymouth Superbird; the 426 Hemi in Richard Petty’s Superbird made 600 horses and went over 200 mph in 1970 and was banned the following year.

I think the part everyone is missing is the 68 Charger and 68 Charger inspired modern Hellcat with the 68 Charger inspired front end. I think they are secretly showing off more than just the Hellelephant engine.
Challenger hellcat has more of a 70 roadrunner front end than 68 Charger

Well take a regular HEMI and apply open exhaust and you will be amazed by the sound.
I used to drive a car carrier in the 1990s. I had delivered a used 1990 Chevelet 1500 with a stock 350 with no mufflers from a auto auction to a used car lot. It sounded like a 500+ hp race truck!

One of my uncles bought a 68 Charger Convertible brand new, red w/white interior, and w/white top. He and one of my cousins drove it from Cali to MO shortly after he got it. I was too young to appreciate what it REALLY was, but knew it was something special.

well i get 11 mpg on my 926 hp supercharged G8, we put a 6.4 when the 6.0 blew up at 198k miles, i can get better mpg just need to tune the fuel system

They hit the nail on the head with ever touch the artist that's designed the car hhmm "car" that's is not correct because to call it just a car seems like calling the Mona Lisa a finger painting "car just does it no justice. IMO the "SuperCharger" is the Mona Lisa of automobiles and to have the "Mona Lisa" of crate engines powering that beast is fitting for sure. Spectacular my friend and my hats off to the artist!!!!
