  • It’s honestly unknowable when man first crafted a boat to get across the water. After all, history is “revising itself” all the time with new artifacts and finds from archaeological sites. But no matter when we started making boats and ships, they have become an integral part of our worlds’ infrastructure. They used to be the main way of getting items across the ocean, and still are in some respects. But they’re also used for transporting people for business or pleasure, are used in the various militaries of the world, and so on. However, while we do use them often, sometimes, people come up with some “weird designs” for them that kind of boggle the mind. So with that being said, allow us to show you the 20 Most Unusual Ships Ever Caught On Camera!

    When you see them from ground level, you see just how massive they are. Arial does not have the same effect. My opinion.
    Great video 😊

    THE "HELICOPTER ships rotors face each other

    The rotor blades would look like they indicate 3 rotate clockwise and 3 counter-clockwise, also no tail rotor to counteract torque from what would be the main rotor and the length of the rotor blades would appear to be too short to be of any apparent benefit.

    The barge with the six steel beams is called a Spud barge. The six steel spuds are lowered to the sea bottom to stabilize the working platform.

    Men invent and build these things lady s so show some gratitude instead of saying men are useless?Rather than pointing your dirty fingers at me point them in the other direction because you also do not see the big picture etc?

    Looking at number 19, the bridge windows give some form of scale, I don't think it is that big!! forget 'photo shopped' people. Seriously, consider how an 'Auto Gyro' works, could the rotor blades when auto rotating offer greater stability and some horizontal propulsion?, if so it's not so daft!!

    The City of Petersberg has a round nose so it can go faster, but what is that speed?

    • @briangodfrey7424
      @briangodfrey7424 День тому

      Yeah, aerodynamic drag isn't that big of a deal below about 30 MPH. And that ship probably goes half of that.

      I don't know what sort of motor/s it has
      It has to move cars across the world, so it would not be a slow tug boat
      It either goes fast, or there is another reason for that weird nose. WHo knows, and Who is not talking :p
