2016 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab - 5.7 Hemi (Review)

Review of 16' dodge ram 1500 with 5.7 hemi engine. Overall it is a good looking truck with some very nice features including stow and go, power sliding rear window, and vocie controls, with just a few downsides such as shift knob, and traction control.

I HATE the rotary shifter.

I’m just curious to know why. is it just something weird to get used to? or does it break or malfunction? I’m about a get a 16 and don’t really know how I feel about it

@@peedonhobo hello, michael, this is michael. my dislike of the rotary shifter is primarily the confusion it causes (me) - the 2 radio controls are round, the 3 climate controls are round, the shifter is round - it is confusing. especially one time when i had only had the truck for a couple of months, and someone tried to back into me, causing me to hurriedly have to shift in reverse, but first wound up increasing the heat and increasing the radio volume. close one. they're nice trucks, but i've also had to replace the abs/cruise control sensor on the left front wheel and now my driver's side window won't auto "power up".

mlminto I totally see it now. I’ve had it for a little over a week now. I think I’m used to the weirdness but my mind still goes blank when I’m backing into a parking spot. I do like how satisfying it is shifting from park to drive then pulling off.

You idiots will get used to the shifter after a while, just like anything else. Always whining about something so little and insignificant. Cant stand spoiled rotten brats. Back in the old days, walking beside covered wagons, it would take you 30 years to get from new york to California. Half of you would DIE on the way. Thered be a whole new group of people that actually complete the trek. Complain much?

Rotary shifter equals 8 speed column shifter equals 6 speed, yeah i choose 8 over 6 any day
