My history teacher had a giant monstera just like that! She named him "Fred". One day some vandals literally burned our school to the ground, and Fred was nothing but a charred stump. In tears, my teacher threw Fred in the trash along with everything else that was destroyed in the fire. The school janitor saw the Stump of Fred in the trash and rescued it. Repotted it, watered it, and some time later, it grew new shoots! In tears of joy now, my teacher accepted Fred back, and my last year at that school I got to watch Fred unfurl new leaf after new leaf as it quickly revived into a thriving new plant! It was an inspirational story for me my whole life, recognizing that even when things look their worst sometimes there is new life still possible.

Girl u need a plant dolly with wheels! I had open heart surgery 3 yrs ago and my upper body strength isn’t what it used to be…I am amazed you got that big beautiful plant back inside and unscathed.

My husband and I were talking about my next plant having to be a monstera, then I saw your video where you went to pick yours up. The same day I went to a store for other yard related items and found my own! (It’s way smaller than yours but my biggest plant so far) I can’t tell you how happy I am to see you starting to make more videos with it. I watched as many as I could from other creators but you make me laugh the most. Can’t wait to see what else is in store!

You should get a little red child wagon that way it’s easy to take your plants in and out when you’re trying to repot them and they’re big like that the wagon small enough to fit through your doors but tough enough to carry huge heavy plants and make it easier on you you can always tip the plants to get them through the doorways if they have tall supports like your new Monstera, which looks beautiful by the way, thank you for the video I put a smile on my face and I really needed it

I can’t wait for you to get into outdoor plants and gardening. That backyard is an empty canvas. You need to grab yourself a mini circular saw. I have the 5.5” one by Ryobi and use it more often then one would think.

I just got a Monstera Deliciosa and I rinsed the whole plant off and all the old soil out the roots repotted, I still haven’t watered and one of my huge leaves turned black on the edge with white spots. I just cut it off and put cinnamon on the wound this morning. Any advice and tips would help!! Idk how it would be root rot because the soil is dry since I repotted it into dry/barely moist soil.
Help ! I just got a monstera deliciosa starter . Just one leaf & beautiful roots. Im a bit paranoid about this plant. What does too much sap mean ? I made my own soil. Cocoa coir, vermiculite,perlite, repotme premium & medium potting mix.I also have them under a grow light. Am I doing something wrong ?

I bought a metal utility rack for my plants and it made my husband finally get rid of the damaged TV so I had room for the lights etc. 😀

I suggest you buy a dolly to move the big plants so you don’t injure your back
