Hi Erik, another great Lima bogie conversion on the Triang Coaches. I do not think it matters that the Lima bogies are different from the origional BR ones on the OO Coaches. The point is they run well and are almost the same height as the Ho Coaches. I like the red and cream Coaches very much, the Maroon Coach just needs a few more the same to make a great train. Hi Paul, these two are my favourite too 🙂 they look so quintessentially British and they seem like naturally weathered. These two had totally stuck wheels and the bogies had a problem too, so they couldn’t run at all. I have two of these longer maroon coaches, I just have to do the conversion of the second one. The quality of these coaches is however less good, they have a very weak construction and the plastic is very thin and not hard enough.
