Hello! It looks quite good, I like it. It is to take into account we usually have to make a little (sometimes not very little) compromise in models world, so if still there's a little gap, very well - better than no gap and lots of derailment! 😁 I do not want to say the derailments don't have their glamour (and it's one of modeler's best teacher, lol)... but anyway, good job! Nice evening, Erik!
Good morning Erik, I sincerely think that the result is the best of what is possible to achieve. When Lima produced these carriages, rudders with extension had not been invented and often they are not even enough because even the buffers must be sprung. My answer is that you did a great job. Thumbs up. Alberto 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😊😊
Hi Erik, closing the gaps between Coaches can be problematic with fixed couplers either Hornby D types and Lima European ones as the are difficult to shorten. I like your system of extending the corridor connectors as a solution to this. Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏
A very good idea, the use of the cable is quite creative. The effect might even be more visible when the coaches are not standing in a curve. Well done, Erik!
Thank you, I'll have to give it a try 👍 with several hundred coaches, buying magnetic close couplers is an expensive job, so will give it a go when I can get to it 👍
@@mangleytown This variant is almost for free 🙂 Look for a flat type of cable. I used glue for PVC tubes, very efficient and strong and much cheaper than modellers glue. I finished it off with Vallejo black paint. It takes 10 to 15 minutes to do one coach. Thanks for watching the video! Cheers 🙋♂️ Erik
вообще каанешно могли бы уже и ближе сцепки делать и соединение резиновое поставить между вагонов в современном мире уже эти модельки смотрятся слишком не актуально 😊
Nice video, Erik. Thumps up. 😀🙋🏻♂️🙋🏻♂️👍

@@valentinsn-ostalgiemodellbahn Hi Valentin, yes, on a straight track the gap is very small. Thanks for watching!
