The West's cringing political cowards make me sick to my soul. How can any group of politicians be so utterly spineless?
Truly heartbreaking and frustrating to listen to 💔
thank you
you're welcome.
Excellent content.
Slava Ukraine 🇺🇦!!!
The free world is in need of leaders with spines. Sack Jake Sullivan and replace with Ben Hodges for a start.
How i agree with every word of the opening interviewee, Keira...WHY OH WHY is the West led by the USA so fearful of Russia losing? Why? It amounts to cowardice in my view.
What is it you don't think the west has done? They have done everything they can , you watch to many movies
In my thinking, the West wants to extend the war long enough to spend Russia dry as we did in the 80s which resulted in the dissolution of the Soviet Union and an internal changing of the guard and I would assume we are working to those ends currently as well. We need the Russian people to overthrow Putin and not rely on a coup or assassination which would result in a massive power vacuum and with all the nukes floating around, we really don't need a completely unstable Russia. These are just my thoughts, I don't have anything to back that up other than it makes sense in my mind.
Great thoughts!
Destabilizing a nuclear armed nation is a very sensitive situation, as Chuck said.

we need to plan for after Putin is deposed. We failed to do that on Irak and Afghanistan. We are good at war but not at the aftermath of war.
Are you good at war though really?
Madness and destruction and suffering for people victims in this crazy war which started a decade ago first for power inside ukraine and than in the war inside its lands

I am so tired of western weakness
It will take generations for the west catch up militarily to Russia, that's why the west has never won a war since ww2
It's sad too, because the US has the capability to destroy the Russian economy today. But they won't target the oil sector with secondary sanctions, lest it affect oil prices in an election year.
It feels like it's Putin's last days in power. I hope he's gone soon.
I am in Russia inflation very bad😒
@@dpelpal 😢I can't imagine. I live in Australia. I'm fortunate.

Yep....his days are numbered....Sadly though, don't expect Russia to have a warm and cuddly leader.......at the most.....less brutal and more rational.

I have to agree, but would not have made the comment myself. Tattoos, piercings and rubber injections are usually indicative of low self esteem. An article in Responsible Statecraft written just before the 2022 invasion of Ukraine criticised American foreign policy. The author was Jack Matlock, a former U.S. ambassador to the Soviet Union, someone who knows his stuff. He writes ″Today we face an avoidable crisis between the United States and Russia that was predictable, willfully precipitated ...‶ According to Matlock ″Vladimir Putin has never threatened to re-absorb the Baltic countries or to claim any of their territories‶ and that ″there would have been no basis for the present crisis if there had been no expansion of the alliance following the end of the Cold War, or if the expansion had occurred in harmony with building a security structure in Europe that included Russia. NATO expansion was the most profound strategic blunder made since the end of the Cold War.‶
In 1997, regarding NATO expansion, Matlock said ″No one is threatening to re-divide Europe‶ then adds ″While there was no reason to enlarge NATO after the Soviet Union recognized and respected the independence of the East European countries, there was even less reason to fear the Russian Federation as a threat‶.
Who to believe. Does Matlock express an honest view which has the interests of his country at heart. Or is he mistaken.
NATO did not expand on the decision in White House and by sending troops to Eastern Europe. NATO expanded by exercising a free will of countries (by vote in parliament or by referendum) who wanted to join NATO block. That is a big difference. Putin concept of expansion of by force, Western concept of expansion is by mutual agreement of the parties involved.
@@marianklein Your comment does not reject the former ambassador's remark that ″NATO expansion was the most profound strategic blunder‶. That assessment is even more evident now that the war in Ukraine has entered a particularly dangerous phase. Mr Matlock also says ″willfully precipitated‶, in other words American/NATO expansion was not malign. The war in Ukraine started because the West was not prepared to establish a security structure in Europe that included Russia. Your reference to expansion by force conveniently overlooks that the United States of America is the most belligerent force on the planet. The invasions carried out by Russia post 1991 I think you'll find are restricted to Russia's neighbours. Not so the West. In international affairs security is of the utmost importance; it is vital if we are going to have any chance of living in peace together. America refused to recognise Russia's legitimate security concerns over an extended period. That attitude was irresponsible to say the least. You speak idealistically of ″exercising a free will of countries‶. Real politics is not like that. Decisions are made by politicians that are not always in the interests of the people they serve, especially, for example, if those politicians are Russophobic or hold some other extreme bias. Based on my reading of history I accept the wilfully precipitated notion expressed by Jack Matlock, there is too much objective evidence to think otherwise. You may disagree with me but the last paragraph of my original comment is food for thought.
Not just missiles. Underwater pipelines, fiber optic cables, aircraft.
Putin is all hollow words and kickbacks

Russia has been a police state since the time of the Tsars. Why would people think the people or government would act differently. The result of the 1917-1920s Revolution was new Tsars. Was Stalin really any worse than Lenin? Was Lenin worse than Ivan IV, Peter or Catherine?
Yes as to Stalin. The Holodomor, the Purges, the gulags, the Moltov-Ribbentrop deal for the dismemberment of Poland, the deportation of the Crimean Tatars, the Katyn Forest massacre, and the general oppression of eastern Europe together brand him as one of the top five evil rulers of all time. The one positive thing that can be said about Lenin is that he was more sympathetic to the minority peoples of the USSR, and less of a chauvinist, than his successor. S
Comparisons between Lenin and Ivan the Terrible, Peter the Great and Catherine are more difficult. However, based on the body count of murdered priests and other Christian believers, I would say that Lenin was worse even than Ivan, and much worse than Peter or Catherine. Ivan's brutality in the massacre of Novgorod (for example) was the work of a madman. If one contrasts the horrors of his reign with the successes of Queen Elizabeth during the same period, one will appreciate the resulting contrasts between the national characters of Britain and ruzzia.
In my opinion this guy has no idea what he is talking about about. Sounds like a talking piece for the mainstream ideals.

Let's see... NATO expanded by two Nations & now the Baltic Sea has turned into NATO's backyard swimming pool... Russia lost fire & commercial control of at least the Western half of the Black Sea... they've lost 8 of the top 9 Russian car manufacturers & the Chinese (& one Korean) took those spots over... Norilsk Nickel is moving an entire copper smelting operation from Russia to China because of sanctions, so they're probably not coming back for Years... they've burned through almost their entire Cold War armory of land equipment... they lost the Black Sea Fleet flagship & a Kilo submarine to an enemy Navy with no boats... & the piéce de resistance, the one that tops it all, the fact that they're probably storing heavy explosives IN A BUILDING THAT ALSO HAS A NUCLEAR REACTOR.
Very smart 🤣👎!
Curiously the Ukrainians rejected weapons without limitation from Australia for years, specifically FA-18s, Taipan helicopters, and now Abrams tanks, and all the while they were in Washington asking for the same weapons but with limitations on their use. No wonder Australia has significantly reduced its support, there’s just so much bulldust that can be tolerated.
?
@@fainitesbarley2245 Ukraine has snubbed billions worth of Australian weapons, then lied that they weren’t up to scratch, then lied that were incompatible while asking Washington for the same but older versions, then lied that Australia refused to give them, then lied that they were never available.
