Just an absolute gem of a song. This man inspired the singers of the 80’s, and beyond, including many synth bands and clearly Morrissey. The sound is timeless.
Eddie Jobson on keys, John Wetton on bass - 3 years before forming the legendary band "U.K." Another key moment in music history. Bryan Ferry certainly had good taste, including in his choice of musicians. Love this song, and Jobson's arrangement (at the age of 19 here!!). Brilliant.
And I say to myself, how come i have loved this band for the last 45 years, and then I go and listen to the best guitarist by the name of phil and I realize just how lucky iam to know what great music truly was !

I always thought this was a widely regarded classic that everyone knew whenever I’d listen to it I just thought it had that quality and assumed everyone had heard it apparently I was wrong but it’s still a classic in my mind 😊

This is from the county life tour, I thank the lord I was able to enjoy this tour when they came to the Santa Monica civic auditorium. Mothers finest was the warm up band which is all I remember but, watching roxy music was an unforgettable experience. So great.
@801liveable Bryan laid-back singing made roxy music a brilliant band. they had a great carreer worl-wide, not so much in the states. but I mostly think it's because Ferry was much more complex for the american people. especially when he put all his make-up in the Roxy era ;-)

Heard this song for the first time tonight. It was playing before and after a show John Mulaney did in LA. Props to him. He’s got good taste.
