Looks pretty much perfect
This is perfect. Couldn’t stand the previous model’s gundam look.
Cosmetically it's more... mature. Whether or not the mechanical changes improved the old issues without adding new ones remains to be seen, I suppose.
Mature !! 😂 🤣 Bro, This Civic looks likes Honda doesnt have any money for the designing team.
@@San-uw1ko Wrong
I like the 10th and 11th generation Type Rs, they have very different design languages but both look very good
8th Gen Type R is the best and last Generation with real VTEC
are there mechanical changes in the engine? I wonder what kind of hp it can make with just ecu tune
clearly you don't know much about the Type-R then seeing as how with just a ktuner and tune you make 380 WHP and 380 WTQ on a stock Type-R
@@brokentradgedy I know very little about the Type R, but thanks. Seems very impressive stock
So cool
which color looked better in person between the red and white?
White by a mile
@@roberttrojan9037 it does seem so but I wonder how it would be in real life
White. Just makes every black and red pops. Red is shinier though
@@0wninguplz to much red everything blends in the seats and emblems.
The greatest Honda Civic ever produced that no one will be able to buy 🤷♂️
Teleprompter looks awesome
I know it’s a big track focused car designed mostly to cut n save weight but I just wish we had an option have 3 seats in the back, or at least put something to cover up those built in cup holders, they look so ugly to me, thats my only complaint otherwise it looks great!
You can buy the Euro spec lower seats which seat 3 vs having cup holders here in the US
I'm the 240th like, look out for a new 240sx Nissan remake from them in the future because of me ✨🕺
Ayyyy let's get it (this will never happen)
I bought the red
It's definitely going to invite comparisons with the 300 bhp Toyota GR Corolla, which is also likely arriving later this year.
Gr corolla is a 3 pot engine not loving that no matter how strong it is once its tuned and beat on it will blow up its just to small of a engine
Type R has more potential, more grip and more room
@@TheFK8Life less grip its fwd.
@@leeengland1748 meanwhile it lapped faster than any other 300hp awd car at the ring - many by a margin of 30+ seconds
The Type R has wider fenders and can fit a 315 up front....you cant do that with a corolla lol
@@TheFK8Life take that with a pinch of salt not all laps times are under equal conditions. I think they stripped it out and rented out the whole ring and had a pro driver. Also remember thats a dry time real world its not always dry.
all i see is an inspiration from audi s5 sportback
I love everything except the rear. The 22 hatch looks very bad imo. Id rather have the Sedan si
The spoiler looks out of place and aftermarket and it has a long front look
Did you get invited?
Seems too tame for a type r. Just like the new integra to me. Trying for luxury performance sedans with a fwd 4 cylinder. It looks like everything else just with exhaust and a wing. Fk8 looked more “race” car to me. But I’ll definitely need to see in person.
Ek9, ep3, fd2 all equally as tame. The fk8 was the only gaudy one
I think Honda went far too conservative with their design this time. Although it can be argued the previous version to the 2023 car was a little too extreme for the target buyer I feel that in this design they have gone too far the other away. Too much luxury styling while trying to “fit in” to the market like the other manufacturers. The Type R needs to look like a sports car and in this regard reflect this in the design language. The 2023 model looks like it has design queues from a 2015 WRX at the front (head lights) and 2009 WRX hatch at the rear (tail lights). Honda you need to keep to what you do best and that is lead the way with innovation and not get influenced by the media. Because Honda is so innovative with their designs quite often people don’t like it at first but then go back years later to realise their design and technologies are well in front of many other manufacturers.
Speak for yourself. This new generation is much sexier. Actual integrated sheet metal quarter panel flares instead of the cheap tacked-on plastic ones from the previous gen? Sign me up!
People here like bland looking cars from factory but then go to the aftermarket and buy wings, spoiler extensions other wheels and many other aftermarket cosmetic parts that go way over factory look
Hopefully there’s a wing delete version. I don’t care how functional it is. It’s embarrassing looking. That thing looks like it came straight from the JC Whitney catalog.
lmfao Sounds like the Type R isnt for you of a functional wing is "embarassing"
all type r wings are functional and generate downforce from about 50km/h
@@SuperSupertube123 yeah I know. But to me it looks horrible which is why I hope a company comes out with something that looks like it actually belongs on the car.
Nothing to see here 🥱...Next
Looks so ugly. We need 2 door not family sedans, no one even uses the back seats anyway.
It's to keep the breeders happy
Can't get a girl huh. I'm sorry keep trying maybe someday you can be a breeder too. Then you'll know what a back seat used for.
@@FATmenDRIVEtrucks Breeders have more money
Type R has been a 4 door+ setup since 2008 and gets faster every generation
@@TheFK8Life would be faster if it was a 2 door though.
“Fastest Ever Civic” still gets smoked by Tesla Model 3 😂🤣😆
Tesla can not do 170mph lol
We should leave Tesla out of this.
Lmao what a horrible comparison we know this kid owns a charger i bet lmao 😜
Tesla cannot take corner while the tire sounds like it's gonna explode
This vs. the Model 3 around the Nurburgring, we both know which would win
boring design
The Same Boring, Obsolete FWD Over hyped Japanese Novelty 🗑️.. For the Money get yourself the new 2023 BMW 240i and call it A Day
Lol what has bmw done besides making more numbered cars 1 series 2 series 3 series lmao good luck with your over heating issues
Lol go count your check engine lights and cry some more buddy
lmfao 240s are trash 80% leased and leaking oil in the driveway
Sadly that's the reality..Type R last year they just don't have the desire to compete with European Vehicles. They R&D team disbanded years ago
@@GoBrand0n lmfao name a 300hp euro that ran a 7:43 at the ring - ill wait lol
10th Gen design is way better. 11 gen looks so cheap and lame design.
lol
