It's history, get over it. I live in Germany, I don't blame the current generations to constantly apologize for the wars, I don't blame the French for Napoleon or the Italians for Rome, nor do I constantly bang on about the British settlers killed by the Boer. And although Britain played a large part in the slave trade and colonialism so did France, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Germany, Holland, Belgium etc etc etc etc. The list is damn near endless. But it was only England that tried to right those wrongs, in 1812 we went to war with the slave trade, we freed slaves from shipping belonging to Portugal Spain and America among others while south Africa damn near kept the same order of things till the 1980s under apparteid, so don't lecture Britain.W⚓
I am an American that lived in England. I had frequented the Hitchen boxing club. The Queen had, as I understand, officiated the Hitchen boxing club. Hitchen was at the time economically disadvantaged. A beautiful and honorable thing to do.
In my formative years, always being in the knowledge of the fact that I had an uncle, my father's only brother living in the UK, meant that I came into contact with certain round coins, adorning the pristine, emaculate and intricate portraiture of Her Majesty the Queen's head. The pound coin (then round) in particular, felt heavy and I would pick it up, as a boy, thriving in the humid life force, nestling amidst the tropical breeze of Bangladesh, and wonder, about a land far away, on the other end of seven oceans and thirteen rivers. A land that had a Queen. To me, that was the United Kingdom that I knew, romanticised and pictured in my mind. A land of possibilities and opportunity, of freedom and prosperity, a land that produces men and women who are known not just for their money, but also for the kindness of their hearts. A land of the good and the great. The Queen was certainly one of them. Many years later, I find myself living in that land of dreams. Amidst the trials and tribulations of life, that dream can sometimes go blurry and start to gather dust under many a machinations of life's manuscripts. The Queen's loss has renewed that romance, that initial love I felt for this land, far away in another corner of the world. It could only have been made possible by the history and legacy that Her Majesty inherited and in turn bestowed upon all, even to me, not knowing how much her presence felt to me and my family. My mother today recalls going to the airport in my hometown of Sylhet, Bangladesh as a schoolgirl in 1983, to get a chance to see Her Majesty visiting. That brought home the extent of this loss and what it meant for many around the world, known and unknown. She was certainly not a prophet, or a politician. She was a symbol of hope and a sense of belonging, that transcended many generations, weaving together history and epochs like a well crafted quilt that brought people of many creeds and cultures together who had all but one thing in common, The Queen.
The queen is dead!,long live the king! She was one of a kind, condolences from your neighbors across the north sea that served with you in Afghanistan. In many respects she felt like my queen as well, same family of our own monarch.

Greatest monarch in modern history
You mean the richest Monarch in history nice work if to can get it ..MADNESS..
Rest in Peace my Majesty you have done Your Tour of Duty to us the Nation 🇬🇧 and the world. You will be sadly missed forever but now you can go in peace and be with your partner in crime Prince Philip up in the heavens (don’t get into to much trouble you two up there lol). Thank you for being our Queen and my Boss for my 8 years Army service. I know you will never be forgotten by us as you served us with flying colours.
God Save Our Beautiful Queen.
I feel so sad alone. I only know one queen
Rest in peace ma'am, God save the king.🇬🇧
I would like to remind anyone who is saddened by the death of "Her Majesty", that she blatantly refused to apologize for the horrors the "precious" United Kingdom committed in the 1899-1902 Anglo-Boer War, including imprisoning people in concentration camps in which 47 thousand civilIan's (27 thousand of whom were Boers) died in agony. Not to mention more recent British atrocities, in the Former Yugoslavia, in Iraq, in Libya and elsewhere:
God bless the Queen!!!
God save the king
So very well done. Thank you.
Rest in Peace.
most beloved monarch no more. pray to God for rest in peace.
Absolutely beautiful 😪
Thank you

That video clip of her playing a game on the ships deck always surprises me when she funky body checks that other lass to try and get a win.
Elizabeth Queen of Canada was deeply loved here. Her favourite horse which she rode while reviewing the troops was given to her by the Royal Canada Mounted Police.
