London Bridge is down. Four small words that changed the course of history, but with the most immense impact. The matriarch of the nation, the foundation stone of stability for so many people, mother and grandmother to her own family. Those four words would trigger unparalleled news coverage. The greatest breaking news headline in 70 years. In a year of unprecedented celebration of historical milestones, the second Elizabethan age has finally drawn to a close. Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II is dead.

4:10 This was 2 days before the Queen's death and she must have known she was at the end of her earthly life, and yet look at that smile on her face. Absolutely radiant. Does that look like someone who is afraid of death, or someone who knows she has made good use of her life and awaits what comes next in joyful anticipation? Her humble and simple Christian faith is inspiring.

This is truly lovely. The way she glanced at George W Bush before she spoke cracked me up. I had never seen that before. We had a lovely monarch and I honestly thought she would never die, which sounds silly because everyone dies eventually but I think like other people, I took it for granted she was there and always would be. 8th September 2022 was certainly a weird day and a jolt to realise nobody is immortal. Even Queen Elizabeth II. Thank you ma'am for your wonderful and long service as our Queen. You will never be forgotten

What exactly did she do tho? What about queen elizabeth the first? What about Victoria, William the conqueror even Henry the eight before he got insane. Just because someone is popular of a media machine doesn’t qualify to any impact or greatness. She did her job and lived luxurious while Britains are financlly struggling while paying for it. Idk doesn’t really sound so great to me

Queen Elizabeth had so much wisdom. She ascended the throne at a time when women were not world leaders anywhere. She bravely took the reins and never looked back. She was a dignified example of female leadership and benevolent authority. She was a wonderful woman and I miss her presence in this world.

Thank you for you support of our late Queen. Ignore the nastiness within UA-cam. Why do these people bother commenting and wasting their time when they have no interest but to cause derision.
I only became a royalist when Harry went rogue, and I did not like being labelled a racist, when I knew that was not true. We have our racists, but the reason we did not like Meghan was due to her character. She was very much welcomed and spoiled when she first appeared, as we were relieved Harry had a life partner.
I found my patriotism when Harry and Meghan lied on Oprah and now defend against the ignorant who like me had not appreciated what we had. I was ignorant I freely admit. Now I feel proud that we have such a history and peiole to protect it.

Wow. I don't mind admitting, every time I watch something like that, my tears flow throughout. In no small way we have her influence and example to thank for the excellent King that we had now - but, what a loss! In that last scene she is surrounded by royal relatives who were born in the Reign of Queen Victoria (l. to r., Princess Marie Louise, [Prince Henry, Duke of Gloucester, the Queen's uncle, squeezing in front of] The Earl of Athlone and Princess Alice, Countess of Athlone,) and then you begin to appreciate the enormity of royal influence her lifetime spanned - no less than ten generations, with family links to half of Europe!

As a Dutch citizen, I knew more about Queen Elizabeth II than I did about the Dutch monarchy. HRH Elizabeth was an iconic person, who was loved the world over. I admired her majesty for her humour, love of animals, dedication to her duties, and most of all her loving smile.

You probably also believe all your taxes go towards them,. If you actually look into the financial set up we as a country greatly benefit while they protect our country’s history. We blow away all countries when it comes to our armed services, even though small. We know how to do a ceremony. The world looks on and we have our commonwealth which is voluntary. Never used to be a royalist as they were just people, even school friends of mine, so never special until I actually looked into their work schedules. So actually I do know what some are like…. And yes some are better than others. Knowing Edward more and he’s someone I respect. Used to be very introverted until drama classes, so it’s good to see him doing so well as Duke of Edinburgh my place of birth.

She certainly is one of the remarkable monarch ever lived. Although her reign has ended, may she watches her kingdom in heaven.

As just a rude American, I have to say, this touched me more deeply than I can truly understand.
Yes, for me, too, Elizabeth II was the only royal I had ever known, an eternal constant.
The woman was a font of wisdom, grace, and humor, a shining example of faith, honor, and duty.
I'm not ashamed to say I was in tears for most of this tribute, and I can't even tell you for sure why.
Except for this: the world is a diminished place without this grand lady in it.
God save King Charles III, may he rule with half the grace and wisdom of his mother, he'll be remembered as a good king and an honorable man.
This was a beautiful tribute to the longest reigning British monarch, may she rest in peace, reunited with her beloved Prince Phillip.

Her last public act. The longest serving monarch welcomes what turns out to be the shortest serving prime minister.
The late Queen set an unbreakable record of 70 years. No matter how long the monarchy lasts no one will last as long as that, that sort of commitment sadly died with the Queen.

I live in the uk and had this weird feeling as i marked my beloved 1940’s 82nd birthday on September 7th 2022. I had met up with Woody.EXE 24 hours before our reign became official and we both weren’t prepared mentally for the role yet. One year into our reign, I became very ill with the rare SPA infection which was nasty and our fans thought their Queen was going to die but i survived it. On the first anniversary of my illness on February 7th, 2024; King Charles was diagnosed with cancer and it set me crying my eyes out because I was ill a year before him. Mine and Woody.EXE’s first 2 years have been absolute hell with the death of Queen Elizabeth II, me his own Queen almost dying in 2023, King Charles and Catherine have cancer in 2024 as we mark the 2nd anniversary of our reign. It’s not the reign we both deserve

Mind you, The Queen was very Scottish, and you needn't blub like a Disney movie if you're of that ilk. As the other poster said, she was taking care of the boys, and that s the measure of the woman.
