I’ve watched you from the first power wagon video… As a parent, I do not have the time to commit to a power wagon project… so watching you is my next option… And watching you reminds me of restoring a 53 Willys when I was in my 20’s. Thanks for sharing your adventure! P.S. I wear a medium.
Just starting my PW resto in Long Beach. 1948. I’m a long way behind you, Jeff, and Jsprag. Using your videos for inspiration! Love the enthusiasm, your willingness to just get after it, and learn as you go. Congrats on the 1st $100!
@@DIYSCOTT It's a 1947. It had been a snow plow at a resort in the San Gabriel Mountains so, although it didn't have much rust, it was really beat up, frame bent up and such. Crazy story... When I was 17, I saw a Power Wagon at a scout camp, thought it was pretty cool and wanted one. Forty three years passed before I actually bought one. I bought it online, from a guy in Detroit and had it hauled home to Southern California. I had been working on it for three years before, one afternoon, I decided to sand down the paint on the door and see if there was a business name on it. It turned out to be the same truck I'd seen at the camp when I was 17!
@@jeffhosford6252 That's incredible. 100% meant to be. I don't have a crazy back story on mine but hopefully my time with it will make one. I did get to meet one of the previous owners who saved it from being parted out at Legacy Classic Trucks and he gave me some parts which was cool
