Thank you. I think this pattern is exactly what I was looking for. I have some fat quarters that a bit larger print that i dont want to cut up too much.
Thank you for sharing! I live in rural New York. I find it very exciting to get ideas from other quilters in the UK and Australia. Your fabrics are similar in the UK, but design motifs in Australia are similar to the aboriginal designs of rock art in the American west.
This is a great block with very little waste. QAYG either in the block or sew 4 blocks together and quilt. I have been on the look for patterns or blocks I can finish my self rather than send to long armer. Thank you
Be careful using the project instructions in the Mrs Quilty box. I got two boxes and found serious errors in both books. Also, if you want quilting quality fabric, this box isn’t for you. They state that the fabric ISN’T quilting quality, but lighter weight.
I bought those fabric and other as well in Shein but not FQ size...I think it was 50 10x8 inches blocks... Fabric quality was very good BTW.. was surprised to see it too..
I'm sorry to hear that. The link to the written instructions and the PDF are in the description field below the video. ( I'd put the link here but I find that Google sometimes strips out links in comments). I'm a bit hard of hearing myself so I tend to turn on the subtitles when I have a problem hearing what is being said in videos on UA-cam.
The 18" is the size of the actual fat quarter ie: 18" x 22". So the cutting instructions are correct in that you will only be using 17" of the fat quarter.
Each block measures - 17" x 20" unfinished and 16" x 19" finished, Sandy. You will find the measurements on the website www.alandacraft.com/2024/07/10/fat-quarter-quilt-tutorial/.
The Quilt size: approx 57″ x 64″. Here is a link to the website where you will find all the information including materials and step by step written instructions, that you may find helpful. www.alandacraft.com/2024/07/10/fat-quarter-quilt-tutorial/
I just received one of the Mrs Quilty boxes to review on my channel and am very grateful to you for posting this information (about Temu) because on checking, the fabric I received is indeed available for a very low price on Temu. There is also a mistake in the first project instructions I have tried to follow. I’m not going to review the product now as I feel I’m being misled by the company.
From what we are hearing from our subscribers the material is indeed available on Temu. And also because of the errors in the book we have also stopped promoting them until they sort these issues out. Having said that, we felt the fabric we received was fine, it sewed well and the quilt turned out great. And I do like the concept of the booklet with the projects and quilting tips.
@@DianeAntoneStudioI ordered some fabric on Temu and it wasn’t cotton. I’m not saying what you saw wasn’t. What I got It was really cheap. Be sure it says 100% cotton

You are most welcome Carol 😊. I know how you feel, I hate the idea of cutting lovely large pints into little bits.
What a gorgeous quilt, made with really nice fat quarters. Thank you for sharing and showing that quilt blocks don’t have to be complicated.❤
I’m so glad you like it 😊
Quick ,cute and easy thank you ❤
This is such a great idea, thank you. I want to use up some fat quarters so that I can get some more! 😂 Great video. Deb x 🤗

Excellent Pamela 😊. I was really happy with how it turned out.

Thank you Connie 😊, happy to hear you like it.
I love the fast simple patterns because I'm in the process of making a quilt for all my kids and grandkids and time is so limited. Thank you!

I guess the name (Mrs Qulty) and the fabric (not quilty quality) is the ultimate oxymoron.
This was very helpful information, thank you for sharing this information. You are not the first person who has said a lot of this.
Thank you for being honest! I don't went to spend my time on inferior materials.
I bought exactly these sets of fabric 4 years ago at amazon. It is a cheap collection of fabrics
Can get same fabric from temu. Not good fabric
Not everyone can afford the high-end quality fabric for all their projects... Especially if doing quilts for charity❤
Does Mrs. Quilty buying fabrics on amazon?
I bought those fabric and other as well in Shein but not FQ size...I think it was 50 10x8 inches blocks...
Fabric quality was very good BTW..
was surprised to see it too..
Looks great. What country is the currency in for the boxes please?
The prices are in USD.
I love the fabric...What is the name/ line of the fabric?
The only information I have is that Mrs Quilty calls it the Graceful Serenity Collection
Where are the PDF directions? I’m hearing impaired and had difficulty understanding your diction.

I always use closed captions. Have you tried that?
Yes, I noticed on block B 11 1/2 and 5 1/2 does not add up to 18 but 17

My mistake. Thank you for clearing that up.

How can this be made as a Baby Quilt?
TEMU has this exact same fabric

Temu does have some of the same but not as nice as what you get with Ms quilty
