this is the kind of meal prep I need more of because I cannot stand eating the same thing day after day and meal prep is always like "make 1000 pounds of rice and freeze it so you can eat it for the next two years" like I want VARIETY. This is perfect! ❤❤
Dude, I’m new to plant based and just found your videos and I gotta say, you are making some of the most creative vegan meals out there. On top of that, this style of meal prep is something I’ve never seen before! While I can usually get myself to finish most of my big meal preps, it can be hard since I live alone and do like variety in what I eat, but until seeing this I thought there was no solution to it. This is really inspiring, keep up the good work!
I love this!!! I need this kind of content. I would be interested in more videos like this with different examples of meals you can make that share a lot of the same ingredients. Thanks for putting this together!!
Just ordered the veggie chopper you recommended! This video is inspiring me to step up my meal prep game. My partner and I love soy curls; I need to check out more of your recipes using them!
The garlic hack I like to use is to smash the clove on the cutting board with the flat side of a knife. The skin comes right off, and the smooshed garlic is a lot easier to mince. 😊
Wow, so inspirational! For the Bolognese, I may suggest some tips to get close to the recipe of my Italian mamma. Prepare in a batch, let's say 2-3 liters, portion, and freeze. On weeknights, defrost in the microwave or pot and add to the boiled pasta. Easy peasy. For the Bolognese, I do the following with great results: chop carrots, onions, celery, and garlic. Pan-fry with abundant olive oil until water is lost from the veggies. Add dried protein chunks (no need to hydrate) and a glass of red wine. Add canned tomato sauce with half of its volume more in water and a leaf of fresh or dried sage. Simmer until the volume of water is gone (1.5 hours), and you are done. Remove sage and garlic. Enjoy!
Happy New Year to you Mr Burger Dude and welcome back... thanks for a wad of good ideas and some great looking recipes! Prepping for weekly meals is a really good idea too... BTW: my wife has asked me to tell you that your burger bun recipe is the best she's tried to date, and now it's usually the only one we use. 👍😃❤
Thank you so much! I often find myself relying on daiya pizzas and ramen throughout the week because i just have no energy to cook 😅 Meal prep videos that I've watched seem very overwhelming to me, but I think that this one might be perfect! I really think that I could manage what you've shown here. Thank you again!
As a video guy, I gotta say, great idea to reverse speed the presenting of the products to camera! :D Never would've thought of that, but actually makes perfect sense when it comes to editing!
So many good ideas here! I just tried the chipotle soy curls recipe for the first time this week and it was so good! Only thing I was disappointed about was the fact that I’ve been sleeping on soy curls all this time! -Cody
Great video! I do the same kind of meal prep but, I do a lot of lunch Buddha bowls, poke bowls and salads. Thanks for the inspiration! Do you do have any good sheet pan recipes you like?
This is the type of video that I love!! Please keep them coming. Just curious - have you tried making the tofu chick'n or soy curl bee'f for a party and kept them warm for a few hours in the slow cooker for people to eat throughout the day? I would love to know if that's a good idea. Thank you soooo much!
Thanks!! I have actually with my chipotle steak but I think it all got eaten within an hour lol, but it should be fine kept warm in a crock pot or slow cooker.
I've just started adding roasted carrots to my sandwiches (the sandwiches are: tofu seasoned like bacon, pickles, and roasted onions on a rye bun). I don't usually love raw carrots, but these add something really special. I just freeze a bunch of roasted vegetables and store them in the freezer so I get to decide what I want in my sandwich each day. I appreciate your recipes!! Have a nice day!
When you mentioned Chef John (I'm assuming from Food Wishes?) that reminded me who your voice reminds me of! Your cadence and inflection kinda sounds like him sometimes and I couldn't for the life of me remember who it was until now
Why did t I think of it before. Thank you. Going to prep tonight. I find myself with tons of food at home but chopping onion, etc every day makes me run to the store
Help....how do u make the fake meat taste like meat..i put fake meat in warm water with the beef bullion ,squeezed it , put it in the pan for a hamburger an it had no taste of beef.just the seasons i put. It doesn't retain any flavor. ?? Its a fake meat product, i even tried the pea protein, same.
TFW ur diverticulitis forces u on a liquids only diet for 3 days and you’re going so insane ur watching random food videos to magically transfer the taste from video to ur stomach

He’s a national treasure.
I’m new to being Vegan and I needed this one. Thank you for sharing!
My mom does this for me when I'm working. So i kust come home grab a few different veggies and then whatever grain and protein. Its so much easier.
I love that you're a "goofy goober" dude. That's just one of the reasons your videos are the best! ☮

Thank you so much! Te quiero mucho Burger Dude
Amazing video! So in-depth and helpful!
I'll definitely start doing that! Usually I spend hours of my Sunday doing meal prep so cooking has become such a drag...
Super video! I really like this idea. Keep them coming.

Loved this! Great job. This is how I like to meal prep as well when I can summon the energy 😂
Perfect day to watch this video for me!! I can go grocery shopping and prep this weekend woohoo!! Thanks for all the great ideas!
Looks so scrumptious! Almost have me sold on meal prep(which I usually hate) BTW, I would have added lemon to the soup.
I did add lemon! I should release the recipe too!
Honest question, but won't storing the veggies in water cause the nutrients to leach out?
Great ideas. Thank you.
Thanks, Burger Dude!
Great tip!
They all look yummy
Great video! I totally enjoyed it.☺️

What the hell? Someone’s finally making vegan meal prep videos?
you are a goofy goober:)
Bummer. I can’t eat any of this because it all has soy. Damn this IBS.
