You know when you eat something for the first time and you laugh a bit uncontrollably because its so damn good?. Thats how I feel when I watch this. Thanks Jiminy!
Last night I meal-prepped 14 of your vegan breakfast burritos. I sit down this morning with a lovely hot one, and see that TBD has uploaded a new video. This is absolutely next on my list.... as soon as my current batch is done, that is. No doubt it will be totally delicious, unlike some other vegan YT'ers your food *actually* tastes as good as it looks.
I’ve been vegetarian for a while but your videos helped me make finally switch to vegan! I always been scared about the dairy substitutes but after cooking some of your recipes I am totally going full vegan!!! Super awesome stuff, keep it up!
In india you can easily say vegetarian as there are so many non profit animal shelters called gaushalas which take milk in a cruelty free manner, and they are bound by religion not to inflict cruelty, keep the babies with their mothers, and allow them to drink the milk first, this is why am vegetarian, but in America it is necessary to be vegan,
I've been digging the Alpha breakfast sandwiches lately for convenience, but they're super expensive. This is an awesome way to get even better flavor with that convenience. Thanks dude!
Your videos have inspired me to start veganizing recipes from my country's burger chains. Screw waiting for their vegan options (promised 4 years ago, still nowhere in sight), I'll just make em myself!
As with most things you recreate, I've actually never had one of these! I'm really excited to try making some after my next grocery trip. I don't have a circle cutter though so they might be heart shaped
I've been pre-making the egg for my bfs breakfast sandwiches because he actually likes to cook the sausage, toast the English muffin or bagel, and then heat up the egg and cheese. I'll only have to make a Just Egg omelet with veggies from the bottle for the week (we don't like their frozen pieces), take a Beyond sausage patty out of the freezer the night before and put in the fridge and he will do the rest in the morning. When I make sandwiches that we're going to eat at that moment, I always add a hash brown to it, we love that extra touch too!
You know....I don't think I have commented on your videos BUT your videos are fantastic...I love them and have made some recipes and they turned out great! Thx 4 great tips and great recipes!!
Looks good, thank you. I like that the ingredients are fairly nutritious and mostly pretty easy to find and don't rely on specific brands of mock meats, etc.
I buy the field roast sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches at whole foods. Those are a great alternative for me since I'm not a fan of breakfast food.
I'm not vegan but I found your channel because my girlfriend is and I like to cook for her. But I've been meal prepping with your TVP patties both to reduce my meat intake and because it's just way cheaper than buying red meat. It looks like nutritionally is about the same as your basic ground chuck but I'm planning on subbing some of that flour with chickpea flour just to have even more of a reason to eat less meat.
Yo! what is that circle gridle called you're cooking on good sir? these look absolutely amazing...been pondering on how to make vegan breakfast sausages and your video popped up on my feed.. never even heard of the gravy master...salute
Love the cook book! I am from europe and really appreciate that you added the amounts in grams an ml! Where do you get mushroom seasoning, or can I make it myself? Thanks a lot 😊
Hey Burger dude, I have tried your recipes and I love them. You stay true to the authenticity of the nationality of the foods. That said, do you have any Texas chili recipes and I’m a Creole gal from Louisiana, do you have any recipes for something like dirty rice? I’d love to try them if you do.
Do you drain off any of the extra broth you used to hydrate the TVP? I usually use big TVP chunks and rehydrate them with broth, but I squeeze out the excess liquid so they won't be soggy and will soak up the other liquid seasonings. Thanks, these look great!
I don’t know how long you’ve been vegan but did you ever have the stacker burger from Burger King? I stopped eating meat 12 years ago but they used to have this burger called the stacker and it had this sweet sauce that was INCREDIBLE and I guess they stopped serving the sauce years ago and I can’t find copycat recipes anywhere or anything to go off of really. Do you have any idea what I’m talking about? I would LOVE to see you recreate the stacker burger with the stacker sauce!! It was one of the only fast food items I ever really used to eat before I stopped eating meat and I’m dying to know how to recreate that sauce.
With the vegan diet when I make my own vegan meat, there are endless options, infinite tastes, unlike real meat there is only one taste. So I can be creative and cook a burger with beetroot and mushroom patty, or any kind of vegetables, beans, grains, creating a brand new taste. It's really fun experimenting.
Hey man, I don’t know if you’re still reading these comments, but just an idea; you should introduce us to a vegan patty melt. They always served them at Freddy’s and many other fast food places. It’s rye bread with two thin beef Patties, grilled onions, and swish cheese, and it’s assembled and then cooked like a grilled cheese
I really couldn't say since it uses a lot of ingredients but small doses of each. But the bases, tofu and tvp are relatively cheap, and that bag of english muffins cost me $2 for 10, so 20 cents per muffin. If I had to guess I would say around $2 per sandwich? Cheaper if you leave out the cheese.
@@TheeBurgerDude cool thanks for the estimate. I have a fully stocked spice kit and quite a bit of tvp so the tofu, cheese, and muffins would be what I would be buying most of the time. I think I'll start doing this.
just curious, I noticed you always use a crepe maker as frying pan, is that just because filming is easier? I would always toss stuff from that thing :D
I finally acquired the exact ingredients to make these this morning and they were phenomenal dude! I don't have a microwave so I just froze extra patties on a baking tray with parchment paper to pull out and fry up. Thank you!
These look awesome! I will have to try it eventually. Just to let you know, JUST Egg is not actually vegan. They tested on animals without reason - same goes for Impossible meat. AFAIK Beyond is in the clear though!
Thank you! Beyond used (might still use) animal product in their taste development. I consider them all vegan because they are working within the constraints of our fucked up food system. This was the article that changed my mind www.lifelongvegan.org/2017/09/should-we-condemn-hampton-creek-and.html
@@TheeBurgerDude Thank you for the article. It is thought provoking for sure. I will have to think a little more on the subject to see where I stand I suppose.
I think this stuff is amazing. I have a request though. You have become super adept at making these fast foody types of meat replacements...but you clearly arent eating burgers every day of the week. I want to see how you eat during the week for real. Could you do some more typical meals? I suspect you might be deploying some of the skills you use on display on this channel but for stuff that is actually healthy or manageable during the week. Can you do one of those?
@@TheeBurgerDude Haha, well I am glad you arent just throwing out tons of food just for YT. I look forward to your stuff! Thanks for taking the time to reply.
Probably nothing I would want to eat 🤪BUT I like your videos and seeing the mushroom seasoning in a lot of your videos I finally bought it and will add it to my dishes. 🙏👍
Ive literally been eating McD's breakfasts for 40+ years and not one McD's from any state that I've been to has had any sort of sauce like this on any product. 😄🤔🤔
Made these last night and had one for breakfast this morning. They were phenomenal.
Nice, glad to hear it!!

I like to add chia seeds they add a binding element (and valuable nutrients) since they get sticky when they get hydrated.
Made the tvp sausage and it turned out great! Thanks for the recipe and great videos!!
Glad you liked it!!
The addition of the hashbrown patty at the end is just *chef's kiss*!
Just got your cook book - can’t wait to try this one! Thanks so much!
These are totally amazing! I love a vegan breakfast sandwich, and the hash brown is a necessary component, fer sure! Awesome, TheeBurgerDude!👏🤩
I never tried it but I did today it’s came out very tasty…another great recipe …
I have been meaning to meal prep for a quite a while now, so I'll save this recipe for when I finally get around to it. Thanks!

I just spent about half an hour doing all of this once I got home from work ❤

Omg that TVP sausage, you’re going to save me so much money! I buy the beyond ones and they’re pricey 😭

Thank you! Not yet but I’d like to make them! I have some chili recipes but not specific to Texas style.
I have made these twice now … absolutely delicious … only issue is that the tvp patties are falling apart … do I need to add more bread crumbs?
Yes, add enough until you can form a patty and toss it back and forth without it falling apart, glad you like them though!
I'm going to make the sausage later today

Perfect pronunciation of "Worcestershire".

No the TVP I used is really small, like mince basically.
Have you ever tried making tzatziki mayo? Mix tzatziki seasoning with mayo.👌🏼
Where does your inspiration come from to make these delicious recipes come from dude? lm staggered by the variety of recipes here ? WOW 😳
Thanks! Mostly from what I used to eat, or if I see something I've never had but want to try, I veganize it!
If I use the folded eggs, should I cook them before freezing the entire sandwich? Thanks!

Can I cook/freeze/nuke hash brown along with the sandwich or is that added after I reheat the sandwich?
