Your Locs are beautiful, I love how full and thick they are. I am 3 years locs too and I absolutely love my locs but the one thing I wish I had was fuller locs...my hair texture is fine and Its never really been full, so I admire people with the full thick locs. Lauren Hill definitely inspired a lot of people to get locs..she was definitely my inspiration.

I think Lauryn Hill was everyone’s loc inspiration lol I decided to get locs in 2003 and it got long over the years but I had to cut some length off. I was sad but I got to do a rebirth of my locs without having to do the big chop. I always wanted thicker hair and I two strand twist my locs, then combined them. I stopped retwisting my locs so often and just leave it to once every 3 weeks after a wash. I love how my locs are now and just enjoying the fullness.
Your locs are just fabulous! I have beads and I make locs jewelry so I just put it in my locs and go. Enjoy playing around with jewelry & beads.

We are texture twins! I have locs at the top of my head that are 2 to 3 times the size of locs in the back despite having similar sized parts during the starter loc phase.

I came to a similar conclusion with shampoos. I tried African black soap, Dr Bronner's Castile Soap, and both left a residue in my locs and on my scalp especially around my hairline. I've stuck to clarifying shampoos ever since. Yes, they're drying, but that's why we moisturize shortly after washing, am I right?
Your hair is so beautiful. Can you do a segment on people who has under 50 locs. I only have 39 locs. I started my loc journey May 2022. Have your counted your locs? I spray mineral water on my hair and peppermint oil.
Hello Amalyah (?), I am not sure I would be the best for that since that is not what I have (have 152 locs) and so would not know much about under 50 locs. I am sure however, there might be content creators sharing that might be more aligned with your personal loc journey ❤️🍀

I was born in Uganda and raised in Denmark. I was often told that my accent was a bit confusing because it is a mesh of many things/accents throughout my upbringing🥲 but thank you for the kind compliment🌻
