  • Last March the US-China trade war entered its sixth year, with the potential of further escalation. Tensions between the US and the EU are also on the rise, as the EU governments raise questions about growing US subsidies and the overall US stance on free trade.
    Are tariffs set to rise further? How to safeguard the benefits of free trade amid rising calls for protectionism? Which room for the G7 to overcome internal divisions on international trade?
    This Roundtable is organized in the context of Think7 which is co-chaired by ISPI.
