Yes! So glad you guys have checked out Death Angel. I knew you'd like their groove. I echo the others that have suggested you listen to something from Act III. I think that album really was setting them up to rise to the next level, but then they had some tragedy and break up for a time. I would suggest one of the thrashy songs like Discontinued (each member has a chance to shine in this song) and one of the acoustic songs. @Lost in Vegas if you want to go further down the rabbit hole check out the band they formed while Death Angel was on hiatus, called The Organization S. F. They were not really thrashy though but had even more groove, while maintaining heavy elements.
Drpwninflames I totally agree. I prolly saw The Organization at least a dozen times when the were together without Mark. I also went to as many Swarm gigs when they started playing with Mark again prior to reforming DA.
Please react to Evile - "Skull" or "Xaraya".. Other great songs to mention are "Decent into Madness" "Tomb" and "Origin Of Oblivion" this band is no joke friends. They are a mix of Metallica and Slayer but still have thier own style and sound and are very high skilled musicians. Dopest Thrash band from UK and i would say that this band is one of the big 4 of modern thrash. Please check them out
I love this shit cuz Im a metalhead for almost 20 years and I've heard of this band forever but never listened to them but 3 min into the song, i went and bought their album. Excited as shit to listen to an entire album from them. Only way I listen to metal, the entire album.
Once again, you guys are long overdue to do some solo Ozzy! NO MORE TEARS. NOW. I could listen to that song every day until I die and it would never get old.
Thanks so much for finally getting to Death Angel, my favorite thrash band. There is so much to appreciate from this band. Check out their newest album!
Death Angel are playing here at the end of next month. I can’t wait. I was never the biggest fan of them when I was a kid and they were starting out, but I appreciate them a LOT more now! The history of the band’s formation is amazing. Look into it if you haven’t already. Anyhow, my friend is like you guys, this isn’t his music scene overall, but I took him twice to see them play live and he’s all about them now! Also, I’ve said this many times, but the frontman, Mark, is probably the best frontman in Metal. He makes eye contact & sings to each person in the audience and makes the concert a very intimate experience where you feel the concert was just for you alone. I’ve not seen that before and I go to a lot of concerts.
Seen these guys at Jimmy's club in New Orleans on the Act III tour..pulled the tour bus right up to the front door. They played for 2 and a half hours in the sweltering humid. One of the guys said "damn it's hot in Louisiana" lol They were sweating to death, the pit was crazy and it was total badassery...best show I've ever seen! Met the guys, got autographs, ran to the store for Dennis Papa to get him some lubricating oil for his bass...I was young, it was awesome!
The original line up of Death Angel were all cousins. Andy, the drummer, was only 14 when they made their first album. While their first album is still my favorite, their third album Act 3 was them at their peak. The instrumental: The Ultra-violence on their first album is one of my favorite instrumentals, right up their with Metallica's as far as I'm concerned.
Sabbath was sort of like the Beatles of Metal: just as pretty much every genre of modern popular music borrows from something the Beatles did first, pretty much every subgenre of metal borrows from something Black Sabbath did first in one way or another, even if the bands in that subgenre don't realize it because they borrowed from Sabbath second- or third-hand.
Love what you both do. Much love! Your curiousity into Metal not only helps introduce it to an larger audience, but give a fair outsider assessment. But, I hope you two can sack up and cover Moonsorrow's Huuto.
@@jasona1000 Tomb is a epic song. Still wouldnt be my first pick imo. If I could introduce the Lost in Vegas bros to Evile i would say listen to: Skull, Xaraya, Tomb in this order. At this point they would be impressed AF and after they should listen to First Blood from the first album.
These guys started out in 1982 they were still in highschool. I followed them since frolock through the park and Act lll . A very underrated band. They were there in the beginning of the thrash metal era.and are still going today.
Testament - Trial By Fire (the 2001 version) dudes! Or... since you like picking an early song and a later song, why not do both versions? 1988 vs 2001. Although I will say that it's pretty much just the production that's different.
Death angel is my favorite thrash band and possibly my favorite metal band of all time. The funny part about how I discovered them is that in high school of like 2016, I was immersing myself in thrash and death metal and I thought to myself, "I bet you theres a band named death angel, that sounds like a textbook metal band name". I listened to their newest album at the time, The Evil Divide, and fell in love with their songs immediately.

It's blasphemous that you haven't attempted Flotsam and Jetsam yet.
I Live You Die
No Place for Disgrace
The Master Sleeps
Dreams of Death
All thrash masterpieces.
Or Metal Shock.
No Place for Disgrace is a badass tune. first 3 albums are all classics.
maybe more fans of the band will see this and give an upvote for a reaction.
Metal Shock it is
We should make them listen to Eleven Blue Egyptians by Jason Becker. Sure it would melt their face.
Echobrain
Please check them out
I love Evile! So many good songs to choose from.
Step closer to 1 mill ever upload u guys deserve it thx for all the new music yall put out to us
You guys should react to the German Big Four: Kreator, Sodom, Destruction and Tankard
Agreed!
When The Ultra Violence came out only two members were old enough to play in the bars and clubs.
loved their album Act III when it came out (1990) but didn't keep up with them over the years.
Same but then six years ago I saw them live again and got back into them.
I love this shit cuz Im a metalhead for almost 20 years and I've heard of this band forever but never listened to them but 3 min into the song, i went and bought their album. Excited as shit to listen to an entire album from them. Only way I listen to metal, the entire album.
Their newer albums are great as well.
This is not a good representation...start with Act III then go Ultra Violence
You can't have Thrash without Sacred Reich!
SURF NICARAGUA!!!!!!!
And Nuclear Assault as well! "Brain Death" is essential!
guitar: *sounds*
ryan: yeah that's hot
Band - Heaven shall burn
Songs - Endezeit, hunters will be hunted, Godiva, downshifter
Once again, you guys are long overdue to do some solo Ozzy! NO MORE TEARS. NOW. I could listen to that song every day until I die and it would never get old.
You can't kill rock and roll...
Grip Inc. - Hostage to Heaven
Thanks so much for finally getting to Death Angel, my favorite thrash band. There is so much to appreciate from this band. Check out their newest album!
Kinda reminds me of Alice in Chains at least the hook
Them Bones era
I’ve not seen that before and I go to a lot of concerts.
yes one of my favorite bands in the thrash genre
"This song sounded to me like they wanted to make money." xD I lauhed out loud! that was funny! I don't care what fans say
"Frolic Through The Park" - that album was unlike anything out at the time, and it ruled. Still does.
absolutely love that album
Was fortunate to open 2 shows for these guys in Phoenix on this album. Great group of guys. Mark is still one of my favorite singers to this day.
Janes Addiction- Three Days
One of best rock songs from 90's
Not thrash but hell yeah let’s do it
You picked my favorite JA song out of so many greats!
Primus- To Defy the Laws of Tradition
The original line up of Death Angel were all cousins. Andy, the drummer, was only 14 when they made their first album. While their first album is still my favorite, their third album Act 3 was them at their peak. The instrumental: The Ultra-violence on their first album is one of my favorite instrumentals, right up their with Metallica's as far as I'm concerned.
Black Sabbath had a lot of influence on a lot of the 80’s hair bands
Sabbath was sort of like the Beatles of Metal: just as pretty much every genre of modern popular music borrows from something the Beatles did first, pretty much every subgenre of metal borrows from something Black Sabbath did first in one way or another, even if the bands in that subgenre don't realize it because they borrowed from Sabbath second- or third-hand.
Love what you both do. Much love! Your curiousity into Metal not only helps introduce it to an larger audience, but give a fair outsider assessment. But, I hope you two can sack up and cover Moonsorrow's Huuto.
Evile - Cult, need to do some modern sounding thrash
Would love to see a Evile reaction, but wouldnt choose Cult as a first pick. Rather hear them react to Skull 😄
@@pasha1877 Naked Sun or perhaps something off the band's first two albums like "We Who Are About To Die" or "Infected Nations."
Think they would lose their minds over Tomb. That song has a lot of variation for the band.
@@jasona1000 Easily my favorite song from them. Also I think "In Memomoriam" would be a good shout.
Now, this is some excellent groove-metal!!!!!! Great reaction!!!!! This is great cruising down the road music!!
That hole album " The Art of Dying" is a masterpiece
Metal Head yes it is
Death - politicians in my eyes! Love you guys!
Death vs Death :D Love both! Great "Documentaries" that *George & Ryan* should checkout for BOTH bands as well.
I cant wait for death metal week
These guys started out in 1982 they were still in highschool. I followed them since frolock through the park and Act lll . A very underrated band. They were there in the beginning of the thrash metal era.and are still going today.
Demolition Hammer - Skull Fracturing Nightmare
Goat City Good call.
George was hilarious in this reaction. Love your guys channel as always.
Act III is a masterpiece boys. You missed a big opportunity there.
Mgla - Exercises in Futility V
As always, dope reaction amigos!
Testament - Trial By Fire (the 2001 version) dudes! Or... since you like picking an early song and a later song, why not do both versions? 1988 vs 2001. Although I will say that it's pretty much just the production that's different.
Another great east bay area band
Ew the remakes are terrible
I'd go with Testaments' ”Over The Wall". Even the "Live in Eindhoven" version is phenomenal.
