King Diamond has been called the man of a thousand voices, and has been called the greatest metal singer in history. Nobody has more range then him. All of his albums are concept albums. He tells ghost stories like Steven King writes horror novels. He also always has really incredible technical musicians in his band. If you guys ever get a chance to see him live go, he sings exactly like this live, no lip syncing, no auto tune.

I love your guy's videos.... Yes, King Diamond's voice does take a bit to get used to hearing, but given the narrative of the song, and understanding and comprehending what he is saying and talking about, I found out long ago, how easy it was to learn to love it. Now I don't hear what I used to dislike about his voice. Now I cannot imagine another voice, or him singing it any different. But yes, an acquired taste for sure. But once you acquire it, it's almost addictive when it comes to this type of music.

Loved that you guys did some King! A favorite from my teens. Very dramatic and cinematic, maybe the most dramatic metal band ever. King is always telling a story and setting a particular mood. Gotta keep that context in mind when listening. And the vocals do grow on you when you listen to it more deeply. VERY difficult to perform correctly. Operatic level skill.

Room 24 by Volbeat is a great song about sleep paralysis that features King Diamond! (Definitely fits their style)
