Thank-you for another lovely video. I stitched the Newborn after it came out many many years ago, i am happy to see the older designs are coming back. Have a wonderful weekend.
I have watched both your finish parade and this video today and have had a lovely time. You are a natural flosstuber and have some beautiful projects. I am looking forward to seeing you at the end of this month and seeing how your stitching has progressed. Happy stitching
Those Hannah Ann Wallace silks are gorgeous 😍 also not sure if someone else already said this but I think the little unidentifiable stick in Dollhouse is a rug beater… I have no idea why I know this. Can’t wait to see your progress over the next month!!
A rug beater! So glad that's not a part of my housekeeping tasks these days; that sounds miserable and disgusting, haha. Thanks for watching, Lauren! :)
Agailn I enjoyed you and your finishes. Seeing what other people are doing gives me inspiration to finish and start new ones. I also stress out over every hair cut. As they say "this too shall pass". Or grow out .......
Hi Cait! I am so enjoying your channel! I would totally be down for either of those SALs with you - you name the date and I’m all in ❤. Thank you for supporting the 2022 Holiday Countdown - I hope you enjoyed it and I think Jacob’s chart would be brilliant in anything from your stash or monochromatic ❤
Thanks so much for watching, Kerri! I had so much fun with the 2022 Countdown. It was my first time using your threads and I'm officially in love! So nice to work with! Yes! As of now, Entwined Hearts is in the lead for SALing - I will keep you posted on a start!! :)
Hi- lots of pretty finishes and wips! I have watched all your flosstubes and I enjoy them. Thank you for sharing! Love your hair! You look great! I am also working on winter rosewood manor! Happy stitching!
Love your videos, so impressed with your lovely work. I have just discovered you and adore your positive spirit. I am fully retired and can’t keep up with your stitching!! Thank you for sharing all the details of your cloth and thread choices.
I just found your channel through a shout out by Jessie Marie Does Stuff, so I’ve been binge watching tonight while I stitch on a Hardanger piece. I just finished Winter Rose Manor in January; such a fun piece! I love all of your projects. You are doing a great job!
Hi Cait, I have enjoyed watching all of your videos so far. I do have Entwined Hearts in my stash and would love to stitch along with you on this one. Your wips and finishes you have showed so far have been beautiful.
So good! Never apologize for the haul. I personally love to see it and my credit card company thanks you. 😂 I love that Little Robin sampler. If a SAL comes together, let me know. I can be ready at a moments notice. I was working on my Carriage House Samplings A Year at HRH while binge watching your videos and I just have to say thank you for a very enjoyable Sunday. 😊 - Jessie
Thanks so much for watching, Jessie! Your videos alway keep me company while I get my stitch on as well :) And yes, I will keep you posted re: Little Robin! I haven't gotten too many takers for a SAL, but I may have just get going anyway...that chart is just too gorgeous not to stitch! :) Take care! - Caitlin
Great video, you have some beautiful Wips. I also love atheism Blue Flower, I stitched her chart Wildflowers after seeing Elizabethanncanstitch show it ! Oh my it’s a beautiful chart and a beautiful verse in the center ! I also enjoy Lauren . I’ll be checking out Marjorie made and Cameron the stitcher. Thanks for sharing these new Flosstubers. Look forward to your next video.
Can't wait to start the Love Bugs SAL. My fabric and floss are a tiny bit delayed due to a little situation with 123 Stitch but I hope to start this weekend. You do such beautiful stitching. And Birdie is adorable!
Hair looks fabulous Caitlyn - although I usually think the same thing when mine is first cut as it is curly so bounces up and looks way too short! Great finishes! I especially loved the Blackberry House. I'm a relatively new Flosstuber based in the UK so come and visit sometime! xx
Hi Cait just wanted to say I’m loving your videos. Your energy, your personality, your projects - it’s all great. Thank you for the shout out with my bag - I’m glad you are enjoying it and I appreciate all the support and love. Can’t wait for the next one ❤
I have a super (I mean embarrassing) small start on Entwining Hearts and I’d love to SAL with you! I have an injury that currently prevents me from stitching much…but by March or April I should be back stitching!! Cornhusker state stitchers did the meet your flosstubers on their very first video…if that helps 😊. You are a natural at this!
Yay! March or April is when I was thinking for a start too. So sorry to hear that you have an injury that is slowing down your stitching! Hope you recover very soon! And thank you, I will check out cornhusker state stitchers! Take care and thanks so much for watching and commenting, Cheryl! :)
You showed so many projects that I have in my collection! Definitely giving me a case of start-itis! Also, I have the Needlework Shop by Brightneedle! I really need to stitch it!!!
You do need to stitch the Needlework Shop! It's just too cute. I found all of the houses in the series last year on Ebay and hope to stitch all 4 of them. I think I'll do Christmas House next... Thanks again for watching!! :)
Hi Cait, I have Entwined Hearts and would love to do a SAL. I have mine kitted with 36 ct Beetroot from Fox and Rabbit. Your BBD is beautiful. Have a great week.
Excellent!! Glad there's some interest in starting this! I'm thinking about a March or April start (though a Valentine's start would have made a lot of sense for this one, but I have too many things to start this month, haha). Ooh, I love Fox and Rabbit fabric, will have to go take a look at Beetroot! Thanks for commenting, Elizabeth!
Love your channel! Hoop suggestion: Morgan. The Museum Stitcher recommended them, and I really like them. I usually use Qsnap’s, but this one keeps my fabric drum tight. TBH, I like these much more than Nurge. I got mine on Amazon.
Another great video! I enjoyed seeing your stitching and recent purchases. The full coverage piece definitely caught my attention! The Love Bug pattern was also new to me. I'm off to check out the New Hampshire Stitcher. If your styles are similar, then I'm sure I'll enjoy her stitches as well!
@@cross_stitch_cait1 You were so right! I just finished watching both of her videos and can definitely see the similarities in style and color palette. Happy stitching!
Awesome finishes and stitching! I also just started a Flosstube and posted my first video last Friday. 😅 You’re doing a great job and seem like a pro already.
Sew and sews recommended your flosstube. As soon as I heard them say you were from MN had to see, and you did not disappoint ! Have you gone to Welcome Stitchery in Blue Earth? Waving from Mankato 😊
Thanks so much for coming over and having a watch! I really appreciate it and I'll have to tell the Sew and Sews thanks for recommending my channel to people! Ah, Mankato - just down the road! :) And no, I have never been to Welcome Stitchery- I think I'll have to take a little road trip this summer!
I absolutely love the prodjects you are working on. They are just beautiful. I always enjoy your flosstube as I stitch. Look forward to your next flosstube 😊
The new hair looks great! I went to middle school in Beaver Dam, so between the Wisconsin talk and the P. Buckley Moss pattern, quite a childhood throwback episode for me; my parents had lots of those prints hanging up. Enjoy your Winter Rose Manor February!
Thank you so very much for the shout out!! So incredibly kind of you 😊 We lived less than an hour from each other when you lived in Wisconsin! How fun would that be to have a close-ish stitching friend?! Yes - Vickie Clayton silks! They are amazing. 🙌🏽 I will definitely be checking out Fern and Gilly, super cute bags! Oh boy, and I will definitely need to go get the mushroom chart from Sprouting Lupine. Flosstube is so dangerous for enabling…. 😂
You're so welcome, Julie! It really is dangerous! I have seriously bought more this month than probably my last 4 months combined, haha. Now I need to hunker down and stitch all the things! :)
Loved this new video, the new hair and the fact that you did a great job on your own project bag ! Some great projects I cannot wait to see progress on. P,ease do not apologize for your haul, I loveeeeee being enabled 😅 thanks for sharing !
haha, oh good! I too love it when people show what they've purchased, but I know some are annoyed. I guess I just have to be authentic - I'm a shopper! haha. Thanks so much for watching!
Another great episode, Caitlyn with beautiful projects and plans. Truly you are a natural in front of a camera! Your hair cut and color look wonderful and it accentuates your pretty green eyes and beautiful smile. Looking forward to future episodes and projects. Suzette
Hi Cait!! I just recently found your channel and have just finished watching all 3 shows. I'm hooked!! I love all of your work, we have similar tastes! AND...I also live in MN, born and raised actually. I live in Mapleton, which is about 20min south of Mankato. My LNS is Welcome Stitchery in Blue Earth. In fact the owner, Justine, is my best friend. Justine and I do a flosstube together called Welcome to WIPs and Sips. If you feel so inclined, please give us a watch! I love your baby Birdie (sp?). I have a Shih Tzu named Suki. Named for Sookie in GG, just different spelling. I am feverishly trying to finish my Summer in Stars Hollow before Spring drops. I'm at about 77%, all I have left is the Jeep, so I should be ok. Please keep the great shows coming!!
Hi Shelly! Thank you so much for your comment - we're neighbors! :) I have heard such lovely things about Welcome Stitchery - I hope to get down there to check it out this summer (or maybe over my spring break!). I just subscribed to your channel and can't wait to watch! I'm counting the days until Spring in Stars Hollow! I can't wait to see what it will look like - BNS has done such a beautiful job with all the little details in these patterns! Take care and let's keep in touch! - Caitlin
Oh my goodness, thank you! I knew it was something different than how it looks but couldn't get there in the video! And I'm a big wine drinker too! lol. Thanks for the help ;)
Hi Caitlin! I started watching you and discovered we have some things in common. I’m a retired middle school counselor and we educators must stick together. 😀 I started a flosstube in January also. Cindys Adventures in Stitching. I’m having a lot of fun and learning a ton along the way. Your WIPS and Finishes are fantastic. I have subscribed and look forward to many more.❤ sending flosstube love your way.
Ooh, thanks for sharing your channel, Cindy! I will head over there and add you to my watchlist! :) And yes, educators unite! Take care and thanks so much for watching!
Good to see you again! I loved seeing all your haul, especially the needle minders from Top Knot - she has the best selection! Using the gradient floss colors for your love bug sal is a genius idea; I can't wait to see how that comes together :) Don't think I've seen the Entwined Hearts pattern before, but it is gorgeous 😍 (I'm also a big fan of an alphabet, so that doesn't hurt LOL.) I hope you have a great stitchy month - stay warm! :)
So much yumminess!! I just love seeing your stitching and what you’re going to stitch! I don’t know where to start!! Our stitching is so similar it’s scary!! And I love how you’re thoughtful and kind to fellow stitchers. It fun to find that circle. I’m close to a finish on Winter Rose Manor, I will focus on a February finish!! Happy stitching!!
Thank you so much for commenting, Dawn! I'm glad to have you here and it's awesome that we have similar stitchy styles :) Let me know when you finish your WRM! :) I can't wait to work on it this month!
Fabulous episode thank you so much! Just loved all of your projects and haul - as with Lauren we have very similar taste. I have just kitted up Pink Sparrow and got the Christmas Dogs pattern from Jingle Ball too. I made a note of your first finish - you’ve done such a lovely job. Looking forward to the next one! Kia ora from New Zealand ❤
Thank you so much! And thanks for the instagram share too :) I just subscribed to your channel and will be excited to watch you start Pink Sparrow - I will be getting started in the next few months! :)
Hi Cait!!! I love your name. My daughters name is Cait too-spelled the same way! Your stitching is beautiful!! That Beatrix Potter piece is 😍! I just got Winter Rose Manor and would love a SAL if you are interested.😉I have a Flosstube and would love for you to watch if you have time-it’s under Mission:Stitch. Happy stitching!! ❤Emi
Thanks so much for watching, Emi! Fun that your daughter and I spell our names the same way - I love it, it's really unique, I think! And yes, get started with WRM and stitch with me this month! I can't wait to continue on with it - it's such a gorgeous chart! Enjoy! :)
So much stitchy goodness! You’ve inspired me to purchase Winter Rose Manor. It is just beautiful. Enjoy the freezing temperatures! We are sweltering down here in Sydney🥵
Ooh, enjoy stitching Winter Rose Manor! I'm glad I could help you make that purchase, haha. I'm looking forward to getting some good progress on it this month. So sorry about the heat! Both ends of the temperature spectrum can be very uncomfortable!!
@@cross_stitch_cait1 the Winter Rose Manor is sold out everywhere here in Australia. Waiting for it to come back in☹️ Looking forward to see what you get up to next floss tube.
Hi Cait. I LOVE your floss tube. I just recently found Blue Flower and love all of the patterns too. I just downloaded the cow as well. Which threads will you use?
There's just so many good Blue Flower patterns, aren't there? Did you see her market releases? The one with all the bunny ears cracks me up! I'm using the Sulky floss pack for the Moo The Merrier, but I'm sure the DMC would be lovely as well!
Thanks, Gemma!! :) I'm definitely getting used to my new hair and liking it better than I was ;) This month I have stitched all but one day! I would say that is not super typical for me. I'm usually stitching about 4-5 days/week most months.
I dont find the Beatrix potter floss you used, what was the name againe?? IT went som quickly 🙏 lots of inspirasjon stunning stitching thank you ❤️ greetings from Gurli in Norway 🇳🇴😍
Thanks so much for watching! The Colour and Cotton thread I'm using on Beatrix is called Cypress Mulch. There's a chance that it is sold out or maybe even a special edition thread - I got it over 6 months ago. A more available thread that is super similar to my color is Classic Color Works Cappuccino - like, almost identical!
Loved this video and seeing all the WIPs. Which sewing machine do you have? I’m thinking about getting one to make bags and finish projects, but I’ve never used one before and I find them intimidating!
Thank you! I have the "Singer 4411 Heavy Duty Sewing Machine". I believe I got it at Joann's. I've used it very minimally, but it did the job! I need to practice some more. I would really like to learn more sewing skills, but there's just not enough hours in the day :)
Great video…still watching but when I watched your first video I had a feeling you were either in mn or wi…lol I moved to Duluth 15 yrs ago and my kids have picked up the accent and I grew up in Ny and have a very different one lol. Anyway can you recommend places to shop ? I finally just got my first two projects but I am so nervous to start. Thanks for sharing your stitching
Lol, when I first watched my video back I was also struck by how thick my accent sounded! When I go home to southern Wisconsin, a lot of my family comments on how I really "talk Minnesota" now! ;) Thanks so much for watching! If you're in the cities, Stitchville USA is a large needlework shop (it's in Minnetonka by Ridgedale mall). Otherwise, I do most of my shopping online on 123 Stitch, Etsy, or Top Knot Stitcher Shop :) Enjoy and happy stitching!
@@cross_stitch_cait1 my mom was was born raised in Brooklyn just roasts me all the time …you sound so Minnesotan lol my youngest is a senior and we go to the cities for sports so I am hoping to get there. I knit, crochet and do card making…. I am just trying to learn. Anyway stay warm it is so freaking cold
Hi Caitlin, lovely finish on Blackberry House ! And Hannah Ann Wallace and Pink Sparrow are in my soon to-do stash. Know your Needleworker Tag is an old tag, I don’t think it is written down anywhere and ppl got the questions off other Flosstubes. I did the tag in my first Flosstube years ago if you’re interested ua-cam.com/video/FyaxykAGcV0/v-deo.html but they’re just generic questions about you. Vikki Clayton had a big hand dyed silks business, stopped dyeing silk floss for 10 years or so? And recently restarted. I love her silks but she doesn’t ship outside US anymore. Don’t ever think you don’t have “enough content “, we’re happy just to see you smiling. Happy Stitching!
Thank you so much for sharing all of that knowledge with me! I so appreciate you taking the time to comment and I will absolutely be checking out your Flosstube!! :)
Your bag looks awesome! I watched your finish video, and if you can make a bag you can make a pillow. Go for it! Message me if you want help with it. 😊
Welcome to FlossTube! Love your enthusiasm and projects 😊😊
Thank you! 😊
Thank-you for another lovely video.
I stitched the Newborn after it came out many many years ago, i am happy to see the older designs are coming back.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Thanks for coming back to watch again, Catherine! Oh, that's so fun that you have The Newborn all stitched up - it really is so pretty! :)
I have watched both your finish parade and this video today and have had a lovely time. You are a natural flosstuber and have some beautiful projects. I am looking forward to seeing you at the end of this month and seeing how your stitching has progressed. Happy stitching
Thank you so much for watching! I've got a new video coming soon! :)
You are so fun to watch! Another great video. I enjoy seeing all your planned projects and haul.
Thank you so much!
It’s in some Jane Austin movies. That’s how I knew it was a rug beater 😆
You stitch the prettiest stuff! 😍
Thanks, girl! :)

Hi Caitlyn, I think the thing next to the broom is a rug beater. Very pretty stitching. Fun watching your video.

Sounds great I will have mine ready to go.
Hi Cait I believe the basket Hanging from the peg is called a tobacco basket for collecting tobacco leaves
Oh thank you! How random!
Cait, that thing next to the broom is a rug beater. They used to take the big carpets outside and beat them with those to get the dust out.
Thank you!!! That tracks! haha.
So good! Never apologize for the haul. I personally love to see it and my credit card company thanks you. 😂

Hi from another MN stitcher! I’m also in the metro area. You stitch such beautiful projects- excited to see your progress on Rosewood Manor! ❤
Thanks so much for watching! We're neighbors! :)
Hi Caitlin! I started watching you and discovered we have some things in common. I’m a retired middle school counselor and we educators must stick together. 😀
I started a flosstube in January also.
Top Knot has the best needle minders! :) Thanks so much for coming back and watching!
Incredible finishes!!!
Also, that floss and fabric for the love bugs is sooooo perfect. I can’t wait to see that come to life 💞✨
Thank you, Marjorie! I'm trying to resist until the 1st! It's hard, haha
Loved the video Caitlin!! Yet another UA-camr I can follow :) 12 dogs of Christmas looks amazing…
Thanks so much, Mary, and glad to have you here! Those dogs really are too cute!
I just finished Hannah Anne Wallace, I didn't use silks though😊
It's such a gorgeous chart! Congrats on your finish!
Just found your channel and enjoyed it. Made sure to subscribe. Love your pieces. I also stitch with q-snaps because I like my fabric tight too.
So glad you found me, Lynn and thanks so much for subscribing! Q-snaps are the best!
@@teone_thestitchingbird Oh no!! I'm so sorry, that's such a bummer. Hoping you get some in stock soon!
Another great video! New hair is looking good and fresh too. Do you manage to stitch most days?
@@cross_stitch_cait1 thank you 👏🥰
Loved this video and seeing all the WIPs.
You stay warm too! It really is awful out there. Glad you're getting into a new craft, it's so much fun :)
I did the tag in my first Flosstube years ago if you’re interested
ua-cam.com/video/FyaxykAGcV0/v-deo.html but they’re just generic questions about you.
Thank you for the encouragement! I think I'm going to give it a go this weekend :)
