I served six years in the Navy aboard a Perry class frigate. Unfortunately all of these massive ships had been retired before I joined. It must have been so awesome to have served onboard one of these.
WW2 Battleships is the top of ship construction art, they are so beautiful to look at and yet still feel powerful even decades later.

It even has the surrender table! Details are so accurate.
Very cool render. I like attention to detail like ammunition for Bofors 40 mm AA guns, rangefinder radar on optical rangefinder tower or wooden deck. Lighting is quite nice also. Soft shadows allow to see all details.

Ładne.. mam również w formie papierowej. Jest jednak mały błąd. Missouri jako jedyny z czwórki miał trochę inną osłonę na dziobie tam gdzie są 20mm orlikony. Nie schodzila ona na pokład po łuku tylko kończyła się pod kontem prostym. Doskonałe widać to na zdjęciach z epoki. Tak pozatym to miodzio! Pozdrawiam

@@robertt4867 all 4 of the Iowa's had max AAguns Iowa had 3 more 20mm &1 less 40mm mount than her sisters , being a flagship .
