I’ve been to the real ship at Hawaii and it’s massive. The builders did a really good job building it to scale and adding a lot of features that are actually on the ship.
I’ve been on one of her sister Iowas, New Jersey, a few times. The attention to detail - and the effort to render so much of it authentically - is spectacular!
Hi, I’m the great granddaughter of Admiral Stuart Shadrick Murray, the captain of the USS Missouri when the Japanese surrendered aboard her - I’d be very very interested in knowing which Lego figure represents my great-grandfather - my family has always enjoyed Lego and being able to point to „our“ own figurine for one of our more well-known ancestors would be absolutely amazing!!
Outstanding result, i must say👌👌👌 As a danish sailor, it makes me proud, to see a huge ship, made of LEGO. I had 2 large boxes of LEGO, when i was a kid. I was spoiled 😄 Thanks for uploading. Cheers from a Viking🇩🇰
Hello Beyond the Brick. I just want to say that I'm from Missouri. This model brings me some honor knowing that I live in the state that this ship is named after.
I got to tour this boat as a child when it was docked at Naval Base Kitsap in Bremerton WA. It was an amazing ship and I'm glad they are keeping it's legacy alive by preserving it in all it's glory. This model is spectacular! WOW!
What an amazing build! Every time I see such masterpieces it makes me both amazed and kind of sad! Sad that LEGO is so F'ing expensive - but also impressed at how creative and talented some builders are, and amazed of the results!
Don't look now, but some Stormtroopers snuck on board your battleship... 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😁 Oh, it's ok. You have a knight on board. Not a Jedi knight, but probably good enough.
So cool that’s like 10000 bricks to build also funfact: a stormtrooper is in the plane on the battleship the stormtrooper is inside the plane in the right
recently i thought to myself "it would be so cool to have a minifigure sized battle ship in a lego city" this video made me realise that's not happening lol, also fantastic model!
And I thought building the official Lego kit Titanic at 9000 pieces was an undertaking. This model at over 600,000 pieces is just gorgeous. I would love to know how much it cost in just the pieces to build the Mighty MO.
have you considered doing a video on how you go about designing and building something like this. have you ever gotten partway into a build and discovered that something will not work i.e. another part of the ship will have to be to big or to small.
Are there plans for some of the smaller parts? One of the 5" mounts would be cool to build as something that would actually fit the average persons home (and budget).
If Brickmania sold this as a kit, it would cost more than the actual USS Missouri
Spot on!!
Well, seeing as the Missouri was around 90 million, I don’t think you’re wrong 😂
It would cost $100 on Temu.
Where would it fit?
@@TheNavyShark and it would be a crappy product made by child laborers, what's your point?

I’m jealous 🙂
I went to the ship to
As a fan of naval warships, this is just too beautiful to look at!
Yes!
Ditto 👍👍👍👍
Yep spot on
People that build these huge mocs amaze me. The amount of planning in the design is just incredible
She’s a beauty, should have done her deck in a brown to represent her teak wood decks.
She had a grey deck during WWII to help camo from above
The brown decking would break it up so that's too much Gray
@@calebvaldecanas8867She and all other US naval ships had Navy blue decks in WWII
I love how historically accurate this ship is. As a huge fan of WW2 naval battles, this is totally awesome.
Man! I could not imagine building a ship this huge, with so many parts!
#awesome

I’ve been waiting for this, glad you guys made it to the Mare Island location! It’s super cool to see 2 Brickmania locations with such massive builds.
I love the Stormtrooper in the float plane.
This is by far, the most awesome Lego model I've ever seen in my life!. Beautiful work!
This is unbelievable! What a beautiful Missouri! I can't even imagine all the time and patience involved. Magnificent!
Love the storm trooper in the plane 😂

Looks like the real ship!! Great build!!!
Spectacular. Does justice to the Great Ship.
Wow, what an amazing build. Incredible detail and accuracy.

This Lego battle ship is awesome.

Mind boggling!!
How beautiful
Wow, huge, beautiful, and detailed.
Mare Island was the first Brinckmania store I went to. Love it!
What scale, more or less, is this beauty? 😍
1/35 scale
Totally blown away ❤️👍
Building a war ship to minifig scale is insane... and amazing!
Absolutely breathtaking! Well done! Thanks for sharing.
One word: Insane!
This is so beautifully accurate! Ive always been a fan of the Mighty-Mo eversince i watched the movie 'Battleship'
What an amazing build!
Every time I see such masterpieces it makes me both amazed and kind of sad!
Sad that LEGO is so F'ing expensive - but also impressed at how creative and talented some builders are, and amazed of the results!
You need to add a Casey Ryback and Jordan Tate mini figures. Under Siege!
That's huuge! I thought that's gonna be RC control of those turrets :D
Nice lego work. If the deck would be brown like the teak wood would be more realistic. The grey bricks shimmer a lot. 👍👍👍🇩🇪
Bro this is sick
Had to search the ship on google, couldn’t remember if i was on it or not, can confirm i’ve been on this beautiful ship! Pearl harbour was amazing!!!!
5:57 Even got the hat right for that one man with a different hat that the others
I actually went to the Missouri in Hawaii. It was awesome and a very large battleship. and this is also very cool it looks like the exact ship
Soo Cool !
WoW
so cool
Slight correction. The WW2 Peace Treaty with Japan was signed in Tokyo Bay, not Hawaii.
At the time of signing, I am pretty sure number 2 turret was rotated slightly.
and Nimintz was an Admiral not a Captain
I like the Unicorn atop the island...
Far out! 👍
Don't look now, but some Stormtroopers snuck on board your battleship... 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😁
Oh, it's ok. You have a knight on board. Not a Jedi knight, but probably good enough.
As a person who’s been on the Missouri this is accurate good job 👍 😊
Yea im just 10 years old and i fall in love whit missouri i have lego and i built it bigger than me but THIS IS A NEW LEVEL OF AWSOMNES ♡♡♡♡♡
RESPECTS. GRATATUDE. Thank u 4 video and explanation. Love what u have done. Regards from DOWN UNDER.
Awesome! Will you do a complete tour?
So cool that’s like 10000 bricks to build also funfact: a stormtrooper is in the plane on the battleship the stormtrooper is inside the plane in the right
Correction, you said "Captain", Chester W. Nimitz was the Fleet Admiral, whole 5 grades above Captain.
It's really great! I'm history fan.
すご😮
ミズーリだね
Does it have a Casey Ryback figure in the Galley?
Nice!
It not capt Nimitz ihe was an admiral Nimitz
Also the Japanese surrender was not signed in Hawai .
Any thoughts of one day including the ship structures below the waterline?
A small correction, it wasn't a treaty but the ratification of unconditional surrender.
Yes! Thank you, nice guy, but he's GOT to get his history Right.
おおぉーーーっ!
すげぇーーーっ!
recently i thought to myself "it would be so cool to have a minifigure sized battle ship in a lego city"
this video made me realise that's not happening lol, also fantastic model!
I'd love to see a lego recreation of Le Chateau de Versailles.
Right.
Really big baby)
my great grandfather was one of the officers on the Missouri during the Japanese surrender
Lego should totally put out more production items related to weapons and warfare.
Neat, Time to level up and play a survival builders! imagine what you can build in something like empyrion
Sweet
that’s Admiral Nimitz.
Should see the size of the bath it’s going in !
So proud of you, Connor! You've come a long way from our garage! :)
Amazing- next you need to do a Ted talk on where you get so much patience!
And I thought building the official Lego kit Titanic at 9000 pieces was an undertaking. This model at over 600,000 pieces is just gorgeous. I would love to know how much it cost in just the pieces to build the Mighty MO.
*holy guacamole that is huge*
Are the Steven Seagal and Taylor Kitsch minifigures there?
Oh the USS.Missouri
Not Hawai but Tokio Bay was it signed
Even in the world of warship game, if you have a missouri ship, that signed desk chair is there.
I noticed another Easter Egg, the pilot of the scout plane is a Star Wars Stormtrooper.
Thats incredible. Im 39 years old, and i want to play with it! Is that bad? Lol
Ah mighty mo the very ship that star'd in battleship
RAPAZ, FEITO COM LEGO VERDADEIRA OBRA DE ARTE. PARABÉNS 🇺🇸🇧🇷

wow
I want Lego to make a set like this in the scale of the Titanic set that they made.
Lego please make a 6,000 pieces scale down version for us to buy 😆
B I G T O Y
Are there plans for some of the smaller parts? One of the 5" mounts would be cool to build as something that would actually fit the average persons home (and budget).
I wonder, does it include detailed interiors or just support structures?
Are the pieces glued together or just Lego clipped?
Fun fact: If anyone ever made a minifig-scale Hindenburg airship it would be just a little shorter than this.
W O W
Beutiful
I wonder if it floats
Attention to detail - including Cher
I wish i had this much lego piece then i can build USS Wisconsin
Will this ever become a set that the public can buy?
I have a small model that looks exactly like that ship they builded
Is it properly scaled?
They signed the treaty in Tokyo bay, not Hawaii.
The Queen Mary in California has a Lego of itself as well.
That is a thing of beauty how much would she cost as i would love to get one
