I believe Mathews bows run 3/8" to 1/2" long so you'll probably run 28-1/2" draw length like you wanted. I got "J" mods (27-1/2") to get 28" draw on mine. draw boards come in handy for measuring.
Dre Sted agreed that it does not change the “mechanical” length of the draw and it only changes the distance of your anchor. That being said if your d loop is 1” vs 1/2” it will certainly changes how far your arm/release travels which translates to overall draw length feel.
Found it pretty easy to get any mod from my local dealer in the past. Mods never came with the string stop when I've bought them previously. Has Mathews changed their practice?
Ross Ragan getting mods is not a problem but finding that specific draw length was needle in a haystack at the time. Not sure about the stops but I know all CCC’s are designed this way.
That's a helpful video. I might want to swap out mine too. But in my case I've been told I"m running my draw length too short. So how do you like the Traverse? I have the H32 6 , Triax and Vertix. I love them all. I might sell the Triax since it's so close to the Vertix in performance.
Donovan Stockton I tried the halon 32 6” and the triax as well but the 33” ata was the selling point as I hunt from a rather large set of tree stands so no need for a short bow. Also I wanted to get into 3D shooting a bit and it offered some more forgiveness in the accuracy. String angle, and brace height were an added forgiveness factor after the fact. Love it.
Traverse doesn’t have switch weight cams like the triax. Cams only adjust draw length and let off on this model. You’ll need to adjust at limb bolts. I crank mine down and mark them with a sharpie, turn according to manual so you don’t go too far out. That would be catastrophic for your bow.
Mathews Triax well then I should sit happily at my 28ish draw length and perhaps a bit over. It will definitely be better than a full inch over. I’ll do my best not to paint the riser with loctite.
Hoytshooter 1990 in silence not particularly but in vibration yes. The bow is already very quiet but the savers did make a difference in hand vibration. Cheaper than the harmonic savers too.
Hoytshooter 1990 well I bought my bow Bowhunter Plus in Amsterdam NY and they gave it to me so I assume they come with the bow like a Hoyt would. They have a stack of these Grey ones.

Yup right on the money 28 ⅜ with new gas strings. Good for me

Can you change the draw weight on Traverse? (not touching the limb bolts)
If it's only by the limb bolts, is it recommended to touch them?

Just 1 turn of the limb bolts makes huge difference. I didn't do more.
The CC2 modules run a 1/2 inch long. Don't get any loctight on your bow. It will eat you finish.

I noticed you put the limbsaver on your limbs down you notice any difference
