You guys read my mind w/ that motor build. You guys truly got something unique right there! I love the triple 40 I've had...been on 3 other bikes...re-built 3 times because the (only flaw) which is the wristpin retainer clips. However with a perfectly sized stainless steel spring cut into a "C" that can be tightly pressed into place actually solves the only flaw that has ever plague my builds within a month's time or less. As of now my new build is reliable, and can still do 42 m.p.h. minimal mods, including a few you guys would question me about yet work. I'll post a pick of her on the UA-cam club y'all have w/ description, and explained mods. I wan't to know your thought's. Again that build right there......is insane on another level like a 4-rotor Wankel that "Rod Dahm" engineered, and is trying to perfect.
I put bikes together in my small town lookin for a few tricks of the trade. They love these bikes but i cant keep them in stock can any one give me some pointers. I want to start using Zeda engines. Bilt them all last summer going to start documenting thess builds.
My favorite part is that they utilize larger diameter 8mm mounting studs for securing the motor to the bike frame so rigidly....it begs you to try, and prove it won't. Here is one pointer...familiarize with every aspect of these bicycle motors in, and out engineering wise....you'll be better off.
Your build is really cool. How did you guys connect the cranks and also was the additional power through the clutch a problem or did you have a separate clutch for each engine with the cable or clutch arm connected?
Lookin goid lookin good. Im planning on ordering a motor from you in about a month. Need something with torque and sleeved for durability. Gonna ride from missouri to florida as soon as i can. Much love bro lookin forward to rippin one of your motors!!
@The Bushwacker Because this little shit may easily go over 70 mph, and accelerate to it in mere seconds. Bicycle frame and wheels are just not rigid and sturdy enough to handle forces generated with all that power, they deform and wobble and wont provide decent course stability. Its not what it looks like. Falls and collisions hurt at such speeds. You better use the strongest parts you can obtain and never ride it at full throttle outside of racing tracks.
@@st.paulmn9159 it still the classification of a bicycle tho. It is just gas assisted. The type of engine makes no difference of whether it is a motorcycle or motored bicycle. If he deleted the pedals for feet posts then it would be a motorcycle, but since the pedals are still intact and functioning, it is still originally a bicycle. You can technically call it either because it is either, however it still is a gas assisted bicycle and not actually a motorcycle, originally it would now be a motorcycle but we don't live in that era of time. The frame is made for engines but was created as bicycle first so was made to be a bicycle first lol
@@ЧунгаЧанга-м5ь check out my bike that goes 45 lol, then you'd maybe change your mind about this one being "dAngEr0uS" This aint no Walmart cruiser that goes 70 mph, this bike is built for 70 mph.

How's this holding up?!?! Is tha the F-Zeros frame? What fork are you using? It looks like the stock fork on an F-zero but has a longer stems so you can use a regular bicycle handle bar and headset... I was wondering if it was a different fork or if you used an extender
yo I love the bike, I think the only thing holding you from higher speeds is aero drag theres a guy who went 89mph just by pedal power alone. BUT the bike had an aerodynamic shell. maybe you could do something like that since you have access to machine shops
In my experience you can run most of these tiny carbs at just about any angle, especially the NT carbs. I've ran those at like 60 degree angle without any issues
Nah, the main jet intake in these is positioned at the very bottom of the floater chamber. The worse problem is that when the chamber is not standing upright, fuel level cut off shall be adjusted, or else it will be prone to fuel overfilling and leaks. It is also very sensitive to dirt and rust flakes in the line clogging its tender cut off valve.
@@ЧунгаЧанга-м5ь do you think that could be the reason for an engine to die after a bit of running full throttle/top speed? I don't know if it's a flow issue, or some other kind of bottlenecking, but I have that issue with one of my bikes. It runs great otherwise, but after about 3 minutes of WOT it just dies and I need to crank it over a bunch before it'll fire back up.
@@shithead it may happen due to many reasons, overheating for example. But if its because of low level of the fuel, you can just bend the inner clamp up a bit so the valve will close later and level will be higher. Generally, the higher it is, the richer your engine will run. You can also have a thin, clogged or air pocketed fuel line, that just does not let through enough fuel on the max rpm, so engine just eats up what is available, goes lean, loses power and stops.
@@ЧунгаЧанга-м5ь thanks for the reply. I have a new carb coming in the mail, so we'll see if that fixes the problem. I don't think it's an overheating issue because I only ride when it's really cold (-15c or lower). The only fun I have on these things anymore is drifting around on the ice/snow. They're too slow to get a thrill after owning a ducati.
