- I had a lot of people asking me about the magneto! How can you run two pistons not in same positions? I keep saying dual magneto and it seems not many get what I'm saying lol........ So here yeah go!
History of this was! I tried this setup a while back. Not for this purpose but for to run a second coil for lights! It worked perfectly fine if you want to run the dimmest bulb you can find LOL Which later Evolved into this crazy monster of a project! • Motorized bicycle Engi...
So this setup works really well also because! the magnet are 100% in opposite orientations by default cause of the poles! granted the one is off by 3.5 degrees from other and slight run fix that! But whole thing works out perfectly for this use as well. already got the how to do it part figured out from the light power builds!
I also talked about bevel gear (AKA Engine Pinion gear) why mine last so long compared to most that constantly cry about them turning to dust! I had 6 of these custom made by a guy that does nothing but Cut Tungsten steel all day long for last 30 years! How they do it and such I have no idea! The guys shop has all kinds crazy tools though just designed to cut Tungsten carbide all day long!

A.m.b garage is a cool guy he has very custom unique builds! Though the challenge of weird build is my fun more then riding! 😆

Really nice! Looking to do pretty much the same thing but just need to figure out how many degrees each cylinder should be off from one another? Seems like they should be 180 apart but you say yours is 3.5 so I really don't know? Maybe you could shed some light on that for me? It would be greatly appreciated!
183.5 if you don't off set them a bit it won't turn over

Ive gotta say i e always wondered why i dont see more peiple finding out wich side is posotive and witch side is negative then demagnetize the magneto magnet so you can drill and epoxy your own much stronger neo magnets and for the gears it all depends on the tools available most machine shops have tooling to cut gear teeth with relitive eaze so you can realy exapect to get one made of almost any material and anouther thing ive wondered is im suprised i dont see more people trying to figur out a wet clutch to both help with power delivery longevity and lubercating the crank/clutch gear
Magnet is just plates pressed together with one permanent magnet on one side. The magnet inside is a neodymium magnet. 8mm round 3mm thick one. I took one apart a while back. There is a guy by the name of (tan boy) I think his name is on UA-cam. He is currently making a wet clutch actually.
A dual engine rig was going to be my next project, if I ever get back into them anyway, but I have been thinking about that exact magneto setup, except I was thinking of just making the outer magnet thinner and using a battery, instead of extending the crank like you did, (it's always good to have options), lol, have you tried insulating them from each-other any?, and why aren't ya posting video's of that beast running? awesome work!👍, thanks for sharing.
It runs fine. Just ti much for a bicycle frame. Going on mi I bike soon. I cant weld with my seizures. So kinda killing my project ts at the moment. Just spent 6 days in icu

Makes it easier to turn over off set of the two main compression/ vacuum states

Oh runs perfectly fine lol long time ago! Just been sick never did any videos on it yet. Been tested on dyno 3 weeks ago actually. Only oddly puts out 18hp which was a lot lower then would of expected. Thinking its cause of exhaust pipes it had on it.
Considering a Honda nighthawk 250 makes 18 HP, you're doing very well lol
