- First time hearing System of a Down in their song Questions. System of a Down is soooo good. I just cannot believe it. My son claims that they are one of his favorite bands and also claims that he listened to them all the time in his room when he was young and living in our house. But, I completely tuned out his music because it was just noise coming through the walls.
I wish so bad I would have really listened to them. But you know how that goes as a father.
It doesn't matter now, because I can download them and listen to them in my sports car with the top down cruising down the highway or back roads going 120 MPH.
That is what I am talking about!

She was able to pick up on the influence of a non-english language in the vocals. Color me impressed!
They are of Armenian decent, and their songs are mostly about the government, drugs, and other things in that group of topics. Very powerful lyrics, music, and performance over all. Absolutely legendary transitions, and just one of a kind.
This songs about reincarnation
@notaidan5278 I love now little to no reactors have figured that out. Lol I watched them in concert and they had to say it just for people to know.
My fave song by SOAD, there's so much musical diversity here, key/rhythm/tempo changes, and gorgeous harmonies and slammin' metal.
Question, Revenga, and Lost in Hollywood.
abdominalsofreakinlutely, mate!
Agreed!
Daron and Serj's voices are so beautiful I get lost every time I hear this song ❤️
Man, honestly, I like your reactions I think more than others for a while. Keep going
SOAD is a band that made me who I am. Firstly, I think we can be good persons listening to them
And yes, they are from another country (roots) - Armenia. Maybe you can catch something in their music - oriental or mediterranean
My new favorite reaction channel, you are the best, I LOVE YOU DUDE. We need more System of a Down music! And you’re the only channel who actually breaks down the lyrics, that’s why you are the best
Thank you so much....it is what old people do. We actually listen to lyrics...Lol...I appreciate you!
Such a shame they split up. One of those rare bands that cracked the mainstream with a unique sound and stayed relevant till they quit on their own terms.
More people in this world need to be like this dude. Only video I have seen of yours but I think if more people had your energy the world would be a better place.
Love the reactions guys, you absolutely have to hear these 2 songs from them know and war? the lyrics and music are so powerful plus it's from their first album which is incredibly slept on and i would love to have your take on their "original sound" i guess? haha. Btw they're of armenian origins but mostly born and raised in California.
SOAD & Korn were such iconic bands for me growing up! Both produce amazing messages. I recommend Korn as a band for you to listen to, very very deep lyrics!
🤘🏽🤘🏽❤💥
More System Of A Down please )
Omg your reaction was so funnyyyyy! 😂 ❤
SOAD never disappoint! I'm enjoying ur reactions and guests a lot, keep it rolling
love your content guys
My favorite one from System of a Down is Deer Dance. Their lyrics are sometimes layered, but they usually have a great idea/message in their songs. Plus, as you note, their instrumentation and arrangement is just.... awesome. Controlled chaos is great.
System😍😍 my favorite Band! they're actually from armenian heritage
One of my fav songs by them, so please with your reactions 🥰
The lead singer Serj lived in Armenia until he was 7 so he does have a little bit of an accent. They’re fantastic.
Shavo, not Serj
@@qandak No, definitely Serj…
@@takeyourheart3030 Is it so damn hard to read their biography before arguing??
serj, shavo and daron, family armenia@@qandak
Old guy gets it! Big ol smile! Right on!! 😁❤️❤️❤️

Awesome video and song as always, love your enthusiasm and thoughtful comments. would love for you to check out more music from twenty one pilots like My Blood or Ode to Sleep.
John Dolmayan is such an underrated drummer.
He is the best
They are from Armania
They are all Armenian.
indeed, "Controlled Chaos" suits them IMHO 😎👍🏻
SOAAAAAADDD
❤❤😂 awesome
You both need to do Jinjer. Or alone, because there is a lot to catch up on. Ukrainian hardcore metal band. My favorite for the past few years. They are actually from around the Donbass region that is now under Russian control.
Love
They're from LA
They play metal but uses also traditional Armenian folk music elements in it.
She looks like Wendy Byrde from Ozark
Do we accept or deny
More likes for these guys please
Nice, can you react sugar and needles too, please❣️
Please react soad-cigaro
Cigaro is so good......
"which are the questions you'd ask if you're dropping acid"
LOL?
They are Armenians though
Please react to just look up and Jason’s song (gave it away) by Ariana grande
They are Armenian
The 0 believes
🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲 All members of this group are Armenians by nationality 🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲
Not exactly true. Serj and John (drums) were born in Lebanon, Shavo (bass) was born in Armenia, and Daron and Ontronik (original drummer for the band 94-97) were born in LA, USA. So technically, Daron and the original drummer are AMERICAN by nationality, and are Armenian by ETHNICITY. There's a difference between those two things. If we are getting REALLY technical, since some of them were born in other countries but all of them then moved to the US to grow up here, they most likely became American citizens and therefore have American nationality! Lol.
