Not gonna lie these are actually great especially for my old man hands.
Mine too! I love them.
I've been using thermal 5-finger gloves for a few years, grip is excellent and if there is any loss of control it's minimal. Of course I'm a recreational player, so may be different for high level players.
Good experiment with some interesting results. I'll use the friction gloves for field work on the colder days in the Winter. Mittens with hand warmers that you take off before throwing is the way to go in tournaments, in my opinion.
Yeah, I still hate gripping cold plastic. I need a bag warmer!! Thanks for watching and commenting!
All of the Friction glove tests have been using the tech disc as the reference point. I think the benefit of friction gloves (based on my experience and hundreds of Ultimate players) is being able to play in cold and especially wet conditions. I love the fact that when it's rainy, I use them and don't have to be excessively worried about making sure my disc is 100% dry. I also like the fact that when doing field work I can pick all the discs up with my left gloved hand. Of course I wouldn't expect friction gloves to yield higher tech disc results for most people...I love the comfort and being able to play in terrible conditions.
Yeah, my first review of them was more the comfort and applicability. This one I wanted to see if performance took a hit. I 100% agree with you.
Raw dwag that shit homie!
Haha, my delicate hands can't take it! 😉
Lame
Thanks! 😉
