You’re very welcome!!
You are such a BLESSING!!!!!
Aw thanks!
Good morning Rebecca! Just wanted to let you know I did a video on ocular migraines per your request! Hopefully it has been useful information there for you☺️
Do you have any more advancements once you can do these exercises? I'm able to do all of these now without provoking dizziness so not sure if i should progress even more. Many thanks!
Have you been trying these exercises walking outside? Or using a busy visual background like a checkerboard?
When I do quick squats or, for example, when I walk without moving my head, I look straight ahead. Is it still the VOR reflex that stabilizes vision or another one?
It’s somewhat the VOR, but the VOR is really activated when you move quickly so unless it was a plyo jump, it would probably be more like a smooth pursuit exercise controlled by parts of the brain, including cerebellum
❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for your support! Let me know if you need anything or have questions
I was diagnosed with bilateral neuritis will this work for that as well?
Hi! Here is a video all about bilateral loss! ua-cam.com/video/ZHE0U6kGp3o/v-deo.htmlsi=6FK0ncaf89Gh5XSZ gaze stability exercises are necessary but bilateral loss requires a little more
I developed vestibular hypofunction (1 ear 27% loss) over a year ago. Went through many weeks of vestibular rehab. Finally started to see improvement. About 2 weeks after being discharged, I relapsed. Very discouraging. Went back to rehab, but no improvement. My basic problem is when I walk, especially outside, parking lots, stores. Feel like I'm swaying. Get fatigued easily. I continue to apply what I've learned by focusing on something when I walk. I decided to do your in home rehab program and feeling more hopeful. Should I expect at least a few months before recovery? Thanks so much.
Everybody’s timeline is definitely different and it really depends on how your brain and body respond to exercises and stimuli. With your current triggers a bit of your symptoms sound like your brain might be choosing your visual system over your vestibular or Touch system. Have you looked into my PPPD playlist? I see a lot of those same spatial triggers in patient with 3 PD.
@@treatdizzinessathome2023 Where is the PPPD playlist?
@@treatdizzinessathome2023 Sorry, now I understand where the "playlists" are.....at the right side of the screen ....Thanks!
@@gayleklooz sure no problem! Please let me know if you have any other questions or as always. I offer 15 minute free discovery calls to see if there’s any other way that I can help to make sure you’re on the right track.
Is there a way I can get a PDF handout for each of these exercises? Thank You!
Hi! Have you downloaded this freebie? Gaze stability exercise : customcarerehab.com/gaze-stability-checklist-download
@@treatdizzinessathome2023 Will do. Also, where does the foam pad come in? I have gone from standing to walking on most of these. Should I be doing them on the foam pad too?
@@gayleklooz with my program I recommend doing the foam pad before walking, but if you have already advanced to that, consider doing some balance exercises on the foam pad and continue the gaze stability exercises walking.
actually I feel my symptoms when I am seated more than when I am standing or walking. If I am seated and lean forward that is when I get an off balanced feeling. My PCP thinks its my discs in my neck pressing on something when I am sitting but my neurologist and ent say its my ear so I am so confused. It went away for about 5 months and now it's back again.
If you have symptoms when you are seated and still, I do think about two different diagnoses, one being cervicogenic (of the neck) and the other being mal de debarquement.
Inner ear conditions tend to be worse when moving whether that’s spending forward or walking around and better ones still because you’re not activating the vestibular system. And the mal de debarqment tends to feel better when you are in motion and then when you come to a stillness or standing still, you’ll feel more of a rocking sensation.

If you cant keep it still in your view do you still go at this speed ......thanks so much for you videos❤
No, if it’s not clear in your image, you should slow down. Basically you move as fast as you can with keeping the image clear, or just on the edge of blurring 😊
@treatdizzinessathome2023 will do, thanks for that...kind of you to help.
@@smca7271 so welcome!
@treatdizzinessathome2023 its great, at the beginning the image would move back and forth same speed as my head....but quite quickly I can get the image to stay still...love your channel, wish more people could find it.
No go slower! You must keep it clear it just barely blurred☺️ speed adjusts as you get better
Bu egzersizi günde kaç tekrar yapmamız yeterli ?
This freebie has full written instructions! 😁Gaze stability exercise : customcarerehab.com/gaze-stability-checklist-download
Basically one minute each exercise
@@treatdizzinessathome2023 bana şimdiye kadar verdiğin destek için size teşekkür ederim. Başarılarınız devamını dilerim
Ayakta sabit dururken sallanıyorum bu egzersiz iyi gelir mi ?
These exercises are meant for people who have been diagnosed with a vestibular hypofunction or a weakness of the inner ear. They could be good exercises for you, but I would check out my balance compilation playlist, and here’s one of my older videos that teaches you how to ground. Watch anything on grounding. If you can focus on what your feet are providing you And paying attention to the misinformation in the brain, you can stop that way. My PPD playlist also has so much information. I’m grounding! Here’s one of my old videos not some of my better work, but it is full of great info (I’m awkward on video at first) 😂ua-cam.com/video/UxMsT_34KLI/v-deo.htmlsi=rfqQLBqAvJkUereP
Çok teşekkür ederim.
