@Ibn Sina Midir's health is so big that I almost fell a sleep while beating him. He ain't even that hard, but damn, you just go in, dodge his attact, go for 1 to 2 hits and do it all over up until you are bored to death. His health is ridiculus, at least for this type of fight, because fight simply becomes boring and long as hell.
That's me! I ended up finding Midir in offline mode with no help. I beat him and the recording was messed up so I played through the game again to rerecord the fight.

In fairness, this boss is pretty stationary. He just figured out that you do more damage hitting the head.
Are you asking about whether Ancient Wyvern without plunge or Midir is tougher? Honestly the only way you can die to the Ancient Wyvern (when you know what to do) is if you take too long and run out of estus.

That's actually what I did first. I straight up rushed to the bell and tried to attacked it. It doesn't helped.

I'll be honest, I didn't know about that ledge either, so I had to take it on same way Andrew did.
After many play throughs, I never noticed those statues of the Nameless King next to the entrance.

I knew I can´t be the only one who tried to fight the Wyvern for like 1-2 hours, then realized the thing with the plunging attack, died 2-3 times to the guy with the big Axe, finally made it and jumped down, missed it and died...

Yeah, I knew about the plunging attack but hate fighting past the horde of enemies (which seems to be harder than the actual dragon) so I just kept picking away with my black bow of pharis +10 and used 99 wood arrows and 60 or so standard arrows. Took while, but it was easier than taking on the snake men conga line.

i LOVE that scene, you jump on a damn dragon and slice it up, doesn't get more badass than that!
All they would have had to do to fix this boss would be to make it so you do multiple scripted plunge attacks or have mechanisms that damaged the Wyvern along the way. Then, when you get to the end, its health will be lowered enough so that you can just fight it fair and square. It may not have been a great fight still, but it would've been much better than what we got.

olavrell beside it being released more earlier, The Japanese Version loads much more faster than the English version thanks to Japanese Syllaberies having lesser characters to load in the game and this case is true especially to Speedrunners.
iirc kaseius can actually read Japanese, I mean he did read the Storm Ruler's description in another video so
he speaks japanese though
