So glad to see I wasn't the only one who had so much trouble with this guy.
Thanks for including me again!
Mental Fox And just think, a Caestus on your left hand and this boss becomes Iudex with a few extra steps.
JayD Only a casul parries Gwyn and Gundyr
Baka Hentai So you'd rather be a coward and not get the full experience of a fight? Sound logic
Baka Hentai Nice improper use of a word you probably don't know the definition of, there. Just another sod that throws "fallacy" around everywhere~
Gundyr isn't that bad even if you don't parry, only attack that is hard to avoid is his charge. Even then you can't parry the Soul of Cinder? When I fought Gwyn in ds1 I didn't know how to parry either.
Phase 2 of every other boss: Pulls a magical anime power-up out of his ass because there is nothing else left the boss could throw at you.
Phase 2 of Gundyr: Starts trying.
UnstopablePatrik this made my day
UnstopablePatrik
Phase 2 of Gundyr: "maybe I should open my eyes for this one."
That is so true. Every other boss, has some kind of gimmick, Dancer? second sword. Pontiff? summons clone and starts flying. Wolnir? Pulls giant fucking sword out of nowhere. Etc, Etc.
Gael does both
Beyonder Gael : maybe i should show my true form for this one
Midir : maybe i should use my wings and my dark laser for this casual and his 3 friends he summon
Gundyr phase 1: *leaning back in his chair*
Gundyr phase 2: *leans forward*
Oceiros: *uses his other hand*
Deacons: Summons the bros
GOLD FUCKING COMMENT LMFAOO
Turns on eyes
Butt kick is op
Common Gundyr: "I put up a fair challenge for newbies, and a little surprise"
Champion Gundyr: "i am formed in over six million ways of kicking your ass"
I don't know how, but I beat it first try (well I was left without estus and literally 5 of health after)
Eriko Biba yeah. I feel like Champion gundyr is like the nameless king. Everyone talks about how hard he is but I’m reality they’re both not that hard. But they are both memorable and cool bosses. It’s just for most who go against these bosses for the first time are surprised by how aggressive they are.
Red Cabbage Darkeater Midir on NG+ tho. My controller went through some abuse after that one.
@@redcabbage6640 "They're both not that hard" also has no estus left and gets a lucky hit in, yeahhhh okay.
G G dude. You’re talking about two separate comments
Ashen one: *uses estus
Champion Gundyr: "we dont do that here"
They just didn't time it right. I was able to use every single estus flask I had during the fight. The fact that I had to use all of them shows he can be difficult, but finding space to heal during that fight isn't very difficult. I was able to beat him on my second try due to the time he gives to heal, if you can tell when to do it.
Just wait for him to commit to the combo that ends with the big slam, then run away and heal. The difficulty healing comes from remembering his long combos and recognizing them.
I know man he's like Slave Knight Gale he never gives time to recover when he's on stage 2 he constantly comes at you no delay its unreal
Suluvan and the Dancer agree
@@Swagger1328 nah, you'll always have time to heal. think of every chance that you would attack, give up that one attack turn and chug you estus. if you say any boss give you no time to heal, then you'd have to time to attack either, which never happen
If gundyr didn't have crippling depression and had risen a little bit earlier when he was unkindled... lord have mercy for the bosses...
Imagine him drinking estus in the fight like we do. We're the same after all.
Abhinav Kumar i just beat him today first try
@@saltin9525 I once defeated gael in one try.
That doesn't mean that he is a weak boss.
Abhinav Kumar Oh no i know he isn’t weak its that im just too strong i can’t have fun in this game... it is .. my curse
@@saltin9525 sorry, but you can't blame me
99% of people who say "i beat this boss in one try" imply that the boss is weak

ACCURATE.
And Mas oyama who was alive before Bruce Lee was born...
Yeah but what if it was a thumb war eh
Thats not a kick thats a fucking leg delivered tank shell
Thank you man. You gave me a motivation.
Gundyr: has extremely long glaive, giving him a huge advantage in reach and keeping enemies at a distance
Also Gundyr: katate kicks the shit out of you cause he can
No, he karate kicks upwards and then backhands you to oblivion
@@bronzekilla other wise known as the BITCH SLAP
Gundyr the combo god
Also Gundyr: is the most parry-able boss
@@endereaper204 No matter, it's still the hardest in vanilla
I feel like whenever The Ashen One goes to drink their Estus, Gundyr kicks that flask down their throats. "Oh, you wanna heal? Let me help you get it down your throat faster."
😂😂😂
Lmao
LOL!😆
lmaao
I laughed so hard. 🤣
Just a reminder to you people. Gundyr had arrived too late to link the flame. IF his firekeeper had been alive during his time, Gundyr would have had the ability to level up and potentially become 10x stronger and faster than he is in ur fight vs him. Just remember when you're fighting Gundyr, you are really fighting a Level 1 Starting class who never had a chance to go beyond the cemetery of ash.
meteorseven3 But I have a question, Can we say that this is what is going to happen if we choose to began the Dark Age?
Can we say we are like traveling to the future or it can be just an alternative world were The Champion of Ashes (The player) never wake up?
Arimon Montes I believe it's the past when gundyr was the ashen one.
@Blake chandler Gundyr was never mentioned to be Ashen. He was a Champion(Future Lord of Cinder) like you, but not Unkindled Ash.
@meteorseven3 except he has the fucking Prisoner's Chain which was given to him by fucking GUTS pretty much. Because the effects are the same. No fucks about danger, but you get the Double,Triple or Forth of your damage. That's what Guts's Berserker Armor and the Prisoner's Chain do.
Daniel Antony it says in the beginning of the video that gundyr was unkindled
Champ Gundyr is the *"is this... too easy for you?"* Meme born from the Happy Souls animation personified in boss form.
*Sweating Profusely* "You know, I actually think the game is kind of hard..."
One thing dark souls 2 did right is have (mini) bosses come back as regular enemies you come across - the pursuer, ruin sentinel, flexible sentry, dragon rider, (tech) smelter demon - those aren’t lore specific, unique bosses like Nashandra which makes sense there would be more then one and it’s fun to mess with them again when you do
@@ManaRawk gundyr Just looks at you ''i Will Deal with you later''
@@thefoxwolfdraconis every dark souls game does this though
dark souls 1 had taurus and capra demons in the demon ruins
dark souls 3 had the crystal sage in the grand archives
hell, even bloodborne had the shadows of yharnam in a later area
Adnonnymous Yeah but it’s dang well a lot different fighting The Pursuer then those mini bosses - those are just more of the same demon, multiple pursuers feel like the kingdom has this select group of knights they used forbidden magic on to have them as executioners for runaway criminals and the like
Me: “YOU, I KILLED YOU”
Champ Gundyr: “my death was.... greatly over exaggerated”
fun fact, the untended graves take you to the past. so the flameless shrine is in the past. this means that champion gundyr became iudex. apparently, after you defeat him as champion, he decides to become a judge (iudex) of the unkindled and impales himself with a coiled sword. so this fight is in the past.
Apex references?
@@yoloteam9513 megamind reference
Spec ops the line reference?
@@dreadlock375 I thought the Untended Graves was an alternate future where the flame was never linked so it proceeded to die out.
I love how it feels like the devs designed him just to punish basic player reactions. The kick whenever you try and stick to his ass, the constant combos to prevent you from recovering with Estus, the big overhead swing when he knocks you over like he knows your first instinct is going to be to try and roll back out of range, it feels like he was tailor made to torment people who try normal boss tactics on him.
That damn overhead swing must have killed me upwards of ten times because I don’t learn
Parry makes it a super easy fight though
@@GoogleAccount-vz3um im getting all three dark souls soon but what does parrying means?
@@Predator1706 parrying is when you have a shield or a parryable weapon in your hand. basically you reverse their move and knock them down, giving you a chance at a critical hit. they are super hard to time though. the button is like L1 or L2 idk
@@blakxnz ok thanks for help
I love those seamless transitions between each player, how Gundyr will start a move and finish it in another person's gameplay. Really nice touch!
LeadFaun Yea, the edits he does for the bosses is amazing
Editing is on piont
Yeah, I'm loving that editing too, it's quite a nice touch.
It's not editing, it's that Gundyr hits so hard that he teleports to another world
I love Champion Gundyr as a boss. He goes from testing the Ashen One's abilities to legitimately trying to kill you. No gimmicks, no tricks, no special powers, just a seriously pissed off knight who makes a case to be Tekken's next guest character. The music in the second phase really conveys the despair you feel as he kicks you across the arena.
Hollows can't really test someone, you know.
Daniel Antony While he was a hollow, don`t forget he was made a scabbard to the coiled sword
One worthy to best the scabbard, is worthy to best the sword. And is thus a test.
Can he kick you off the arena?
I've seen someone be kicked off the arena by him, so yes. Though it obviously can only happen if the fight ends up too close to the ledge.
EonKnight321 he'd be better for soulcalibur 6
When Champion Gundyr knocked me into the sky then kicked me in midair off the platform, I wasn’t even mad, I was thoroughly impressed.

Champ is easily one of my favorite boss's in the game since there's no magic or gimmicks and he's just a brilliant boss born from the tutorial
That whole area was cool. It was a re-skin done right :3
Lothric but he's also very easy al you have to do is parry him
If you manage to in the second phase then yes. I don't ^^
i literally spent 2 hours straight parrying this guy with a caestus and then smacking him with some sellswords. after an hour or so i started to consistently get him to 30% health, and just died on purpouse when i got him below that so i could practice some more. now the fight is easy for me :)
Laurence is like that too! Takes the first boss, makes you think its just the same thing with more health/damage then after losing a bit of health the boss goes super saiyan and whips out a ton more moves and gets faster.

You thought Gundyr was a chump, well prepare to take on the champ.
and then it turns out champions is even more of a chump since you can just parry him to death.
Nero Then you try taking him on without a small/ medium shield that can parry, and the champ takes you for a ride.
you can parry him even with bare fists no problem. really, one you get the timing down he becomes the easiest boss in the game.
Fighting with a shield is bad for bosses because blocking takes up all your stamina
Nero Parrying bosses is for cowards. This fight, including Gywn in DS1 are so much more challenging and fun to fight without parrying

The champ was to me one of the best bosses in the whole souls series. It gives you nearly no time to recover from a mistake and it's a grueling, well coleographed marathon to whittle him down before you eventually get overwhelmed.
And that's before we even consider the eyegasmic Tekken moves :P

champ gundyr: the john cena of dark souls bosses
Valkyryshadow wait but his fights aren't setup with a winner before the fight even starts.
The undertaker*
He kicks out at phase 2
This boss is my personal favourite. On your first encounter you are like, "Gundyr, the tutorial guy?, this is gonna be piss easy" and you keep thinking that until phase 2, and he becomes a perpetual motion machine who demolishes your stamina if you block and who's wide arcing swings and long weapon can catch your rolls at the end of the invincibility frames. He makes pontiff Sulyvhans attack speed and combos seem pathetic.
This means that on your first encounter he seems overwhelming, an unstoppable force that cannot be stopped with no vulnerable moments and little to no warning for attacks. But then you fall into the zone, then you feel the rhythm and you begin to dance slipping under his attacks and learning not to stand behind him. You notice the little motions in his shoulders and arms for his attacks you realise that he is easy to predict, but still challenging as you have to override your natural instincts to roll spam, attack the back or retreating to heal due to his ludicrous skill at closing the gap.
It creates one of the fastest and most tense fights in the entire game due to the sheer speed, with no gimmicks which is why I look forward to it so much. Unless you can parry, then hes easy apparently.
This boss really is one of those ones i struggled the most with in my first playthrough of Dark Souls 3, also being my first playthrough of any souls-game. The thing that hit me the hardest while fighting against him, is how ridiculously well he manages to hit you everytime you try to heal. You have to wait patiently until he's doing one of his jumping attacks until you can finally heal, which i didn't do in the heat of the fight where i usually was too nervous to be patient.
His moves are hard af to dodge too, so me as a natural rolling guy (instead of blocking which also wouldn't work very well) had a lot of problems here and had to try the boss again the next day to beat him :)
Yeah, he is the only boss that truly punishes healing attempts if you get the timing wrong, which is really easy to do and I know that is why I usually die, my heal instinct overrides my wait thoughts. As you said you can only heal at specific moments or you get a halberd to the face, and you definitely have to adapt to his attacks. Because they cover such a large area compared to other bosses, by this point you are almost conditioned to roll backwards but his halberds range negates that tactic quite effectively.
At least you were already good at dodges, I know someone who never practised rolling, I saw someone who never really rolled and he died like 60 times before he won. Good job beating him though, he is definitely one of the harder ones.
Nat Grant-Haysey This is without doubt the fastest melee fight in the game. Friede is much faster but it combines with a sick moveset of magic attacks. This one, pontiff and friede are my personal favorite because of the swiftness
Oh I haven't fought Pontiff Sulyvhan at that level yet, So he is probably tougher at higher levels. At lower NG+'s I definitely find Gundyr harder because Pontiffs second phase gave a lot more breaks between his combos and he doesn't seem to close gaps as quickly. But that's just my personal experience.
Gundyr, and bosses in general, shouldn't be parryable, period. It just ruins the enjoyability of fights completely, and panders to scrubs who couldn't be bothered to actually get better at them. It's nothing but a glorified easy mode for the bosses that have it
Imagine fighting Artorias in his prime, that would've been cool
not just Artorias, but :

Now imagine that with a basic crest shield in your off hand... Oof
Ye wtf was that
Wait, isn't sharp the infusion made for dex? Or am i confusing?
Plus the twin blades scale with dex, correct?
@@TheLad196 it does. I believe the joke is more towards players who always run that kind of build, mostly new players, and the fact that sharp sellswords do absolutely INSANE damage when your dex is 40 and above (I tried them out for a boss I was struggling on with my quality build and the damage I was doing was absolutely nuts).
Also Grass Crest Shield increases the rate at which your stamina regenerates, so it's very popular with heavy weapon builds (like mine) and people who spam R1 (or L1 in the case of the twinblades).
@@kartikayysola I went into the fight with my grass crest shield, but then I switched to the smallest round buckler for parrying. In the end I could have kept the grass crest shield equipped for all the good the buckler did me (trash at parrying, lol). I kept my Hollowslayer Greatsword though considering it's already at +5 and I've been running with it since the Abyss Watchers. When I get that katana pair off that 1 NPC in the Grand Archives, I'm going to max them out to use against Friede since I have no intention of running with a slower weapon against someone so fast. That said, if I hadn't beaten Champion Gundyr when I did, I'd have gone through the Grand Archives, gotten the katana pair, and then gone back to shred him.
GUNDYR shits to all the reskinned bosses in history. He's probably a revolutionary boss. And he's a pretty good chuck norris cosplay.
Laurence was also really good, but yeah, Champion Gundyr is amazing, and a delight to fight every time.
A reskin boss done right.
Still remember the horrible, uninspired and uninteresting 3 versions of the same boss in DS1, ugh.
Laurence and Gundyr are reskins done right, they appear mostly the same at first, but then have tons of new moves and new forms available.
I actually liked Blue Smelter Demon solely because how he fucks up your timing because you're so used to fighting the basic smelter that the reskin throws you off. Lud/Zallen I actually liked more than Aava as well...
Dogf ish Laurence No he has the same moveset and his second phase is quelaag. Gundyr completely different movest, different fight and really important lore with the area too. I like Laurence for the lore only
souls borne Laurence does the same thing as Gundyr for the first two phases. 100-70% is Cleric Beast (with some aoe effects), 69-40% is much faster, and his moveset about doubles. 39-0% is the crawling around Quelaag lava form.
He was my favorite Soulsborne boss until Gael, I think it was one of the best big enemy fights in the series.
For as much as we make fun of him when we can parry...He is so savage when you can't. I want a compilation just of Gundyr elbowing and kicking people in the face.
he keep elbowing me, I dogde a kick to get caught by his pro football years
i knew you could parry him but never did its a beautiful dance between unkindled ones
Personally this my favorite boss. Really felt like me and Gundyr had chemistry in some sort of way, me and him dancing through each other’s attacks. It’s nice that this is a straight forward fight with no magic or crazy unrealistic attacks. He has definitely earned the title Champion since he does indeed fight like one. Hats off to you Champion Gundyr!!
I love how Gundyr combos his moves so well, it's like he knows what move you'll make 3 minutes before you do it
Gundyr was no Iudex (Judge)... *He was a champion, a champion among men.*
The fact that this guy gets more aggressive the lower his hp bar is awesome
That's the whole phylosophy of the Dark Souls Franchize.
Death is a power.Not a weakness.
Its like pvp
@We are the absolute. You are not. O&S is definitely a multiphase fight.
*"I don't fear the man who has practised 10.000 kicks. I fear the man who has practised the same kick 10.000 times."*
Champion Gundyr in a nutshell.
4:53 that is one dope combo. I don’t even get mad fighting champion Gundyr his move sets are just too awesome and I’d be glad to die in this boss fight just to see his moves.
4:51 that red phantom in the back is like "fk this I'm outta here" xD
Wasn't a red phantom just a ghost that is red
jelli boyo still
Like fisher
Gundyr going into 2nd form:
Psst...wanna see 10% of my power
The girl streamer’s audio was bass boosted and it made me laugh everytime she got hit. Just made gundyrs attacks feel so much stronger lmao
one of my fav bosses in the game. facing him again in his prime after you've gone through all the same shit he has. you can start to identify with him. and for his second phase he doesnt pull some bitchy anime powerup out of his ass (which btw im not against at all, the abyss watchers are legit my favourite boss in the entire series). no instead of having a powerup he just starts trying. beautifully simple. the only way they couldve made this fight better is if they made him fight more like a player. although i guess they were saving that for the soul of cinder.
rolling like a player would not have worked for gundyr. his moveset is perfect for him.
@@dreadlock375 not necessarily rolling, perhaps some Miracles and like 20 Estus upgraded to +5 that would be good.
Well, he didn’t really get to level up like the player since his fire keeper had already died. He’s basically at 1% of his power...
Dear god, if Gundyr had managed to level up, he’d make Midir shake in fear.
@@wyattreno5113 Leveled up Gundyr: *Looks down at bosses*
The bosses: *fear*
The thing about Gundyr is that he's just like you. A Ashen One awaken to preform their duty, only he never got the chance. And what is it that people in the game call you every now and again? "CHAMPION of Ash."
It very easily could have been you're character stuck in his position. That's what makes this boss so sad.
He's also Oceiroce's Knight according to his helmet description.
He isn’t rly ashen tho he was just supposed to be a lord like u but woke too late rather than actually failing like your character
God the edit at 1:34 was so fresh I had to watch it twice to even notice it
I like how no one even tried to parry him
If you watch boss v boss vids, he absolutely demolishes other bosses as well, his kicks stagger the pontiff
Ikr it's awesome
Champion “Pontiff calls me daddy” Gundyr
Champion Gundyr, the true Ashen One
Iudex: Curse Mark
Champion: Eternal Mangekyo
You get a like. I’m starting to show my friend naruto recently.
Nameless King: Rinnigan
Gael: Six paths
Sister Friede: AMATERASU
6:42 Yep, that's a certified gamer moment
If champion gundyr had a death quote it would be "you should go back relearn the basic"
It should also be like (go back from where you came, for which you have no place here) what a late response lol
I love how angry they get when they get hit while healing like seriously you're standing RIGHT NEXT TO HIM at least try to get some distance
Jim L well he sucks at any distance, if you try and do it far away he can just stop and charge at you
I’m pretty sure that he is actually programmed to do one of his closing moves (jump attack, the charge move, etc) when he isn’t doing a move and you use an estus
@@alolamao833 thats why you gotta heal while hes doing a close range attack
how to beat Iudex gundyr. R1 spam like a casul.
how ti beat champion gundyr. *gitting gud intensifies*.
Always funny to read such things.
Well I beat him with *THE* great sword (the one that looks like dragonslayer from Berserk) by spamming *R2* with no parries.
Or cheese with maxed up crossbow
33Isaiah96 More like:
Iudex Gundy: *Uses R2s*
Champion Gundyr: *Spams R1 and Weapon art*
Btw, I type this as if Gundyr's playing, not the player
EDIT: The formatting is correct now
how to beat champion: parry parry parry parry parry
Every other boss: big, flashy and often cool transformation
Champion Gundyr: just tries to kick your ass harder.
*2nd phase starts*
Player: so you have red eyes now.
CG: no... I've always had them, but now you can see them
Champion Gundyr is a beautiful subversion of our expectations. He's Gundyr from the past and way more challenging then the second Gundyr in every way. Everything you remember from the first encounter is meaningless especially after the second phase literally kicks in.
Or you could just, parry him I guess. Lol!
But there's no past.Champion Gundyr IS in the past.LoL i guess.
This is not the past, the Shrine that you fight Champion Gundyr is the present. The shrine you first come across is a different timeline where Ludleth linked the flame so it could live long enough for the bell to ring and summon the Player.
Nexus Stygian no champ is in the past. If you talk to the old lady in the dark shrine before the one in the beginning when you come back to the light shrine she'll remember you
Nexus Stygian no it’s the past
Next up, wyvern?
5:00 edit was sick
Mr. Toast woaaah that was cool
1:37 DID YOU JUST KICKED ME
best reaction I ever seen😂
One of the best made boss in DS history
This guy gave me more trouble than the Nameless King, he's just such a relentless beast and I can never get the hang of his combos and incredible reach
Same feeling for me when i first face him, it was like i never get the safe time to heal because i feel i never see the end of his combos and he just keep chasing you to the ends of the earth (Also his kick really caught me a lot for bad position). The only time i feel safe to heal up is when he did the delay horizontal swing.
One handed sellswords ( - . -)
Naomi Faye I was laughing pretty hard but felt a little bad watching that lmao
It's not a bad plan...if you're using them in the left hand. No real reason to one-hand them on the right, though.
Naomi Faye honestly 😂 get that weak shit outa here
Naomi Faye it's also not even that he's switching to two hand sporadically, he's turtling behind a shield with them
don't forget shield of want and grass crest shields for blocking...
3:44 sounds like Postal guy saying "Shit!"
His kicks are awesome and all, but I'm also all for his shoulder rams. His superpower is badassery lol I love him
The most fun thing of all of this? Everyone thinks that if they go behind him they can heal and get kicked to the face. All normal here, BUT HOW ON LOTHRIC CAN THE ESTUS NOT BREAK FROM THAT KICK?!
All the reinforcements Andre did probably made it indestructible.
@@Blazeofthecentury Well andre is a special kind of smith.
@@thatdudemetro6271 He killed the Taurus demon alone and Gwyn with Solaire, he also took on Havel and won in one of BonfireVN's videos.

The Champ's Phase 2 : Welp, warm up's done.

I love that my comment on your Oceiros video actually came to fruition
His phase is just stretching
Thats a dark phantasy game, idiot, of course there was bound to be magic and anime looking power ups
@@wallacesousuke1433 He's just saying it felt overused and unoriginal at certain points, but here the second phase is Gundyr trying
@@twistedgwazi5727 Overused and unoriginal? Wtf? Try staying consistent
I love watching them all go into the arena being like
Oh yeah I’ve fought this guy before, he’s going to be easy.
Just to find themselves getting destroyed by him, give ma boi gundyr some love
I guess gundyr got tired of having his ass handed back to him by people who play a lot of dark souls so he decided to go berserk on that
Gundyr phase 2: Omae wa mou shinderu
lol
**KICK**
I've watched every one of these. And i wait every day for a new one to come out. I'm never disappointed.
These are just the kind of videos i love to see, as i look back to my first playthrough after which i wanted to see how others did against certain bosses. This is the perfect kind of video for this and i'm really glad Sniatch does those :)
theres something that's so chad about this moveset
They need to make more bosses like this I love the combos he did at 4:00
I love Gundyr fight, he's just a perfectly designed boss that counters most newbie tactics. You can't go behind him, you can't block him, you can't magic spam him, you can't spam roll, you can't estus chug, what you have to do is fight him head on in a beautiful dance.
Souls Fanatic
You can block him... His attacks take shitload of stamina though...
Cato Sicarius
Not really, he has guard breaker moves in second phase and most of them combo into follow ups. Only way to block them is to use high stability about 70 should due and most people aren't wasting weight on greatshields.
You can still parry him, its always funny when small shield parrying this halberd
mareczko I love Caestus parrying the jumping attack... it just looks so silly XD
I missed this guy on my playthrough, went back after I finished the game and fought him and killed him on the first try, you can spam roll backwards and chug estus easily. I was pretty overpowered for the fight at that point tho.
I stopped pornhub for this.
Guess I have to finish with this.
I piss on lolis The amount of rape gets me hard
I piss on lolis I didn't start to watch this.
I piss on lolis Lmao your name
I piss on lolis Watch out, we've got an Azuki over here
With those combos you could
by far my favourite boss. such smooth movements and attack chains that just felt so epic to fight against
Gundyr: If you strike me down I will become more powerful than you can possibly imagine
I'm still shaking from my gundyr fight, beat him first try but by god was he relentless, no estus and a silver of health left
Congrats. It's for experiences like that that I play Dark Souls.
Suwat Saksri lol same thing happened to me man I had beaten ocieros and I had stumbled upon the hidden wall and was like oh okay so I explored it and I eventually came upon this guy and was like wtf I thought I killed you you pathetic swine than the tables turned on me but I beat him on my first try to because I was in a rush to beat all the bosses but made time to explore this place and I got lucky to say the most really C:
