Thanks.Yes the sloping top panel was different and the rotating main dial was different. Took a bit of getting used to. Also I used to like I could programme the camera not to fully rewind the film.You could then use it to change films during a shoot and rewind half used films to the spot where you stopped it.
Great video. Thinking about picking one up to photograph my young boys. Impossible with manual focus SLRs when they’re running around in the garden and I understand the autofocus is quite snappy on this camera.

The Nikon F5 , I was looking at one for sale the other day.The Nikon F4 and F5 were on my wish list once.I had the opportunity to buy the F4 when used film cameras were very cheap as everyone had gone digital but didn't. Missed out. The guy in the camera shop put me off a bit by talking about how much the camera chewed up batteries.Not really an issue.Thanks for your comments. Geoff.
Mr. Thompson what do you think should I get Nikon f100 or Pentax MZS? can Pentax give me a little bit non standard look. Or how should I make a decision.
Hi Nikoloz. Thanks for your question.Both are great cameras. Some people think Pentax is a lesser brand than Nikon with Nikon perhaps being seen as more prestigious.I have a Nikon F90 ,the one before the F100. The advantage of the Mzs to me is that I have lots of lenses to use on it.It's really your choice of course. Geoff
@@nikolozgabedava6934 Generally speaking pentax lenses are cheaper and the glass is just as good in my opinion.Nikon do have good lenses though.If you go for pentax you can save some money but not sacrifice qualiity.Good luck.

I wonder if Nikon's F5 was that BIG camera (syndrome) mentioned in the article, as you can't remove the grip on that one.
