Summer bass fishing can be really good and really difficult at times. There have been days where I hate being out there and days where you can't get me off the water.
One of the most overlooked patterns to catch bass during this time of the year is by targeting small backwater areas for bass!
BassFishingHQ is dedicated to teaching people how to catch more and bigger bass. I will go over different bass fishing tips & techniques that will put more fish in the boat or on the shore. Whether you are just starting out or a seasoned tournament angler, my goal is to help you catch more bass.

Speaking to us "non-boaters" along with "boaters" shows what a great guy you are . Much appreciated. Great job.
Thanks for the tip. When getting to the water requires up to several miles of hiking steep terrain, reading the water beforehand is kinda important.
Thank you for including bank anglers. Love the channel. I have implemented so much of what I have learned here and it has really worked. I am having a blast! BTW punching the D-Bomb from the bank has been very productive, and I caught my first three chatter bait fish this week. I learned from saltwater fishing to always look for birds. Thanks again for all of the great information and instruction.
Thank you so much for showing attention to us bank fishers appreciate it. It has helped me so much. And thanks for the great video!
That’s what I do in the summer, my lake has a creek that constantly flow into it. I take my kayak and fish the creek and creek mouth, the bass love the fresh cool water. I use crawfish baits or buzzbaits. Been catching 20+ fish every outing, sizes from 2-5 lb average. Caught a couple 6’s back in June and caught a 7 lb on a buzzbait in the creek mouth 2 weeks ago. Looking forward to the full moon next week. I use bass forecast app and a moon phase app also for getting the best times to fish. It’s extremely accurate 🎣
What state ? Just curious. I’m in Ohio
Tyler, that is good advice. For me it was confirmation that I have been on the right track stategy wise during our recent club kayak tournements. I always apprecitiate the knowlege and work you put into each video.
Last few years I’ve switched to creek fishing during the August/September doldrums when the lakes are dead, and it’s been fabulous. Great fishing, fun wet wading in shorts and old running shoes, and oh yeah- rarely if ever see another angler.
Yet another way to consider things when you’re trying to think of where the fish would be given your current circumstance. Yet another way to better read the body of water we’re fishing!!! Many thanks.
What a great video, thanks for sharing your experiences.
Great video as always thanks Ty
I learned a lot just watching all your videos! A lot of information thank you!
Absolute facts! This is something I’ve done for years

Great video 📹 Thank you for sharing 👍
Good advice thank you because I fish the banks
I couldn't agree more. Especially going up into creeks.
Those creeks and streams bring in cooler water and more dissolved oxygen.
Thanks 👍
Good Info!
Tyler giving up some secrets. Great video
Great video with valuable information!!!!! Thanks!!!!
I don't understand how you mean to contact you....sorry
Tha is for the great videos!
Hey Ty, just found your channel. Being a fellow Ohioan, you have to check out the Stillwater river in the west central prt of the state. Spring time smallies are insane!
Hey Tyler this was some good stuff I’ve got a tournament coming up what would you think of doing if when you get there you find out the lake level is down 3 to 4 feet. Would you still try to get away from the main lake
Hot sticky bass incoming! Thanks teach, that’s actually how I caught my pb!
Could have used this info this morning lol at least I was just practicing for next week's tournament
New sub! Liked 🙏🙌✌️
I’m going to try this we will see how it goes :-)
who was the guy from leesburg florida with the 27 lb bag if you don’t mind me asking I’m from leesburg and I want to get into comp fishing but don’t have a boat
Would bays fall into this category?
Keep idling around in the middle of the lake and leave my fish alone, lol.
