i'm not into competitive fishing, but i like the attitudes you two bring to the game. If folks shared their findings (good or bad) in real time, then it becomes(in my mind) more like team fishing, with the HUGE advantage that covering more, and more varied water, with more presentations in the same number of elapsed hours, potentially helps everyone's outing. As always, great job!
This was one of the best videos that I have seen that described what each fisherman was doing, the water conditions that they were dealing with and how they were catching their fish. Congrats to both Jonny & Randy for this video!!! 👍👍👍
I love these type challenges. This helps me see that there are always some fish deep and some shallow. Your decision making choices during the day in regards to location and to lure choices is what I enjoy most.
I enjoy fishing challenge with my buddies also but I've always been crazy about fishing and we would throw money or even lunch into winning our challenges
These challenge videos are my favorites where you guys put your teachings & theories to the test on the water & we get to see in real Fishing situations.
I applaud both of you for the teaching heart you guys bring to these videos. This one proves you can catch fish anywhere….well everyone but me apparently. I keep trying just hadn’t figured it out yet. I may end up with a masters degree level education from these videos before I learn. Please keep them coming! I support you guys by buying tackle using links on your site to help out. Thank you
Loved loved loved this video. A ton of knowledge to be gained here. Thanks guys! These challenges are great. Also Jonny I must compliment your production skills. These just keep getting better & better.
These videos are so fun. Need to get you guys in the same boat though so we can see what happens when the shallow water fisherman is paired with the offshore expert.
Love your channel guys. I've learned alot from you guys especially being a local. I've won a few tournaments on that point alone. Great spot. You put a clinic on the off structure bite. Keep em coming!!
I love the vids you make, thank you very much for the effort you put into them. You are watched as far as africa, keep up the great work. Appreciate it.
Y'all please subscribe and help Johny to grow and keep up the awesome content!! Let's not forget how lucky we are to have this information at our fingertips!! Johny thank you very much for sharing your experiences with us and helping us become better fisherman!
Me too man. That's all I know how to do is flip and fish brush. It works but some days when you don't catch a thing you really go home wishing you were a better offshore fisherman. It's definitely a technique. But the offshore guys get skunked too sometimes. It's 50% luck 50% skill in my eyes no matter where you're fishing.
Awesome video dudes once again quality stuff all the way through man … you and tacticalbassn need to do a meet up man would be crazy fun to watch…. Y’all put out the best fishing videos on UA-cam or that even come to mind at this point …. Really enjoy you info man. Thanks 🙌
Great vid guys. I’m always pulling for both of y’all to do good in these challenges. I’d like to see y’all do a flip flop a few times too. Make Jonny fish shallow and Randy deep. Y’all both know how to catch them every which way so why not?
Awesome bass fishing I love going with my dad cause I am only 14 so I can’t drive yet but bass fishing is the best and I love this video one of your best yet I have a channel too I work hard on it so I know all the hard work you put into these and everyone appreciates your hard work keep fishing 🎣
Jonny, I don't know if you've done this before, but could you make a video on what your helix presets are and what screens you are looking at most of the time?
Really enjoy watching your videos but lately with all the music chimes I end up turning down the volume and then turning it back up maybe take it easy on that a bit
Ha,, I fish maybe 4 times a month, for about 4 to 8 hours each time. Same setups on 6 poles catching 2 to 6 pounders and haven't retied yet lol... no lost lures or fish but now I'm thinking I am just lucky lol
It's all we've had here all year long- just stopped raining this week- finally. It didn't go more than 3-4 days without raining since Dec. But- I fish creeks and rivers so- it hasn't been good for me at all. Those places have been pretty much un-fishable since Jan. They're finally returning to normal this week- hopefully they stay that way. It pushed me onto the lakes- where I'm lost, so this season has sucked for me.
@@byronhendrixfishing8393 Bear creek mostly- there are four lakes- I fish Upper bear and Little bear. Also my local county lake, which is a pond really- and then Pickwick on the Tenn. river.
It's funny how at the beginning Randy said it'd be hard for jomny to beat him today...then a lot of missed fish later he back tracks and talks about how easy it is for jonny to land them 😂
Yeah… I usually spend at least 1 hour of my fishing day filming with the drone and getting other camera shots. I don’t want to make excuses so I don’t mention it in videos.
Well Johnny, I use to like your videos man but, we are just on different levels now man.. I need update material on how to catch them offshore but, without “live-scope” so all around now your material is way way to expensive, to get a breakdown of my lakes from you is expensive and to remotely fish like you is very expensive as well.. I’ve just realized it’s best for me to just unsubscribe. Take care and have a good one sir!
I didn’t actually need Livescope to catch these fish. That’s why I didn’t show any screenshots of it. You can catch the fish I found with a $500 down imaging unit just as well as I did in this video. I’ll make a video about this soon when I get my boat re-rigged. I’ll be putting a $500 unit on the bait and doing a challenge with only that unit
Not sure why he was upset you clearly used your console unit to down scan image those fish, you didn't use live or even mention it, basic of technology that you used finding them, matter of fact I'm pretty sure you showed a 2D b-roll in the video which is the most basic technology sonar their is🤷 That buck brush looked completely irritating trying to fight fish out of it. Wouldn't likely work to good around here, our water is upper 80's

I love how you are just floating around
Now these are the videos I love. Two skilled fishermen fishing 2 different styles on the same day at the same time. Great video guys.
That was great to see both approaches and hear from each of you about it all. Thanks.
These challenge videos are my favorites where you guys put your teachings & theories to the test on the water & we get to see in real Fishing situations.
I love this format you guys did. Definitely need more like this. Great work guys
I applaud both of you for the teaching heart you guys bring to these videos. This one proves you can catch fish anywhere….well everyone but me apparently. That was an awesome video....!!! You must do a lot more of these..!!
I hope a lot of people get to see this video.....really cool 😎
Loved loved loved this video. A ton of knowledge to be gained here. Thanks guys! These challenges are great. Also Jonny I must compliment your production skills. These just keep getting better & better.

What a great day of fishing! And a most exciting video! Great job from true sportsmen! You guys are the best role models! I’m pumped!
Reminds me of Grassy Creek, @ Buggs Island resevoir when you flooded that Ranger!! Randy B!!!
Equipment is my need now .please do more of these great videos
Really enjoyed both perspectives on a summer day and seeing how both can be productive given the situations.
Love your channel guys. I've learned alot from you guys especially being a local. I've won a few tournaments on that point alone. Great spot. You put a clinic on the off structure bite. Keep em coming!!
Really like the comparison of offshore vs shallow. Loving the content! One of the most informative channels on UA-cam, keep up the good work guys. 👍
I really enjoy these videos, awesome. Greetings from Boxford, MA
Both of you showed a lot of great information on how to target bass in each of your target areas. Thank you for some good healthy competition.
Getting ready to leave for Watts Bar and yak fish for the day. Really enjoy your vids and all that you've taught this old man.
I love the vids you make, thank you very much for the effort you put into them. You are watched as far as africa, keep up the great work. Appreciate it.

I’m loving the challenge videos.
I fish the same style as Randy and love it. I would like to learn to fish the off shore like Jonny. Trying but, not successfull as of yet.

Great vid guys. I’m always pulling for both of y’all to do good in these challenges.
I’d like to see y’all do a flip flop a few times too.

Always good stuff
Y'all should do a team tournament with y'all two as partners
Where were y'all fishing? I love your videos.
Jonny, I don't know if you've done this before, but could you make a video on what your helix presets are and what screens you are looking at most of the time?
Love the video
I love these videos!
Can y’all do a video on what color baits to use in clear water compared to dirty water? You may have one already out.
These challenges are great! Please buy Randy some low cut socks - he's killing me...
Jonny what was the weight of your hair jig.? I really like the content you and Randy put together good job.
1/2 oz
Really enjoy watching your videos but lately with all the music chimes I end up turning down the volume and then turning it back up maybe take it easy on that a bit
What reel is that? Btw that beef jerky is great. went to bridgford website and found what store has it locally and am all stocked up now :-)
how did you get randy to agree to fish against you with you using live scope? hahaha
What go pro stand are you using to hold your go pro up at the back of your boat if you don’t mind me asking
How about doing Bull Shoals??
Jonny wooped 😂
What video editing do you use?
Love this.......but im need more. Sorry
👊
Good stuff
Hi great video as usual. Thanks for all you posts I've learned a lot. Just curious about the gloves you use.
Ha,, I fish maybe 4 times a month, for about 4 to 8 hours each time. Same setups on 6 poles catching 2 to 6 pounders and haven't retied yet lol... no lost lures or fish but now I'm thinking I am just lucky lol
I wish they would drop Lanier like they do. It’s been since beginning of 2020 that we had flooded brush like that.

what scale is that?
Any recommendation on hair jigs?
Nevermind I see in the description 👌
It's funny how at the beginning Randy said it'd be hard for jomny to beat him today...then a lot of missed fish later he back tracks and talks about how easy it is for jonny to land them 😂
Did Johnny only fish 4 and a half hours???
Yeah… I usually spend at least 1 hour of my fishing day filming with the drone and getting other camera shots. I don’t want to make excuses so I don’t mention it in videos.
Soryy, I just don't have an hour and half to graph...
