@@Hungryman97sCollectibles agreed , i have a 1987 roger clemens Record breaker with no dot and it has black misprint on it. Is that rare or also common?
@@jayson2531 you must be talking about a Topps product. I've never looked into Topps missing dot errors. The black dot sounds like a printing flaw. It may sound rare, but these cards were so overproduced, printing flaws don't really fetch value. You may want to check sold listings on Ebay. If you have a moment, I wouldn't mind taking a closer look at your card. My email is zagarfarts@yahoo.com.
Thats right its not! Also the combo is also not on every one! So yes these are errors and they add up! There is also more errors on the donruss that I have seen! I have a Randy Johnson error that has both the dots and the one * as it should be but another error!
I'm not sure why I didn't specifically say 91. I did later ssy it affected 88-92. But yeah, I wasn't super clear. Good catch. Yes, 91 had the same issues and there is NO extra value for missing periods.
Getting closer to 1000 makes me happy to see. Ive been collecting since I was a kid....long ago and collect errors when when I know about them. An interesting thing from the early 70's managers cards were the airbrushing of coaches where their ears were missing, different backgrounds. Mostly in 72 and 73. Dont forget another thing I noticed on feebay was people trying to sell miscut cards and list them as rare misprints, these cards were junk and still are. Its sad to see people taking advantage of new collectors to the hobby but as long as people buy this stuff people will keep selling it.
Also how come Donruss 91 series have bunch of green cards but then I have some blue cards but like 1/4 of the green cards?? Just wondering about that. Well hopefully you see this comment since this video is 3 years old. Hopefully someone will reply me . Thanks
Just found your channel and I love the info. You seem to know alot about error cards. I have a question I am trying to find information about a Mark McGwire Highlights error card 91 donruss but I can't find anything online, ebay anywhere. It's card BC-9 the back doesn't have a bottom blue line (the gap) is gone the white is printed all the way to the bottom. I can send you a picture if you like.
Hey man, thanks for the comment. I'm not in front of my computer right now and that error does not Immediately come to mine. I would love to have a look at it. My email is zagarfarts@yahoo.com.
A lot of sellers are trying to pray on unsuspecting buyers. There is nothing valuable out of this set. But people are pretending they have some rare error. Even though they are listed for thousands they are not selling for that.
@@stevestones7083 I don't believe they are selling for big money. I believe people are ASKING for big money. Maybe I'm wrong. But they aren't rare. I have a ton.
I'm thinking you may need to watch the video again. Go thru a pile of 89 Donruss and you'll find the missing period isn't anything special. Sry for the bad news.
Have you heard about 89 Topps McGwire some people are trying to scam people with I believe they are saying his listed weight is wrong and that’s error and it’s supposed to be rare
Hello, I was wondering I have some 1991 Donruss baseball cards and some have a dot after the “inc” and some don’t. Also I can tell a difference in the printing. Anyone know why they are like this? I was like dang I got an error card but then noticed that it was lighter in color compared to ones with the dot and I have a bunch of them. Also while sitting writing this I found a Cal Ripken 1990 Donruss card without the dot. The red Donruss cards. Time to list it for millions 😂😂. Jk, I’m not like those people who sell a card for hundreds because it’s missing a dot. Just ridiculous imo
They were just printed both ways. Not an error and no extra value. You can find cards within the same pack with and without the dots. There can be subtle differences in layout of the back. And yes, variances in color. These were produced by the truckload and variations happen. Don't quit your job yet... and ignore those ridiculous prices you see on ebay.
Exactly if the grading companies do not recognize it there is no actual error because it is too common
👍
it isn’t on every single card tho
Certainly not. But the the "error" is so common, it adds 0 value. These cards are the most produced cards ever. The missing dot is easy to find.

The "No Dot after INC" isn't a bad error tho, I found your channel because of it.
That's a good thing! Welcome aboard.
What about the donruss 91 no dot error

What about the period after Co
I don't follow. The backs say "inc" but I'm not aware of any that say "co".

Thnx for commenting! Almost 1000 subs! I haven't heard of the airbrushed ears! I'll check it out.
Wow ima have to go through my 70's cards. That would be something to see lol
thanks for doing this video! I came across a ton of these, wondered what the deal was
Thnx for watching. I feel like sellers are misleading on purpose on these variations.

Ha ha. Glad I can help. 91 Donruss was released in 2 series. Blue and that sea foam color. That's all.
I think the dot is rarer lol I was looking through all my cards and found only a couple dots and most not dotted
I should've counted to see the ratio of dot to no dot... but what's the use?
Yes this is a scam. None of these errors are worth a damn. People need to stop this crap.
I agree! As long as people are gullible, this scam won't be going away. Thanks.

Waht about a ken griffey 1991 made #24 without . after inc? :/
Same. Not rare. Ignore what ebay sellers are asking for it.
Supposedly there is one with the 89' Donruss Roger Clemens card also.
I have an 89' Donruss Alan Trammell MVP card with no period after INC

Don't understand what you mean about dot and where is it at
3:50 mark is a good place to start. After the Leaf inc copyright there is a period, or no period. "INC." or "INC".

YES. Crooked sellers. Except it's on every one.
IT 100 PERSON NOT ON EVERY SINGLE CARD, AND IF YOU TELL PEOPLE THAT YOUR LYING
Not 100% but it's so common that it adds zero value.

new subscriber here, good info on the donruss cards, thanks
Thnx! Welcome aboard.
Thank you
Ty!
Randy Johnson bday is wrong on his rookie card he's born in 63 not 64
Good catch! I haven't actually made a 89 Donruss error video. But when I do I'll include this one!
I have a bunch of 1989 donruss cards and also that's the same year i started 2 collect baseball cards.
Same! 89 for me. I used to buy 88 Donruss for .75 a pack because they were a year old! 3 decades later that's still a ripoff.
The Dot is supposed to be there! Its the proper way to abbreviate the word.
My English teacher may agree with you, but companies do as they please.

First of all, people AREN'T buying them. But if they are, it's because greedy sellers are preying on them. A fool and his money are soon parted.
