He's back!!!.... Your the reason I got back into the hobby back in 2017...and I believe its that way for alot of collectors that are of a certain age...40 or older. Thanx brother...keep doing your thing....maybe some hockey....vintage/modern???
Thanks for sharing, it makes it so much easier and faster to go through hundreds of cards and pick the good ones. Now I can sell the rest of the boxes. 👍
We miss you bro.... you don't understand you could be the leader in this category... You provide quick easy and trustworthy info... We want more of your expertise please
Just super sad. I had so many of these cards but when my family moved in early 1978, my mother threw all of my cards out and waited three days before she told me. I was 15. So much for great memories from my youth. 😭😭😭
@passcomcompass2623 She did the same thing to my sister; threw out all of her older Barbie Dolls. Many of those were probably worth some serious money.
A rare Mike Trout autographed card sold in August 2020 for $3,930,000 The owner purchased the 2009 Bowman Chrome Draft Prospect card in 2018 for $400,000 The 3.93 mil sale beat out the highest price for any card, which was Honus Wagner's $3,412,000. Not sure about Mickeys card for 12.4 mil. Thanks for the list !! Excellent work !!! I still have nightmares about concentrating on the gum at 5 cents a pack and tossing the cards or putting them in my bicycle spokes. Who would have ever thought !!!! Neighbor kid had a complex baseball game he made....and he had every card imaginable
Love looking at these little baseball cards had everyone except the Willie stargell so far up to number 37 show my baseball card collection in 1998 to move to Florida brings back great memories watching this video but also makes me kind of ill knowing the birth of these cards but I enjoy looking at it and love knowing I had these cards great video good stuff
This is my new favorite video. I have seen with my own eyes, in the wild, several of these cards and its a kick to see their value and what they mean to the hobby. Thank you for another upper echelon video.
WOW! I had a couple of those Ricky Henderson rookie cards when I was a kid. None were ever graded but I doubt any were a 10, most likely if I was luck a PSA 5 to 7. Thanks for sharing this video, it was really cool to see all the PSA 10 cards and the 1 of 1 cards. I can not believe that Jeter card went for $600K, I missed out of that one, I stopped collecting in like 90-91 and never bought 93 Upper Deck. Sad sad. LOL
Quick note, the Roberto Clemente sold for higher, more recently ($1.1 million in March 2021) and the only PSA 10 was sold in 2012 as part of the Dmitri Young collection for $432k
Great to see you here again.. Seeing the Reggie Jackson it reminded me how dumb, I was when I was younger.. I sold the card to a card store for under 100 bucks.. in my opinion, Psa 8.5 or 9.0
I used to have so many late 60’s early 70’s but was robbed big time. I really think it was my ex’s brother. I couldn’t ever prove it. I had some really great cards too. I had every Tom Seaver car from rookie season all the way to 79. Those weren’t even close to my best cards either. I traded a bunch for a rookie Pete Rose and I had Gayle Sayers rookie. A bunch of football and hockey cards too. I had some Bobby Orr cards and probably 10,000 total. The majority of my collection gone in one night.
I remember when I was a kid that graduated from high school 1989 upperdeck card were sweet ken Griffey Jr was here in the minor leagues in San Bernardino and Stockton had Gary Sheffield were rookie cards and I own 2 sets of the 1989 upperdeck great memories.
Great video! I just think Marshall Fogel would disagree about the SGC 9.5 being the best '52 Mantle in existence when he's sitting on the only PSA 10 in existence that looks incredible if you've ever seen it.
It's amazing how these old vintage cards graded 10 & 9. I have some of these vintage cards, but ungraded. I want to get some graded but afraid my cards will get switched out. I need to be their while my cards get graded. Excellent video
The Vintage PSA 9s and 10s are most likely altered. And might want to address the disparity in grading from 10 years ago until now. There is now at least a 2-point difference with today's stricter grading standards.
Great video!! Quick question, what editing and graphics software do you use? I am a high school video teacher and would like to do more, especially with graphics... thanks!
Oh my! I've kept 2 boxes of 1000's of 1970's & 80's (few 1960's Topps) baseball cards that I bought back in 1999 from an Estate sale. I have so many Rookie, Nolan Ryan, Wade Boggs, Frank Thomas, Jose Canseco, and so on. I have Topps, Fleer & Ultra, Donruss complete sets. This guy I bought from that died must have known which cards to collect, because I haven't a clue what I have.
I remember seeing a photo album filled with Mickey Mantle cards. 3 or 4 pages of his rookie cards. Most were gem mint. None were counterfeit. I worked for one of the biggest baseball card dealers from Wilkes-Barre Pa back in the 1980’s. He had most of these cards. His most treasured cards ended up in his private collection. I would put his private collection as the best in the world. That may not be the case today nor do I know if he still lives. One day he wanted me to see something and he sat me down and we had an almost father /son moment enjoying just 3 of his albums. One was filled with Hank Aaron cards. I can’t even remember the 3rd album but it was a big name. Most of my memory was when he opened the Mickey Mantle album up. Just pages and pages. Filled with all of his early cards. Both rc tops AND BOWMAN! It’s ridiculous to think that that 1 photo album he had was worth….. over 100 million for sure but I really don’t know. These cards were in only the best condition. No dog eared cards. No blemishes. Can’t remember if any were off centered or not. I remember him telling me that he did sell Mickey Mantle rc cards just not any of the exceptional ones. He owned apartment buildings that were filled with cards. Not just 1980’s junk era but from every era. He man was a king in the industry. Also a Royal a$$hile. We did a convention up in Cooperstown and my mom who worked for him(how I got my job) gave me some money to buy some cards while we were there. As I walked around I saw a man trying to sell a box full of cards to a lot of the dealers. He wanted a couple hundred dollars, which I did not have. I kept an eye on him because I had $75 dollars and wanted them. 1984-85 star basketball cards. Very few were made. When he was completely dejected because NOBODY WANTED basketball cards back then. My mom actually bought me a Lou Alcindor rc card that was flawless except for a slight dog eared corner. The other 3 corners were perfect. She paid $30 dollars for it. Not too shabby for a Kareem Abdul Jabbar tc card!! Anyways. I was at the time behind my bosses table when I seen him leaving and I offered to buy them all for 75 bucks. My boss came over and told the guy he couldn’t sell them to me only him. He paid only $50 bucks for them even though I had $75 in my hand. He just said “Ben, he came here to see me not you. He was wrong but I was wrong to try to buy it as I stood behind his tables. I should have excused myself and bought it privately. We made 22 full sets of all the teams. All of the cards were in mint shape. 29 Michael Jordan rc cards. That’s not mentioning how many Magic Johndon/Larry Bird cards and everybody else for that matter. I got none of them. Not even a thank you. He was just annoyed with me.
Back in the Spring of 1968, l was on my way to School, and bought a pack baseball cards. When l in the school yard, l opened it, and had te Nolan Ryan, Gerry Koosman card shown. I didnt keep it, but it was in mint condition when l opened the pack.

Just super sad. I had so many of these cards but when my family moved in early 1978, my mother threw all of my cards out and waited three days before she told me. I was 15. So much for great memories from my youth. 😭😭😭
Why would she do that😅
@passcomcompass2623 She did the same thing to my sister; threw out all of her older Barbie Dolls. Many of those were probably worth some serious money.
I had all the original Garbage Pail Kids from the 80’s my dad trashed them because he said they weren’t for kids!
Glad you're back! Love the content. They were extremely helpful when I was learning how to submit to psa.
Glad I could help! Stay posted for more! 🙌
Oh wow, I thought I was seeing a suggestion for an old video. Glad to see you back at it! 👍

Going to assume that Trout card is worth a lot less now and that some Ohtani rookie card is going to crack the top 50.
I’m glad you’re back man !!!!
Hey Aquamatt 👋 the Jackie Robinson I graded for SGC sold for more than the PSA and it was in November and December!

The Dmitri Young collection also had the PSA 10 Hank Aaron, sold in 2012 for $357k
Loved watching; wish I had some vintage cards like those. My oldest is a 1973 Roberto Climente.
This is the most important and entertaining baseball card video on UA-cam, congratulations...
This was awesome. Any chance you can do this with the other sports--football, basketball, & hockey? Glad to see you back.
Yup! I am working on a football list this week ✅
Another outstanding video Matt! Can't wait for you to drop one for us football card collectors! Keep up the good work!

Great show... felt like a movie! Love that Gibson and Tom Seaver
loved the video. informative and enjoyable.
PSA 10 Fisk is tough. Real tough.
My hero, Mickey Mantle, no doubt the GOAT, id buy it if I only had 13 mil.
Hey Matt. Great to see you.
Hey there!
Glad to see You ,! 😊😊😊😊 WOW! Cards ♦️ $$$$$$$s. yes, More on this Topic,Thank You!
this stuff is great, are you making this video with Synfig?
What a fascinating video! From my amateur eyes, some of the 10s looked a bit off-center. Are vintage cards graded differently?
Holy crap, I have the Henderson, Clemente and Aaron! I wonder what they are worth????
I used to have so many late 60’s early 70’s but was robbed big time. I really think it was my ex’s brother. I couldn’t ever prove it. I had some really great cards too. agree the vintage cards just become more valuable as time goes on….
I remember when I was a kid that graduated from high school 1989 upperdeck card were sweet ken Griffey Jr was here in the minor leagues in San Bernardino and Stockton had Gary Sheffield were rookie cards and I own 2 sets of the 1989 upperdeck great memories.

Nice job with your video. Great content. What editing software do you use?

Coming soon! ✅
Good to see Reggie Jackson high on the list and getting love. Mr.October.
Glad you’re back 🎉
Pete rose at 5 should be in the Hall of Fame no questions asked
Totally agree!
But his relationship with a 14 year old girl in the 1970s sealed his fate to be inducted. Sad
Gotta say these PSA lists are great. 👍
Are these worth anything in raw condition
Good to see a new video from you
More to come!
@ 18:55 Actually, Thurman Munson and Joe Jackson aren't in the Hall of Fame as of yet, either.....but great cards nonetheless.
Dimitri Young collection is/was 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Awesome line up.
Bout time bro !!!!it’s been over 2 years
This is actually a really good list. Sure, it is missing some but to break list down into 50 is not easy.
Good count down for older cards thanks
You bet!
Great job brother. Brings back memories

Nice list.

I have some of these cards but not graded. They seem in good condition to me. Who can I sell them too?
