Huge fan of Monster Hunter here, this is an incredible figure and I'd love to see more Monster Hunter figures based on actual male and female armor designs from the game. The Gore Magala armor is one of the coolest in the series, my personal second favorite right behind the Astalos.
Im so sad I missed this figure years ago when it came out. Now it's sold for 300+. Ah well. I can only love her from afar. Love your content Jobby, it's made me laugh in these dark times.

Well, I have the Sendai one. And yes, while it doesn't as bad as the Yamato, but it still far from good. Mine have a miss-paint, "nubmark", etc. It's improving from the Yamato, but still, far from good.
My main issue with Naka (haven''t got her sisters yet so I can't really tell much based on photos from review blogs) was how I got mine with her waist socket has a tear on it so the ball joint pegged to it is always loose, not to mention the way her skirt is designed makes the connection not flushed enough so a gentle shake is enough to make her re-enact her fate in Truk. Oddly enough, I actually find the Yamato a good figure as its own despite the notoriety it's been getting both by collectors and bias figma purists. The only gripe I had on mine were the loose hair fringe peg, how it's easy to have the paint under her skirt rubbed and transferred around her thighs, and the paintjob on the Sakura petals on her head dress.
thought I should mention it but the reason in the non-rage mode she has hair covering her eye('s) is a reference to gore magala in the game being technically blind when it's not enraged in the game its horns cover its eyes until they pop up when it's in rage mode

Pretty amazing, damn. Gore Magala was my favorite monster in all respects for MH4U. I loved the story line, the art design, the battle, the armor, the weapons, and now, the waifu! 10/10 figure. Totally worth it! Gosh I just love how loaded this figure is, both the things that come with it, and the sheer personality. If you told me they waifu'd Gore Magala I'd have been like "lul Japan", but seeing this I have second thoughts. Nice review! The humor on the review vid itself was the usual top keks I've come to expect from Joby haha.
If any of you wanna start playing monster hunter, I recommend starting out with Monster hunter 4 Ultimate on the 3ds (I know you have one Jobby). 4U is beginner friendly and does a good job getting you hooked, I know for certain it got me hooked. Trust me, you won't regret that investment (if any of you do decide to buy it). Btw. You can play online multiplayer and local multiplayer (max 4 players) for free (I know right? It's Beautiful ; v ;)
Frenzy mode is a reference to the monsters when they get a dark purple Aura and their eyes glow red they're also more hostile more aggressive and strongerbut what you really have to watch out for is Apex frenzied now I've only bought one but it was a beast to fight

Frankly i'd argue it's easier to fall in love with little miss Gore here when you haven't been slammed face first into the dirt more often than you have fighting Rajang. (true story, i have carted more times to gore than i have rajang, and that's on average, so the fact that i've fought about fifty gore and only five rajang doesn't matter when i consistently beat rajang with less trouble. why? i don't know, i can't explain it.
If they make a Rathalos, and its a girl, I'm gonna have to stab someone. No... I'm bringing a Greatsowrds and Level 3 charging someone's neck off, arms and legs. Either way, great figure. I'd love to see a Shagaru Magala figure in the future.
Ironic really, Gore actually spreads his wings far more in frenzy mode. And if you're wondering, Gore magala scales (which are constantly scattered by him) send monsters that get a mouthful of them crazy-hence the 'frenzy' thing.
