You should check the zero resistance filter, which is impregnated with oil, for example, by K&N. I bought such a filter for my Yaris 1.0, but have not installed it yet. My previous car, Mitsubishi Sapporo coupe, had two carburetors, and when I installed a K&N filter there, I felt improvements after about 3000 rpm. Try to find such a filter, for impregnation with oil.

純正形状のエアクリでしたら問題ないと思いますよ😀
エンジンブローの原因としては、毒キノコタイプなどの純正クリーナーボックスを取り外すタイプの場合、エアフロに対する空気の流れが変化してしまって、想定される空気流量とのズレが原因と思われます。
