great video man... I'm from Brazil and I'm starting to collect watches, and I completely agree with everything you just said about Casio watches. That's pretty much the reason why I started buying watches. So I appreciate someone showing that watch collecting doesn't have to be a rich people's hobby and we can buy really good watches on a budget. Best of luck to you man, keep doing videos like that!!
Thanks. Watch collecting is such an interesting hobby. It isn't about spending the most money, but exploring what you like and seeing how your taste evolves over time.
hello guys, I'm a bit late but really wanted to bring something to the table here. I'm also from brazil and one thing about this country is: taxes. So many taxes going on that the japanese brands become a symbol of quality, affordability and relyability. I dont want a huge collection cause I like to wear all of them, but its so hard to give time of wrist to all pieces. in the meanwhile, I have 1 seiko and 2 casios at the moment, a f91w and a duro mdv107 and I couldnt be happier. If I tell you how many compliments I got for wearing my golden f91w you'd laugh. So lightweight, low profile, I love this watch. The duro I wear to go to work, to the pool, to dive at the beach, nato strap, leather strap... Its endless joy. Casio is GODTIER!
What bugs me about the company, CASIO, is they will make a nice looking watch only to stop making it forever. Meanwhile there's countless Casio models out there that are just butt-ugly and never seem to go away.
This fashion for large watches is a recent thing. Back in the 80s and earlier the typical dial size for a man's watch was 38mm and under. Why? Because it's the perfect size for a man's wrist unless they're morbidly obese. A watch looks far better if it sits of the wrist centrally and is framed by the arm rather than ingulfing the entire wrist. That looks like a kid trying on his dad's watch, especially if worn on the wrist bone which a lot of people do these days. Sub 40mm and worn BEHIND the wrist is the correct size and location for me and yes I'm a Casio fan and collector.
I totally get the small wrist problem. I’m 5ft 9in and 170lbs. I work out and have a decent physique but unfortunately nothing I can do to change my puny wrist size of 6in maybe a tiny bit bigger. Great video! Love Casio!
As a fellow small-wristed person, I get it. At 6.5", I struggle to wear larger watches. I also have a growing Casio collection. I had a WV58A-1AVCR in high school and going into college, but the strap broke, and I misplaced it in one of my many moves since then. After that, I was gifted a DBC-32 and an AW-81. Then, I bought myself a BGD560-7, an F-105W, an AE1200WH, and an F-91W. I'm also holding onto my brother's old DW-9052 that I repaired, and while it certainly looks big and chunky, it wears surprisingly comfortably due to its light weight and strap interface. I guess it really depends on the watch.
That's a nice collection of Casio watches you've collected over the years. I had to look up most of the watches you referenced because I wasn't familiar with the models. 😄
September 2023 - I had 2 Casios I had bought decades ago (and forgot about them(.. July 2024, I’ve 50 Casios. I’ve a budget of $100 on a watch and I’ve got more expensive ones when they were on sale. Now that I heard that someone doesn’t mind a women’s watch, let me seriously think about Casio Tank which unfortunately is available only in Ladies version.
Excellent video for those of us on a budget. That's the charm of Casio. As someone with a 6 inch wrist, I suggest checking out their 5600 G shock. It's a Goldilocks perfect fit
Great vid mate! I also find myself more and more into casio. After owning some more expensive mechanical watches, I still find myself liking those cheap casio. After I saw the AQ-230 model, I bought a whole set with each of different colours 2yrs ago & I love those til this day. Looking forward to your next content!
I love this! As someone with a smaller wrist, I used to be so annoyed at how the watches looked on me, But thankfully now I know what to wear. Most of my collection are older watches given to me by family members, and I noticed they fit me so much better, I guess smaller watches were much more in style back then. Either way I subbed.
I am new to Casio too. I never thought I would like a plastic watch. Now I think plastic or reinforced carbon is the best material for watches. I like the utility of the alarms, counter and stop watch. I use them regularly and now I see three handers a a dumb watch. I see all the new color schemes on models that I can find not find in black. I want some color. I will probably mod some of them with nato straps.
13:30 uhm, G-Shocks are mostly know for having loud vibrant colors, yet even in the Baby-G line there's plenty black/white and neat toned down options.
There are a lot of black/white options in the Baby G lineup, but it seems like most are pink, rose gold, and other traditionally feminine colors. It would be nice if Casio had more neutral colors to go along with those other color variations.
Great vid again! I also have the Casioak and I have that Midnight Fog too. I also think that the new 5600EP2 line at 42-43 is a good one for u too to review. Last for my work watches I like the Telememo ani-digi, 40mm only, great for the office. Review those as well as they are bangin'.
The casio EFV 100D is one of my fav from their edifice line. i own black and white versions. If you feel they are big for your wrist there exists an another version EFV 110D which is smaller.
Love the collection, especially the Tiffany Casio, W86, F105W, and the "Pepsi" Duro 💯🔥🔥🔥quite a few watches here that I don't see all too often in some collections that I've come across, so I really like the variety.
Casio is not innovating anymore. Casio is lazy and greedy now. They are relying on success from thirty years ago. Re-releases with cheaper material and outdated technology just won’t do it.
Funnily enough, MaMaCoo 's replicas are perfect for people who can actually afford a luxury watch. Because in those social circles, it wouldn't matter and everybody would just assume it's real. You have a yacht and a beach house in Tuscany, of course that replica is real. There isn't a millionaire out there going around with a jeweller's loupe to scrutinize their acquaintance's watch. They'll just go "Oh is that a Patek? Nice, I should really get my hands on one of those, they look great."

Yeah, I hear you. They will make a nice line or series and then discontinue it.
An example is God tier G shock g9000

I'm liking smaller watches. Doesn't bring too much attention to the wrist.
Bro, you are gonna do big things with your channel! Good luck!
Thanks. Just having fun with these videos. Hoping to make videos about watches that aren't usually covered as well.

I'm hoping to share more about my watch journey with smaller Casios, even if so many are big

Wow, what a collection. I didn't mind looking at the women's watches if they fit better.

I've found the 5600 series to be a little too big, which is why I've tried the 5600 women's series.

Thanks for the comment. I've enjoyed collecting Casio watches. It's fun.
I have recently bought the aq230 with white dial and numerical display, it is phenomenal watch. Just I hoped it had the led backlight as well!

Glad to hear you've been able to find watches that fit you. And it's always great when you get watches handed down.
Your content is rich bro, pls dont change ur video style, keep going!!
Thanks. I'm enjoying making videos

The plastic models have grown on me. Never thought I'd like the bands, but I'm finding them more comfortable over time.

Thanks. I like the variety and as my taste in Casio watches changes, I'm sure the collection will grow more diverse.
HI. Great video. What is the diver that is on the top tier mid level extreme right?
I think the one you are asking about is the S110. The solar diver. Is that right?
@@thissmallwrist ah yes. It's a rather large watch though
Can you tell me the model of the first watch top left i like that
I believe that's the Lineage M100. It's from Japan, but I think you can get it on Amazon.
@@thissmallwrist it's not available in our country
You got that efv 100d but not the smaller version 110d??
I couldn't find the smaller version.
Amazing collection 😍
Thank you. It's a growing collection that I'm trying to refine over time. Lots of watches I had to return in the past. 😄
@@thissmallwrist keep it up mate
Hey, can you list down & and share all the model names of your collection. I would love to have selective pieces in my collection too
Maybe I'll do that in a future video. A state of the collection at the end of the year.
I often see a cool Casio and it's not on the UK dealer network.
New subbber! Enjoyed this my first video.
Thank you
Model of the dive watch ? Right corner
MDV-10
Casio se compara ao Fusca (VW Beetle/Sedan), barato, mas icônico, não sem motivos cultuado até hoje, rompeu o século XX e continua atual em XXI.
Small wrist is a pro imo, coming from a 7.5" wrist guy
For some watches that's true
Great vid ✊🏾💯
Thank you
Your wrist size?
6.25 inches
Man where is 5000 series ? 😮😮
I don't have any....yet 😅
Dude, you have a regular sized wrist! Not small
I think 6.25 inches is small
New subscriber here ❤
Thanks for subbing!
Get a a700 and a168
I have two A700s. Probably not getting the A168.
susbcribed
Thanks

Casio is lazy and greedy now. They are relying on success from thirty years ago.
Re-releases with cheaper material and outdated technology just won’t do it.
They do release new watches every now and then. And if nothing new comes out, I'm learning to explore their other lines, like Protrek.
Haď to stop watching because of the over dramatic hand movements! Annoying
👍
