    Dude. Love your vids. You can turn down velocity sensitivity on the pad where you are launching the clip. Go to program edit, select the Lfo/modulation tab, and turn down velocity sensitivity.

    Damn bro. Been trying to figure out why I fucking sucked 😂. I had the drums quantized… coming from ep 133 . All I did was have everything off . Everything was free mode. I turned that off now it’s back to the grind😂. Love your vids man❤. That guy with the module and LFo settings came in clutch. More or less I’m like you with normal settings and I like the full button as well. My drums sounded more tight and compact which is what I go for normally on my beats. Thanks dude . @@LiftedNoise I'll be truthfully honest with you Lifted. The first few days I had it we're really exciting, and then I got overwhelmed for a little bit, and wasn't on it for about two weeks, but I got back on it two days ago, and still haven't turned it off. I was watching alot of tutorials on how to sync it up with other gear and how to use it. I'm way more comfortable now, and I made about 4 beats since Friday. This happens with every new piece of gear I get. It takes me a little while to get used to, then I'm fine. I'm about to load up the F9 expansion and maybe 1 other one and work with just that. The drum sounds are fine, but the synth not so much, but it can work.
      I just learned how to sync it all up, so I'll be making alot of stuff. It's finally that time where I can do what I really want to. It's just hard to do the vocal stuff here because I live right by a loud highway and my neighbor can here right through the wall, and he sleeps at night, when I like grooving out. The only other thing I need is a camcorder, but I'll be doing other projects in the meantime. Later on Lifted...SBN RESONATE

    • @LiftedNoise
      @LiftedNoise  3 роки тому

      Definitely stick with it. You'll get it. And I've really like a couple things you put out recently. I feel you on the vocals. I'm in an apartment with my family and feel the need to censor myself, it's frustrating like creativity is trapped in a cage. I run out of patience often. Creativity is ment to express emotion sometimes difficult to experience and when you can't, well fyck that's kind of a bitch. We all got to be like alchemists, turning our own shit into gold.

    Man just saw your channel first this is dope !
    Just a question I got a maschine mikro mk3 for finger drumming what is the difference of feeling with akai products according to you ??

    • @LiftedNoise
      @LiftedNoise  3 роки тому +1

      I myself can't really compare. I've never tried the mk3. I had a mikro mk2 but it was so long ago and I wasn't fingerdrumming then but I have looked around as far as other peoples opinions and I've heard in a few places that the maschine is a lot more sensitive but not sure in everyone's case that's not necessarily a good thing. If you're a beginner a more sensitive touch will require much more precision, so lot's of practice! Either way lot's of practice. You can probably also adjust it with the maschine but that's about all I can say. ✌🙏

      Maschine pads are a bit better I'd say when it comes to consistent velocity sensitivity. They are also bigger which actually makes a big difference (to me at least - I found the MPC One pads too small, now I'm on a Live 2 and that is much better size wise, but still prefer maschine mk3 pads)

  • @tali813

    My mpc live 2 is constantly giving me unwanted double hits. No matter how I adjust the sensitivity, it keeps doing it. What do I do?

    • @LiftedNoise
      @LiftedNoise  3 роки тому +1

      How bout turning on full level? When I first got my LIVE I thought it was way too sensitive so I just turned that on and it wasn't an issue. For me it's just a lack of practice that had me double triggering.

  • @theincredibleillmo9385

  • @MediaMusik777
    @MediaMusik777 2 роки тому

    I just found a work around for fast drumming the pads can cut out on me.. I went into drum edit mode and set pads from mono to 2 and this way you can double tap on one single pad and no more missed trigger or cut outs

    • @LiftedNoise

    So I took my mpc one on it’s first live gig. One of my homies was jamming on it. The pad sensitivity now is different on some pads. They still trigger but the feel is waaaaaaaay off. I can’t do the Tom rolls anymore. Now my mpd26 jams better than the mpc one. What can I do?

    • @LiftedNoise
      @LiftedNoise  3 роки тому +1

    how hard should i be hitting my pads? i feel like im hitting them way too hard to get any noise out at all. I just bought a used mpc live 1 and im not having the ease you seem to have, even when changing the settings all to max sensitivity

    • @LiftedNoise
      @LiftedNoise  3 місяці тому

      Yea that doesn't sound right. What other gear with pads have you used? Sometimes I feel like the pad sensitivity is relative to others. You get used to a certain feel. Maybe you got something faulty with buying used but I hope not. Let's try to rule out some things..if you set the pads to full velocity do they respond well? If so I think that it's maybe your not used to the pads velocity sensitivity. Also what mpc one do you have, the black one, mpc one plus or maybe the Retro version and what color are the pads? I'd like to rule out a bad user install of custom fat pads. I bought a used live 2 once that had white fat pads and the sensitivity was terrible.
