Dude. Love your vids. You can turn down velocity sensitivity on the pad where you are launching the clip. Go to program edit, select the Lfo/modulation tab, and turn down velocity sensitivity.
🙏 wow man 👏 thank You so much for that. Just tried it. Works perfectly 🙌 i appreciate 💯
Very well explained. Thx for sharing. So many levels to the mpc’s always something to learn🤜🏾💥🤛🏾
yes indeed
Nice explanation! I really want to improve my finger drumming and you supplied really great insight into how to set up your pads. Thank you!!! Also, those stickers look real nice on your MPC! I like :)
🙏 right on thanks man. Fingerdrumming is a lot of fun, it makes using an MPC feel more like your playing an instrument. I appreciate you stopping by and leaving a comment. 💯
Man that was dope and the skills are def there with finger drumming and learned a lot
😎🙏 glad to hear it!
Dope man bout to check out the pack and start practicing!
🙏 that's what's up bro, thank You! Check out Beats by JBlack if you haven't already.
This is a really considerate video thanks it is a big help!
🙏💯
YOOOOO!!! That CYCLING tip is a game changer!!!
This making me want to jump on my MPC. Really cool video bro. 🔥🖤🦾🐺
😎 right on! Thanks bro!! 💯👊
@@LiftedNoise always with great content 🖤🦾🐺.

Damn. Yesterday i was struggeling with this. Thx for the video!
🙏 hey no doubt!! 💯 thanks for stopping in. ✌
Damn bro. Been trying to figure out why I fucking sucked 😂. I had the drums quantized… coming from ep 133 . All I did was have everything off . Everything was free mode. I turned that off now it’s back to the grind😂. Love your vids man❤. That guy with the module and LFo settings came in clutch. More or less I’m like you with normal settings and I like the full button as well. My drums sounded more tight and compact which is what I go for normally on my beats. Thanks dude . Was so frustrated…🗿🗿
Definitely some Golden✨ Nuggets here...Thank you for sharing 💯💜

Thank you
Yes bro good stuff. Uk London
Ay 🙏 thank You bro!
I’m on the MPC2500 and there aren’t much videos explaining these functions. Good shit man.
Glad You like it man 🙏
Awesome
😎
Great tutorial as usual bro!! I feel the same as Ghetto Styles, I tried it and struggled lol!🙏🏾✊🏾
🙏 thanks bro!! I learned quite a bit from just watching a few guys. Beats by JBlack for example. He's been putting out some basic tutorial videos, should be a great resource.
@@LiftedNoise Yeah he's amazing with it! J Filt from Verysickbeats has a great exercise that's helpful too! I tried but that's not my lane at all lol!!🙏🏾✊🏾
@@lindasson when I first saw AraabMuzik do it i was amazed but thought to myself nah ill never be able to do that 😅 but Beats ByJBlack really inspired me to try it! He is amazing!!
@@LiftedNoise Bro.. he's not human lol! He's a freakin Cyborg man, and Trizzy too! I have some pretty basic patterns down, baby stuff.. but those guys are AWESOME
My man Lifted whats good bro
Happy Holiday bro! I'm going to enjoy the time off. Maybe a get a video or two in...🙏 hbu?
There is a way to have full velocity on whatever pad you want. Go into the program edit section
🙏
🔥🔥🔥
🙏🙏🙏
Nice
Thank You 🙏
Hey Lifted, your nasty nice with the finger drumming and velocities on them pads...SBN RESONATE
Thanks bro 🙏 how are you liking your ONE?
@@LiftedNoise I'll be truthfully honest with you Lifted. The first few days I had it we're really exciting, and then I got overwhelmed for a little bit, and wasn't on it for about two weeks, but I got back on it two days ago, and still haven't turned it off. I was watching alot of tutorials on how to sync it up with other gear and how to use it. I'm way more comfortable now, and I made about 4 beats since Friday. This happens with every new piece of gear I get. It takes me a little while to get used to, then I'm fine. I'm about to load up the F9 expansion and maybe 1 other one and work with just that. The drum sounds are fine, but the synth not so much, but it can work.
I just learned how to sync it all up, so I'll be making alot of stuff. It's finally that time where I can do what I really want to. It's just hard to do the vocal stuff here because I live right by a loud highway and my neighbor can here right through the wall, and he sleeps at night, when I like grooving out. The only other thing I need is a camcorder, but I'll be doing other projects in the meantime. Later on Lifted...SBN RESONATE
Definitely stick with it. You'll get it. And I've really like a couple things you put out recently. I feel you on the vocals. I'm in an apartment with my family and feel the need to censor myself, it's frustrating like creativity is trapped in a cage. I run out of patience often. Creativity is ment to express emotion sometimes difficult to experience and when you can't, well fyck that's kind of a bitch. We all got to be like alchemists, turning our own shit into gold.
Man just saw your channel first this is dope !
Just a question I got a maschine mikro mk3 for finger drumming what is the difference of feeling with akai products according to you ??
I myself can't really compare. I've never tried the mk3. I had a mikro mk2 but it was so long ago and I wasn't fingerdrumming then but I have looked around as far as other peoples opinions and I've heard in a few places that the maschine is a lot more sensitive but not sure in everyone's case that's not necessarily a good thing. If you're a beginner a more sensitive touch will require much more precision, so lot's of practice! Either way lot's of practice. You can probably also adjust it with the maschine but that's about all I can say. ✌🙏
@@LiftedNoise thanks so much for your answer bro ! 🙏🏽🙏🏽
@@quentinguerit788 no doubt 🙏
Maschine pads are a bit better I'd say when it comes to consistent velocity sensitivity. They are also bigger which actually makes a big difference (to me at least - I found the MPC One pads too small, now I'm on a Live 2 and that is much better size wise, but still prefer maschine mk3 pads)
My mpc live 2 is constantly giving me unwanted double hits. No matter how I adjust the sensitivity, it keeps doing it. What do I do?
How bout turning on full level? When I first got my LIVE I thought it was way too sensitive so I just turned that on and it wasn't an issue. For me it's just a lack of practice that had me double triggering.
Haven’t you experienced any double trigger or even triplet issues with the MPC One? I’ve just returned my MPC Live 2 bc of this.
I just found a work around for fast drumming the pads can cut out on me.. I went into drum edit mode and set pads from mono to 2 and this way you can double tap on one single pad and no more missed trigger or cut outs
Dope! I forget, could it also be set to poly?
@@LiftedNoise the master is default poly but yes poly allows for individual drum sound to set it from mono to 2 no more than that unless you want to triple tap set it to 3 lol
@@MediaMusik777 oh ok gotcha! Great tip!!
yooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Ayyyyyyyyy!! 🙏🙏🙏
Orale Raul.. cool beat. Yeah man that kick sounds too stiff for my liking aye. I would massage it down a tad , you know soften it up. PaZ
So I took my mpc one on it’s first live gig. One of my homies was jamming on it. The pad sensitivity now is different on some pads. They still trigger but the feel is waaaaaaaay off. I can’t do the Tom rolls anymore. Now my mpd26 jams better than the mpc one. What can I do?
Yea that is strange. Is it for any drum program you load up? Or is it possible your friend somehow changed some of the pad settings on a specific drum program?
@@LiftedNoise yeah man is for any program. I checked all parameters I could see. I turn on and off the device. Disconnected all usb devises also. And not a response from the pads. Only like 3 or 4 pads accross all projects
how hard should i be hitting my pads? i feel like im hitting them way too hard to get any noise out at all. I just bought a used mpc live 1 and im not having the ease you seem to have, even when changing the settings all to max sensitivity
Yea that doesn't sound right. What other gear with pads have you used? Sometimes I feel like the pad sensitivity is relative to others. You get used to a certain feel. Maybe you got something faulty with buying used but I hope not. Let's try to rule out some things..if you set the pads to full velocity do they respond well? If so I think that it's maybe your not used to the pads velocity sensitivity. Also what mpc one do you have, the black one, mpc one plus or maybe the Retro version and what color are the pads? I'd like to rule out a bad user install of custom fat pads. I bought a used live 2 once that had white fat pads and the sensitivity was terrible.
I don’t seem to be able to adjust the velocity on the touch screen.
You have to select pad sensitivity or threshold on the touchscreen but you need to use the big knob to adjust it.
what a bout the smaller pads compared to the Live? does it make a difference for finger druming?
I never noticed much difference. I guess it all depends on your hands but it worked fine for me.
It is a lot of difference for me, but I even prefer the even larger pads of maschine. I sold my MPC One for the bigger Live 2 pads (speaker and batter too)
at the end of the day , the pad quality is equal on differents new mpc ?
I do believe they are all the same. Other than the mpc one pads being smaller.
Quick question... is an LFO active?
Yes on the pitch of the looped sample. It's one of the methods I use to go for a lofi sound. If it sounds bad tell me 🤣 I could always go with the other method.
